I honestly was not expecting something so AMAZING!! I came across this place with a friend completely unplanned. Late night 12:45am. Little neon illuminated "open" sign in the window and a sidewalk sign advertising Italian food/pizza! This little gem is hidden in a corner so you can easily miss it. Entry is through this little quaint Italian like courtyard. Once inside greeted by a very nice friendly fellow. He took the time to go over the big menu and his recommendations.. (Italian plates and PIZZA. ). I settled on just plain spaghetti and meatballs. And I threw in some garlic bread. I asked if was big piece of bread like a loaf size ... he said it's a good size not soo big. I told him okay to add to order. You order with him at the counter and then he'll bring out your food to your table whereever you choose to sit. The place is a small, quaint almost like a deli feel place with Italian style chairs and tables. Nothing fancy just laid back almost euro/NY feeling. He had some euro house hotel lobby type music playing. Ambience was chill and relaxed. Got the food (didn't wait long at all) the plate was literally a mound full of spaghetti and huge meatballs and it smelled soooooooo darn delicious... .. the spaghetti meatballs were soooooo dang good! The spaghetti perfectly cooked. the sauce was to die for amazing. (A bit spicy but oh gosh it was so good.). The spaghetti I imagined being made by an old Sicilian grandma in the back kitchen it was so comforting and hearty and just plain delicious. He then brought out the garlic bread and it was literally on a large pizza tray. I thought to myself "I didn't order a pizza." thin Flat bread style, cracker crispy edges with doughy garlic soft chewy center. Geez!!!! So good. I ate the entire plate of spaghetti i was surprised and half the garlic bread I took away with me and he even gave a small container of more sauce to dip the bread into!!! This place is a little euro Italian gem. I loved it. I will be back to try the PIZZA!!! Which looked sooooooo good!!! I'll try other things in the menu as well.. this little place has a lot to offer. Not just pizza!!! The place seemed quiet when we got there but seemed busy with all the orders and carry out /pick ups...And other customers coming in and taking a seat to eat as well. Came here with my boyfriend. He suggested this cute place him and his co-workers grabbed food. We did dine in, and were serviced well. We didn't wait so long for our food to come out & it was freshly hot and delicious. No complaints food was incredibly tasty. There's no patio seating but definitely super spacious to dine in inside. They don't seem to have parking lot, but in front of the restaurant they do have parking meters & around the neighborhood. Definitely recommend to stop by. read more

Wow! Italian Express knocked me on my ass -- in a good way. My sons were supposed to take me to dinner for my birthday. But something came up and they had to cancel. So as a birthday present to myself I ordered the Linguini with White Clam Sauce from Italian Express. I knew it was a crapshoot as I had never tasted it's fare before. Besides, I'm a Linguini with Red Sauce guy but that wasn't on their menu. I've got to tell you, that Sauce, filled with garlic, white wine and lots of clams was FABULOUS! WOW. I'm shocked this place isn't busy! The food is incredible the pizza is thin and delicious cheese. The pasta was a perfect al dente and the meatballs have got to made in house. So good! I was curious to see what places were in the area within walking distance from where I was staying, and Italian Express popped up. It was pretty much between this, Frida Mexican (which I know is costly), and then the polar opposite, Denny's. Quite frankly, I don't mind Denny's but I was kind of craving spaghetti, so Italian Express won this round. A nice man was on a phone order, and addressed me right away. I went with the spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread (I didn't want to get this but when he told me no bread was included, I felt I had to). He let me wait inside, pulling the table back so I could pass through. It was rather chilly inside, but I would rather wait there than in the drizzle outside. Eventually, he brought everything over and was thanking me since I let him know it was my first visit. He said I will love it and I shall return. Service here was great! I will say when I unwrapped the pasta (which was packaged appropriately), I'm glad it was tightly sealed since there was A LOT of sauce, it was to the point the spaghetti was pretty much swimming in it. Once I dug into the actual bolognese part, this was pretty darn good, but it was overwhelmingly full of tomato sauce. Otherwise, this was tasty but if I were to get this again, I would have to request for them to (somehow) go much lighter on the sauce since it was a lot. As for the garlic bread, he had pretty much put a double order in which was sweet. This was really good as well, and I probably filled up on this more than the pasta. Although my order was on the soupy side, I would definitely come to Italian Express again, possibly trying something different on the menu since they had a lot to choose from. read more

My pasta was a little over cooked, and we had to wait 30 minutes for our two dishes, BUT the taste of the sauce made up for it... enough to still give them 5 stars! The portion was good too, not too much or too little. It's family owned too, so I like supporting them small businesses. Ok this place is by my job so I have only Postmates orders never been inside but this lasagna and chicken and shrimp fettuccine is to die for The lasagna is very meaty. The sauce is very meaty. THEY ARE FINALLY OPEN INSIDE!!!! Ever since covid they have had their inside seating closed and after a long 4 year wait the inside is finally open for the holiday and on indefinitely. This is my favorite Italian spot ever and the inside seating is so cool with the windows seating coming out close to the sidewalk at a point with the perfect view of your street parked ride. Always open late, pandemic, riot, catastrophe, rain or shine, they will always be here to serve home made Italian dishes late into the night and into the wee hours of the morning. read more

We went there at like 10pm and nobody else was inside. we thought it was closed at first but the owner was incredibly welcoming and frequently checked in on us to make sure if we needed anything. the food was incredible, and he even provided us a complimentary tray garlic bread (which was also delicious). the interior is very comfortable and clean. the outside was also gorgeous, with lush greenery and outside dining. 10/10 recommend if you enjoy italian cuisine. read more

I'm not going to lie, the garlic bread was a little thin and possible a little over baked for my liking. The pasta was massive! An entree to feed 2 and still have left overs. Very accessible parking around the area and there's a couple other restaurants near it if you're looking for safety and a new date night place. Based on a delivery order. Chose due t availability at the time of a Saturday night. Chicken Parm with Pink sauce was tasty however not sure if that was what I received as Chicken Parm with Spaghetti is another option. Chicken comes as a breaded however sauce was heavy and coated the breast filet, hard to tell how the breading was. Cheese was browned rather than just melted. Arrabiatta Penne was tasty as well, not too strong spicy just good level and the basil mixed in was a nice touch. Added Fried Eggplant to the penne aside from an appetizer of fried zucchinni. Veggies are sliced thin but portions kept within reason. Penne was very soft almost over cooked. Spaghetti was just right. Marinara taste good. Will try more. read more
