When I'm craving tacos there are honestly so many places to choose from, but sometimes nothing hits quite like Jack in the Box tacos. I used to absolutely love when they had the Monster Tacos, and I'm still sad those disappeared, but even the regular tacos still somehow satisfy that very specific craving. My order is always the same: two tacos, no cheese, with buttermilk ranch on the side. Something about dipping them in ranch just works. Crispy, greasy, questionable in the best possible way, and somehow exactly what you wanted. This is definitely one of those nostalgia comfort food spots for me. Not fancy, not authentic tacos, but sometimes that's not the craving at all. Helpful tip: Ask for the buttermilk ranch on the side for dipping. Trust me on this one. When Jack-in-the-Box brought the chicken supreme back, although they re-introduced a cheaper quality version, I hadn't had one in so many years I didn't mind. The only reason I returned to Jack-in-the-Box after 20 or so years was because of the return of the chicken supreme. It was only around for a short time, but in that time I accrued enough money for a free sandwich. I went this morning to purchase 60 tacos in preparation to feed the homeless. I don't recall the guys name or the cooks in the back once I ordered the tacos. They were so blessing I gave him $60 did not calculate the price the person working there paid the difference, being humble knowing we're feeding the homeless His contribution will go along way they prepare the meals as I asked put three tacos in each bag. They put napkins, hot sauce everything they got boxes put in there neatly and its bags and even he help me put it in my car said God bless you Customer service, generosity, humble kindness was so amazing to see today. The team did a families job and I appreciate them. Consistency is an issue at this Jack in the box. I generally find myself visiting this restaurant for a late night snack. One thing I've learned is to make absolutely sure that everything I've ordered is in the bag. Line has a tendency to be long late at night but moves surprisingly quickly. The food consistency has been good and haven't really had a problem with their menu. Generally I stay with item staples but I'll say the quality of the spicy chicken has fallen throughout the years. My brother was excited to come here since he flew in from Michigan yesterday. Turned out to be a double fail lol. They only have drive thru and there was a van parked there to do repairs. I called to see how to order and they said they can't.
