I had to write this review because I'm literally craving a sandwich from Isabella's right now but sadly live in Houston. We visit Baltimore every summer for a music fest but this was our first year stopping by but best believe we will be coming back for years to come for as many Tony Bolognas and pizzas as we can handle. Service was also exceptional. So freakin good 100/10

Employees were super friendly and accommodating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A classic Italian sort of deli/ shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pizza was delicious and made with love! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's pretty small inside so not much seating to offer, it's more of a take out kind of place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prices were a little high but it's worth supporting a small business!

A fantastic and affordable restaurant in Little Italy. The antipasto salad was surprisingly large for the price. Don't forget to specify what dressing you would like. The pizza came out quickly and was very good. The staff there was friendly and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Note there is very limited seating within the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Got a large pizza Bianca with spinach and sausage today.

Return visit after a few years away. The place was busy in it's final hour of the day to process a catering order. They close at 4pm so, I am glad to have gotten in before the started to wind down for the day. The food and history of this place has quite a reputation so, I am pleased. The place is small but efficient.

A must try! Competition in Little Italy is fierce, but I would say that Isabella's is super solid. It's nothing like a Sicilian pizza, but it is far from an American NY slice. For the Leonardo pizza, the arugula helps balance the saltiness of the prosciutto. The breading isn't the chewiest or snappiest, but it is very solid with firmer texture. The service was wonderful: family owned and operated. Receiving the pizza took about 18 minutes so if you are in a time crunch, I would suggest ordering in advance and picking it up. I will definitely come back and hope to see you around as well :)

Tried this place on a sunny Friday afternoon. I was a little shocked at the price point of 25$ for a large pizza in a take out type of venue but went for it anyway. We sat outdoors; they have a few tables available. Pizza was good but not great, and not particularly memorable. I felt like the ingredients were likely canned and not fresh. We asked for the pizza well done but it was still a little soggy at the tips of the pizza slices. 3.5 stars.

This is the Italian cold cut. Missing ingredients and the safest Italian cold cut I've ever order for $18...

Smallest sub I've ever received. Worse than subway. Missing ingredients. Used to order from here a lot and now may never order again

What a great spot in little Italy! Ordered the Scooch Sub and it was phenomenal. Great local deli with friendly staff and amazing food! Will definitely be returning back in the near future.

Raw dough and raw ingredients from can.. the mushroom is marinated from can

So sad to have chosen this place after searching for best pizza in Baltimore for days. The ingredients seem all from can (not fresh and full of sodium and vinegar or something).. mushrooms, everything. Whether in the salad or on pizza. Worst pizza I have ever had in my life. this is supposed to be brick-oven? I ordered well-done, but the crust was wet and soft with ingredients undercooked while the crust still managed to be blacked. you could not lift a slice without all the toppings folling off uncooked center dough, which separated from the rest of the crust, as well because so wet. the garlic bread was like on soft regular bread not cooked well and packaged into a squished small plastic salad container.... salad is ok if you like all ingredients (like mushrooms, olive, red peppers, artichoke) are marinated from can or jar (same ones found in the pizza, makes sense why they try to HIDE it with the cheese on top).. not fresh at all!! we have been waiting to try this place for a while, and it is the worst disappointment for my birthday.

Pizza Pavion, you will not regret it!

Takeout review only. Little Italy is a competitive location for pizza spots but this place is definitely one of my favorites. While not the cheapest in the area, Isabella's has some of the best topping combinations. The Pizza Pavion is one of my favorite combos of all time. The slightly bitter broccoli rabe with melted cheese and acidic tomato sauce is an amazing flavor bomb. I like their Neapolitan style thin crust that maintains crispiness despite travel time and when microwaved as leftovers. My partner also likes to get their hot sandwiches and a large is definitely more than a foot long. Their meatball and porchetta sandwiches hit the spot but are not the juiciest in Baltimore. Their Italian sub is good but could use a more vinegar. For some extra kick consider topping with hot honey or Calabrian chilies.

Do they offer a gluten-free or cauliflower crust?

There was about 8 of us and we were seated downstairs in the bar area at a high top. Despite there being a reservation, it felt like our party was a last minute thought. The table was cramped and the ambiance of the downstairs bar area was dingy and dimly-lit. Our server, who was also the only bartender, did his best to multi task all night, although his demeanor was not very warm or friendly. I ordered the gluten free version of the Samantha fettuccine. Despite this being the only noodle they don't make in house, I had to pay extra for it. Annoying, but not totally unexpected. What was disappointing was the total price for the dish. It came out to be almost $50.... I believe the pasta is marked as market price due to the inclusion of crab meat but when it arrived, there was barely any in the dish. The flavor of the sauce was good but definitely not worth the price tag. I won't be returning anytime soon.

I'm still looking for a smooth sauce for some chicken parm, but no worries since the menu here has plenty of different sauce options! I enjoyed the chicken francese. The chicken was very tender and it was a generous portion. I felt it could have used a bit more flavor, but the sauce was a nice consistency and the linguine was cooked perfectly. Dalesios of Little Italy has been open since 1984 and has been serving great Italian dishes in the heart of Baltimore's Little Italy. Walking inside, the restaurant is tastefully decorated. It screams old world, European charm with it's unique art adorning the walls. I'm seated in the first dining room, closest to the front door. There's a bar inside this room which adds to the Italian decor. First time here, I don't know the restaurants portion sizes. Is it family style where one plate can feed a small army? The portion size was perfect. I ordered a nice glass of Italian wine and the Scampi & Crab Alla Sardegna. The pasta dish was amazing. The pasta was cooked perfect al dente and the Scampi & Crab sauce was something unique to Baltimore. It's Crab & Shrimp simmered in a cognac, garlic & tomato cream sauce. All of this goodness is served over linguine. I love Maryland Crabs and to have them topped in a pasta dish makes my heart sing. I highly recommend this dish. My waiter was very informative, he made some great dinner suggestions but I first had to try the Scampi & Crab Alla Sardegna. The next time I come I'm going to order the Lasagna!
