My absolute go-to breakfast and or lunch spot whenever I visit the island! Everything from the coffee, breakfast, and lunch plates are all delicious. I love that there are more than a few locations so you never have to go without. I do feel like this is the biggest/most popular one. Some specialty coffees can be too sweet, but I find all the drinks I've ordered to have a good balance. Plus, staff is so friendly and they really do want you to enjoy your experience so they'll work with you to find the perfect drink. The açaí bowls are so fresh and vibrant. Not only they aesthetically pleasing, it makes the perfect light breakfast/snack. They've recently added fresh lychee to their bowls and it is a game changer. The fruits are always fresh and sweet and the açaí is just the perfect touch of sweetness Taro bagel is fun and good to try, at least once. Upgrade it to a salmon lox bagel sandwich. the waygu loco moco is also a must. It's super flavorful and pairs with the rice and egg perfectly. A lot of people don't even know there's shaved ice here. Don't skip it! Again, not too sweet but the flavor is on point. The topping options are limitless and all delicious! I especially love popping boba and the mochi bits. I just ordered their original bowl. The bowl comes with banana, and berries. The bowl was okay. I thought the açaí was too sweet and there was not enough fruit. The container was filled ¾ full of açaí. The ratio was very off. I didn't finish the bowl, it was too sweet. The place was pretty clean, some of the tables may need to be wiped down. Hubby saw an ad for this place at the mall and did the follow-up checking Yelp reviews so we decided to give this place a try. I had actually noticed it when we walked by it the other day but assumed it wouldn't be good because it wasn't Ululani's. I was wrong - it was good! Not nearly as good as Ululani's, of course, but requires no driving from our resort. My daughter, who is less discriminating, thought it was just as good as Ululani's. Order at the coffee bar and pick up at the shave ice counter. It's really not that hard. We got the island sunset, which was quite tasty. The ice was shaved fine for the most part, though close to the bottom there were larger harder bits and the syrup hadn't fully penetrated, but I think that's pretty common when you have ice cream in there. Flavors were intense, and the syrup was very sweet. Loved the real lilikoi seeds in there. 5 stars for presentation - they're not trying to mimic the mom and pop stand shave ice here. This place is in the Wailea mall. It's the place to get shaved ice. Kind of weird that you don't order the shaved ice from their side. There are two sides to the store. One for shaved ice and one for the coffee shop and Acai bowls. You order everything from the coffee shop side. What ever you want. If it's shaved ice then you go over to that side on the right to get your item. Today the wife decided to get an Acai bowl instead. She got the Original Acai bowl and she liked it but it had Acai in it and not enough fruit. Not very balanced. The staff were really friendly and it was a nice place and clean. I've always been a fan of Island Vintage and I love that they have this Wailea location nearby. They have high quality coffee and espresso drinks, tea, milkshakes and smoothies. Not to mention, one of the BEST açaí bowls on Maui and delicious food. I do wish the prices were a tad lower otherwise I'd come more often but food prices range from $12.95 to $27.95. Wailea area is definitely for the tourists. For drinks, I'm a huge fan of Iced Hojicha (Roasted Green Tea) drink and got it a lot when I went to Japan. It usually comes with Oat Milk but I always ask for Macadamia Nut Milk instead. Hojicha is a great alternative to Matcha since you get more of the roasted taste rather than the grassy taste of matcha. If you love Açaí bowls, the Lilikoi Moana Bowl never fails with the perfect slices of bananas, strawberries and papaya with drizzle of house made lilikoi honey with lilikoi seeds! The granola is also organic and perfect crunch with all the fresh fruit. I annihilated my 16 oz lol! I've also tried the Haupia Moana Bowl with Haupia Cream. Haupia is coconut pudding so if you like coconut, go for it. As you can see, I had bought the cheapest food item previously. I had to post the photo of my Tomato Soup and Salad. It looks simple but was creamy and delicious! Served with a few slices of toast so I asked them for butter. I usually see tourists purchase Bagel sandwiches which look yummy and also their Signature Shave Ice looks popular! It looks like a mix of Korean Bingsu with some offerings that have popping boba and azuki bean. I will have to try that next time! The house special latte was wonderful and I enjoyed the subtle nutty flavor. We also got breakfast. It is expensive but gave a generous portion of food on the entree plate, depending on which one you got. I got the traditional breakfast plate with sausage, eggs, black rice, and half a papaya. We stopped by Island Vintage Coffee in Wailea early one morning while we were in the area. I spotted an ube milkshake in the photos on Yelp which piqued my interest. Even though I couldn't find it on the menu, I asked the staff if they made them and the worker kindly said they could make one for me. Major points for great customer service! My other half ordered the Haupia Hojicha, and I had a sip which was really good! Smooth and balanced with that distinct roasted tea flavor and coconut blend. My ube milkshake tasted a lot like coconut as well, but it was still tasty and hit the spot. We also shared a breakfast bagel which was served warm and nicely presented. It was just as delicious as it looked and made for a satisfying light meal to go with our drinks. That said, everything came out to around $45 for two drinks and a bagel, which is definitely on the pricier side. It's the Wailea tax I guess. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars--otherwise, everything was on point. Walked to the shops from the four seasons, so we were i need of something to cool us down. They had their menu posted by the door,so we took a peak. I had been craving an acai bowls, so thats what we went with. Some of the bowls come with multiple sizes, but the original one only comes in the bigger size. We were lucky to come in right before the crowd arrived. I've noticed in the past, this establishment is usually always busy. A good amount of seating available, clean and nice decor with decent items for purchase. This place also has delicious drinks. I've seen people walk by with eye catching vibrant colored drinks which fueled my curiosity to check it out! I ordered a premium matcha ( cold) with oat milk and my cousin ordered a tea. My matcha was creamy and flavorful. I was so happy with it that I savored every drop. lol We ordered breakfast bagels. Mine was the bacon, egg and sesame bagel with a side salad and the other was a Portuguese sausage, egg and ube bagel with fruit. The Portuguese sausage here on the island is always yummy. The bagels weren't toasted ( which would have elevated the meal I think) , but the salad and fruit were good. They were well put together however, I honestly felt the sandwiches could be a bit better especially that we paid almost 20 dollars each for them! The best acai bowl I've ever had because their homemade almond butter is literally amazing. My husband and I went here on our honeymoon for breakfast for two mornings and got their açai bowls and their frozen coffee which were both really delicious. I highly recommend ordering online way ahead of time because I ordered online and it was still 40 minutes till after the time online said it would be ready. One of my favorite shave ice spots near my mom's crib at the time in Lahaina was Ululani's on Front Street. After the wildfire, she relocated to Kihei and I have been searching for a new place to get shave ice. We decided to check out The Shops at Wailea and came across Island Vintage. I tried the Heavenly Lilikoi and it definitely didn't disappoint! It was supposed to come with yogurt, but since their machine was down, we went with vanilla ice cream instead and it was still good. Great service and lots of space. My family and I got a number of things from here. I got the matcha latte and hojicha latte, which were both too sweet and not enough tea flavor; I still enjoyed the drinks overall. The shaved ice were also good, but not the best that we had on the island. The part I do like about the shaved ice the most were the mochi bits and the syrup flavoring. I've met friend here and ordered sandwiches and loco moco plates. I've had their teas and coffees here. Love the honey lavender coffee. I've had several açaí bowls here. My fav is the one with lilikoi in it. I used to love the location near the lagoons on Oahu. So sad that they had to close that down. If u jut need water, there an area to the right to refill water. There are only a hand full of seats here at the shops in Wailea location. Some people will save seats while having their friends wait in line to order. The rainbow shaved ice was the best I've had- perfect combo of ice, ice cream and mochi. The next morning I went back here for the hapuna Moana acai bowl and a coffee, which hit the spot.
