This is the type of place that I imagine when people talk about a cute little local place for a nice nightcap. I felt very adult (haha) and the atmosphere was super cool. The staff was very kind. My only complaint was the prices, but they were still within reason. I enjoyed everything I got! The Paella was good, the Cheese Platter was standard, and someone I went with ordered the beet salad. I don't choose to eat beets, but holy cow?! The beet salad was delicious and opened me to the world of beets. Would recommend this place, staff is super kind! This place is soooooooo gooooood! I came across it randomly when I was in West Seattle and so glad I did. Cozy little restaurant and bar and can sit outside too on nice days. The food is amazing! I got 2 orders of the meatballs and just wolfed them down like the wolf of wallstreet. Very delicious and flavorful with good spices/seasoning. I also got the little lamb burger and also ate that like a wolf that has been roaming the prairie for months. I wanted to howl at the moon. Good drinks too! I got the Moroccan meatballs and the Moorish Boquerones but I was just utterly unimpressed. Good thing my friend and I ordered some drinks and we were busy talking so we didn't care much about the food so we still had a good time. They weren't even busy when we went there but service was pretty slow. It was such a great combination and the dishes are so unique compared to your usual fare. I loved everything that we ordered except for the Paella (surprisingly, because I love paella). I loved their beef tenderloin and their eggplant! But we made the mistake of ordering some more bread (to go with the rest of the protein), but it was $4 for 2 small slabs!! That's just cray! Cozy vibe - go early to get a seat! We love to walk here after a tasting at Welcome Road Winery for dinner. Itto's is probably in our top 2-3 for great food in West Seattle. The lamb lollipops, grilled squid and harissa veggies are my favorites but I'm always finding new dishes that I love. Gluten free options are plentiful and clearly marked. Unique wines and lots of fun cocktails make for a fun date night. Servers are friendly and they've graciously accommodated our dogs at patio tables. read more

I don't usually go and eat tapas much. So my bias opinion will weigh as much as a grain of salt or less. But here is my experience. Itto's Tapas, a smallish dining room with bar seating, but nicely decorated. I can see why people would complain about it being 'tight'. Just be mindful and don't get in a group larger then 4. The food: Zaalook ($6): eggplant and tomato spread on a baguette Beef Tenderloin Tapas ($14) : grilled beef, roasted potatoes, demi glace, & infused truffle oil Spanash Paella ($15): Seafood and meat Rabbit Mrozia ($15) : roasted pulled rabbit blended spiced with raisins served with a heavy dose of olive tapanade and 2 toasted baguette slices. The winner for me was definitely the Beef Tenderloin. Would go back just for that. Over all the other dishes were good. The rabbit was a surprise but beautifully presented in a mini tagine. A great experience to try out if you're in the area. Would I go back? No. Only because I can't justify them charging us $2 for 2 thin toasted pieces of extra baguette. If you're going to serve a dish (the rabbit) that requires an edible vehicle (baguette) to transport the goods into my mouth, I should hope that you give me more then just 2 pieces of baguette and not charge me $1 a piece for more. Heck, a WHOLE baguette doesn't even cost that much to buy anywhere. And if they do charge over $4 then then it better be freakin amazing. read more

Came for a quick bite on a Thursday evening. My BF and I was red to catch the late night happy hour, but it doesn't start until 11pm! We settled for two dishes to share and drinks. I love the low lighting, full bar, dark interior design. Service was great for a late evening and tapas came out quick. Stuffed Dates: Eggplant dates stuff with goat cheese was absolutely fantastic. The eggplant had a smoky, Unami taste too it, balanced by the creamy goat cheese and thick date. This dish was so rich and so delicious with every bite. Zaalook: This dish was too salty and oily in my opinion, but the baguette had a great crunch too then. Overall, Itto's Tapas is a great date night spot, however I wished their late night happy hour was earlier. Tapas and drink prices were steep in my opinion. read more

Exceptional cocktails, yummy vegan options, and a whole sidewalk clubhouse for the COVID cautious - with heaters! It's like a fort, but with table service and heaters hanging from the ceiling. To top it off, they have the best servers, like Izzy, who made our whole meal about ten times more fun, made an excellent wine recommendation, and had supernaturally good timing. read more

My wife and I went to Itto's last night after nearly a year. My first thought after leaving was, "why the heck has it taken us this long to come back here!?". The food is magical. I can be a very hard critic and hard to please when it comes to food. Itto's blew me away last night! We started with Makooda and the croquettes, very light and tasty. Then came the meatballs and the Chicken Bastella, Very tasty! Then ended with the Beef Tenderloin. The beef was cooked to absolute perfection and had a truffle/wine glaze on it that was unreal. 5/5 stars for this spot, best place in West Seattle hands down. read more

We've had a few service hiccups on very busy days - you can tell they are understaffed when it looks like what might be the owner has jumped in to help- but it's not the servers themselves but the sheer volume of people on those days. One of my favorite tapas restaurants. Went on a weekend to have lunch. We were confused if the place is open for sit in dining, they are actually. Very limited seating though which is good. They also provide hand sanitizer. 5 star for that. All the food we ordered were awesome, except Paella. It was ok. Have had better than this. We also ordered lamb skewers which was too good. It comes with eggplant sauce kinda thing. Finger licking good! Would like to come back again. There are so many items want to try! Only issue is west seattle bridge is closed, so commute is kind of an issue right now. read more

Freaking love Itto's! Their tapas are incredible, and the flavors blow me away every time. Been coming here a long time now and can highly recommend the Zaalook, beef tenderloin, scallops, lamb brochette. The beet salad is also great! I don't even like beets, but I love the way Itto's prepares this beet salad, and it's essential as a palate cleanser as you work your way through all the tapas. The lamb burger, Maakooda, and stuffed dates are also good. Ok I mean, you can't really go wrong with anything on the menu! Just get yourself to Itto's already! The two co-owners, brothers who started the restaurant in honor of their mother, are friendly, really care, and personally came out to check on us. And in addition to excellent COVID-friendly service, they offer delivery, which I'll be sure to try next time I'm craving Itto's but feeling lazy to leave the house ;) read more

Oh my gosh, I do not know why this is not on our weekly rotation. It is now. (Ok at least monthly). We have been here a few times now and it's always delicious but tonight was especially delicious!! Here's what you need to know: this place is small. Like very small. They have happy hour from 4-5, which we did not make it in time for BUT all of their food seems like happy hour prices and is very reasonable. Don't bring your big groups here though. We ordered: Harissa Vegetable of the day (we always do) which tonight was cauliflower. At first I was disappointed it was cauliflower but then I immediately was NOT disappointed. It was SO. Stinkin. Delicious. The combo with sun dried tomato was stellar. ($7) We always order the lamb kebobs and tonight they were extra stellar. 3 kebabs, perfect to share for 2 or 3 people. We couldn't decide between the paella and the octopus. Our server steered us toward the octopus and she was not wrong. So he did, perfect portion and accompaniments. ($15) We also ordered the wild king salmon special ($15) which was served with beat aioli, potatoes and Spanish vinaigrette. It was at least a 4oz portion of salmon, cooked absolutely perfectly (flaky but juicy) and felt like a steal. Honestly though- service wasn't super friendly, but I'm looking past it since the food was so delicious. Hopefully, in the future service will show more effort. read more

I was craving tapas and Itto's showed up as the top ranked eatery in Seattle on Yelp. The long trek from Capitol Hill to West Seattle to get takeout was worthwhile. Moroccan Chicken: A delightfully stew packed with flavor. Meat was cooked to perfection. Mixed Paella: A perfect balance of protein and rice. They do not skimp on the meat and seafood.The flavor profile of paella is different to what I had in various parts of Spain. Perhaps there's a Moroccan spin to the dish? Still delicious. Croquettes: my favourite dish of all. I would return solely for these. Potato croquettes aren't the most exciting but Itto's croquettes are uniquely amazing. Makooda (Moroccan potato patty) : A little soggy but likely not at the fault of the restaurant since we had a 35 minute drive home before eating. The white wine recommendation from the staff was absolutely perfect! Crisp and light. Ask for their Turkish wine if you're looking to pick up a bottle. read more

A lovely find in West Seattle. Legit Tapas with lots of flavor and delicious dishes that you won't find at most restaurants. Tapas is a term that's thrown around as a buzzword as of late, but this is a legit version of that word and not some Applebee's type place passing it off. We got several dishes as you can see from my photos, we loved everything that we ordered and left very satisfied. I love these types of restaurants as you can try so much and get a good sense of what the cuisine really is. This is definitely a place where you share food, that way you can try the menu without getting overwhelmed. It's all very delicious and remember sharing is caring! read more

Not sure what was up with the wait staff tonight, but I've rarely felt less welcomed in a restaurant. Arrived later in the evening and were seated in the bench seats instead of one of the two available window booths. The waiter explained to us that they like to seat larger parties there. Thanks Buddy. You'll be waiting for that crowd for a long moment- if you keep talking to your customers like that. This is husband and I's fave spot for local date nights. The ambiance is romantic and the restaurant is tiny so perfect for two. We've miraculously never had to wait for a table and the food is amazing. We've tried probably everything on the menu except the paella and have enjoyed everything. One of the best happy hour spots on this end of town. You feel like you stumbled into a local cafe in a small country town with the same charm, service, and high quality ingredients you find in the non-touristy parts of southern Europe. The stuffed dates are to die for, Moroccan meat balls and the burger too, and everyone loved the zaalook (think a bruschetta with spiced roasted eggplant) and the dolmas. I've been wanting to come here for a long time and finally chose it for a night out with my mom and sister. Unfortunately, we found the experience a bit disappointing. I don't know if the vibe was just off that night, but we came in on a weeknight when there were barely any other patrons and they led the three of us to a small two top in the corner that would have been a tight squeeze and uncomfortable for my older mother. When I asked if we could sit at one of the open larger tables (and assured our server we wouldn't stay too long so they'd have it back for a larger party when they needed it), she accommodated but in a very begrudging way that just sort of set the vibe off for the rest of our visit. It just felt like we were an imposition. I ordered a cocktail and it was delicious. No real complaints about the food. We only had a few smaller plates - beet salad, croquettes and stuffed dates - they were all good but the croquettes left me a bit underwhelmed. We would have tried other dishes but the music was so blaring that we decided to resume our evening elsewhere. My sister and I both have a lot of experience in hospitality and would have been mortified to ask a restaurant to turn down their music, but it was honestly so loud that I can't see how staff didn't realize it was excessive. We really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after a while of having to shout to hear each other, we decided to get the check. I may return in the future, but would likely just grab a cocktail and sit at an outside table. read more

Coming down the hill from the junction, there are a ton of good options for food though here. Itto's is a nice choice for snacks that can turn into a meal if you keep ordering, and a great option for drinks to go along with it. They have a small corner space right on the main drag, with some bistro tables on the sidewalk and along one wall. There's a big bar taking up most of the room, with a kitchen behind that preparing hot and room-temp tapas. We checked out the sangria, which was very good. They serve it with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top in mismatched vintage glasses. It got to be a bit sweet for me after a while but it's very appealing. We had the boquerones, which is anchovies on sliced bread with peppers and oil. This is a great snack, though it's a knife and fork deal 'cause of all the heavy sauces on top and on the plate. The dolmas were great too. They have an awesome happy hour with quite a few interesting dishes on the list, running weekend afternoons.
