Brisket meal...and they ask you which parts of the brisket you'd like.

Absolutely delicious!!! Lord!!! It was a huge surprise! I was planning for my daughter pre-wedding retreat and decided to try them. I'm so glad I did. I order a plate to taste. Baby! I tasted the green beans, and the brisket and sausage! I immediately placed my order. Everyone loved the food. The ambiance is casual, and they also offer blues. Customer service was awesome. I forgot somethings and they assisted me from the curb, which was so appreciated. They are my new favorite for good food!!! My family kept asking where I got the BBQ from.

OMG! If you love BBQ and I mean real BBQ and not what some places try to pass off as BBQ then you absolutely must try this place! It looks a little "Divey" but the food is anything but. They have not pork and beef ribs both are so tender and juicy and fall off the bone good you'll have eaten an entire rack before you know it! The brisket is is my absolute favorite, they will ask at order of you want "regular or wet" wet= a little fat in it, but minimal and it is just enough to make it the best I've ever had and almost rivals my cousins (but don't tell him I said that!) They also serve a macaroni and cheese that is to die for... seriously! They have a dessert called Mississippi Butter Cake *insert combo cross-eye/eye-roll, that is soooooo delicious you'll be glad it's served in portions, but save room cause you have got to try it! This visit, I usually use the drive through, I decided to eat inside, as I stated above it seems a bit divey, but it's clean and there's plenty of seating. There's a long table at both front windows so you can sit and watch the crazy drivers. They also have some great music going, blues and such from the 40's to the 60's. And the service is always friendly and as fast they can when serving cooked to order. This IS a MUST TRY even if you're not in the area! And wear stretchy pants cause you're gonna need them! Happy eating!

The meal filled me up, service was smooth. Flavors were ordinary, making it a fair three-star review.

ALWAYS clean restaurant, restroom and parking lot. Very friendly and attentive staff. TVs on sports and if music is on, it's blues. Neither are loud nor intrusive, so conversation is easy. I'm a HUGE fan of their baked potato, the biggest I've ever seen. ALWAYS tender all the way through and the toppings of your choice are generous. I have a pretty good appetite, but I can only manage half a spud in one sitting. Although IT'S RIBS also offers an extensive menu of sandwiches and sides, my heart (and stomach!) belong to their fantastic baked potato!

    Nice cold drink selection

Good and great pricing! Rib tips had a little too much cartilage pieces for me but the chopped brisket was great.

Love it great service macaroni cheesy and soft and the rib sandwich is soft I recommend food was great, and ambience is amazing gives me old bbq shack vibes

Brisket on my potato had a lot of fat and was very squishy, tasted like meat jello... waste of money

Let's start with the positive; the drive-thru service, baked beans, and texas toast was good. I ordered chicken, moist brisket, and regular sausage and all of it was tasteless; no seasoning at all. The sausage tasted like vienna sausage on steroids. The brisket doesn't look like brisket; it has to be another meat they're passing off as brisket and it had a bad smell. And the chicken, I asked for dark meat and I honestly don't know what I got. The potato salad was not made in-house; it was grainy and very mushy, like it had been traveling for days in the sun! I did taste the brisket and "vienna sausage" but, not much because visions of an ER visit kept popping up in my head warning me not to eat anymore. This disaster costed me $23 and some change. Hopefully, my trash will like it. I totally wasted my money! The pictures show exactly how my food came to me.

My sister recommended this place to me since I love ribs, and they had some amazing baked potatoes when she used to go there. After showing my sister what we got, she was like, "No, they changed" lol. They no longer have beef ribs due to the increased prices on that meat. It didn't taste like freshly cooked food. We were really hungry, but still thru most of it in the trash. Not sure what happened but I was not impressed

It's Ribs is the best rib place in town. We love their St Louis ribs because they are meaty, good size,, delicious and better and cheaper than other BBQ places we've been to. A full slab of ribs (12) is $26.95 & half rack is $14.95. We also like their green beans, baked beans and Cole slaw. We will try their other meats like brisket, chicken and sausage sometime soon.

The chicken wasn't cooked well. Pink and bloody inside. The sides and gumbo was good.

Servers inside were constantly cleaning tables and available to get to go boxes and lids if needed. The meat was literally fall off the bone tender and juicy. Everything was Smokey and flavored wonderfully. My number one: the Mac and cheese! I dont know something about an amazing side took me away. Most places can't do a mac the way i like it, but the cheese stayed moist and creamy and the noodles were tender. the flavor was phenomenal. all of the meats were tender and fall off the bone and juicy. Perfectly juicy, tender, and packed with smoky flavor. But what really puts this place over the top is the tater tot casserole. Great sides can make the meal, and this one absolutely does. It's ridiculously good... like I'd happily eat an entire bowl of just the casserole. We ordered the brisket, pork ribs, beef rib, both sausages, and, of course, a whole lot of tater tot casserole. While you're waiting in line, they hand out samples of the brisket so you can decide whether you want lean or fatty. Fatty all day for me. The beef rib was massive and had an incredible smoky flavor, but low-key, I think the sausages ended up being my favorite meat of the day. They were juicy, flavorful, and didn't get overshadowed by everything else. We got there around 11:00 a.m. on a Saturday and waited about an hour in line. It sounds long, but they make it easy with water and drinks available for purchase while you wait. The number secures your spot in line but don't worry if you show up and they run out, there's a spot on the porch where the non-number line starts. We ordered moist brisket, garlic sausage, and the beef rib. For sides, we went with mac and cheese and beans. Everything was superb! The brisket melted in your mouth, no knife needed. The sausage had a nice snap to it and get great flavor. The bark on the beef rib was *chef's kiss*. The mac and cheese was creamy while the beans had a nice sweet and tangy flavor. It was fairly hot outside but they had fans along the patio to give relief. The inside of the restaurant is not large but also not small, its first come first serve so get in where you fit in or opt to sit outside. I arrived to the front of the line around 12pm so it took about an hour of waiting in line. Ordering was smooth and it took no time for the food to be ready. Staff were friendly, and service was speedy. I ordered brisket(moist), pulled pork sandwich, mac n cheese, potato salad, beans, apple cobbler, and a baked potato. The potato salad was a pleasant surprise! It is not your traditional potato salad, but If you enjoy anything dill flavored, you'd love it! The brisket was moist and flavorful, melt in your mouth good!!! The other sides were just okay, not bad but nothing stood out. The cobbler was a bit too sweet and it did not seem as though the ingredients were mixed very well. It was like they dumped sugar on top and baked it without mixing it. Pulled pork sandwich was meaty and flavorful. Pretty good BBQ Experience!!!

After doing my research and seeing food bloggers post online about this place, I decided to try it! We went on a Saturday afternoon at 2 pm - packed! There were no tables available inside and there were people inside and outside waiting for their orders. That's something to be ready for if you come on a Saturday. Our order didn't actually take that long. Or maybe it took a little while and we didn't mind waiting. Either way, it wasn't that bad! Luckily it's located in a shopping area so there's always parking. My main gripe is that they close at 7pm. I'm sure there's a good reason for that but I've wanted to try it multiple times before but they've been closed! I ended up going with the infamous brisket and fried rice. The brisket was super tender - I was able to pull it apart with my fork. I typically shy away from brisket because usually it's tough. But this was delicious - tender and had a nice smoky flavor. Not overwhelming or too salty. The rice had a great flavor too. There were chunks of meat in that as well and the rice had a nice smoky flavor. Not too salty or greasy. It also came with some accoutrements - pickled onions, fresh pickled cucumbers, jalapeños, bbq sauce and bread. The cucumbers and onions stole the show - very fresh and refreshing. We were surprised at the pickled onions - they were soo good! Overall - worth the hype! I'll definitely be back to try ribs, chicken or pulled pork sandwich. I heard everything is good here!!

The sausage had a great bite to it. Although we felt the brisket was lacking, the fried rice, chicken and sausage made up for it. If we're back in the area, would love to try other items on their menu but probably won't go out of the way for it.

You can ask to see the piece of rib before they cut it for you and they will happily oblige (patrons behind you might not be so thrilled with that move, but they'll live). Sides were excellent as were the mashed potatoes with white gravy on the side, green beans that were just tender enough, but also a bit crunchy. Perfect. They were seasoned with pork, so if that's not your thing, you might want to skip it. We also ordered their shareable onion rings, easily enough for three people that were huge, hot, and crispy. Let's get this out of the way, some of their prices are a little up there, but if you're anything like me, and don't frequent BBQ places often, it's a rare but enjoyable treat. Sometimes you have to splurge and live a little. Also, they have their regular sauce on tables, but you now have to ask the cashier for their sublime coffee BBQ sauce. Don't be shy, ask. It's worth it. Oh, pro tip: If you want beef ribs, the 'plate' is actually cheaper and a better deal than 'by the pound', so save a little money and get two sides.

I arrived around 5:35 PM, about 25 minutes before closing, and ordered 1/2 lb of brisket and 1/2 lb of ribs. The brisket was $17, and unfortunately it was extremely greasy and so overcooked that the meat had become mushy. It still had good flavor, but the texture was nothing like the brisket I've normally gotten here. Judging by what I received, it felt like I may have gotten what was left at the end of the day. The ribs were $12, and my "1/2 lb" consisted of two individual ribs. They tasted good, but they weren't nearly as tender as I've had here before. I paid about $29 just for the meat, and for that price I expected much better quality and portioning. I understand that I came close to closing time, but I still paid full price and should receive the same quality of food as any other customer. If the brisket is past its best or there isn't enough left to make a proper order, I'd rather be told that so I can order something else. I'm not writing the place off because they've been good to me many times before. But this particular order was definitely not up to their usual standard, and the pictures speak for themselves.

Authentic Texas Barbecue. Very good food, and awesomely messy. Got the pulled pork, brisket,…read moresausage, and other meats. All were well seasoned and the sauce was incredible. Sides were ok, rice was incredibly well seasoned but the Mac and cheese was a bit underwhelming. I think the only thing would be the cost; quite pricey for barbecue. Additionally the service was pretty good - friendly staff who were more than willing to help. Very busy in the restaurant - definitely seemed like a staple in the community. Every table had paper towels, and while some of the tables were a little dirty, we were able to find a clean table to eat at.

I had been craving BBQ for a couple weeks and decided to give the pit room a try. My husband had…read morebeen here before for work and he enjoyed it so I decided to try! The environment is super cool, plenty of seating, a bar, private rooms, a dessert bar. I enjoyed the atmosphere, but the workers spoke Spanish to each other the whole time until it was time to check out, so there wasn't much engagement. Which lead to a mix up of my order that we had to fix. What we are all here for, the FOOD: Chicken: Very juicy, tender, basic chicken, a great portion. I was grossed out by the amount of blood under the skin. (I KNOW it's an animal with blood but I've never had bbq with that amount of blood on the meat) but I'm not penalizing them for it. Def 7/10! Brisket: Super tender, melted in the mouth, great taste. 8/10 Green beans: Not greasy, tender (not mushy or undercooked). I think they may have spilled the seasoning into the batch they main because holy moly, a TON of pepper and salt. I'm heavy handed with my seasonings but that amount didn't seem intentional. I'd never thought I'd say this but the flavor would've been great with less seasoning. 5/10 Mac&cheese: Nothing special but definitely better than most bbq spots. I enjoy the texture and light flavor 7/10 Elote: Yummy but where's the beloved cilantro?! 8/10 Cornbread: Great flavor, not dry, and had jalapeno peppers in it! Super yummy 9/10. My only thing too, they had only 2 bbq sauce options, a bourbon coffee and their house bbq. To me, they were not good at all. I was extremely disappointed in that. Other bbq spots have like 8 different bbq sauces

The Pit Room - Memorial - One of my favorite BBQ spots in Houston. Pork ribs, brisket, beef rib, turkey, venison sausage.
