My go to spot when I'm around the judiciary square area for breakfast. NY style deli but also has grits and biscuits. Corned beef always hits the spot. They also make fresh sandwiches. I would recommend the sausage, egg, and cheese, on a croissant. Can't go wrong with a bagel either.

The food was delicious but the cooks really need to learn the English Language better for taking orders. They ended up getting my order wrong to the point another worker had to tell them in Spanish what I wanted. That was frustrating but they ended up getting the order correct & it was very good. Recommended go if your in Washington D.C.

Cute Deli in the city. They open early! Short walk from Judiciary Square. They have breakfast in the am. Coffee and more. I just got a beverage so I cannot really review the food but it sure did smell good. Lots of in and out clients. They sell milk and half and half for all those who have offices near by.

This sandwich is really good. I wanted to eat inside but they were closing so we had to leave. 5/5 for the food. Roast beef is something I never seen before and corn beef mixed with pastrami was delicious. Jacks Famous Deli Washington, DC https://youtu.be/OVtPNuPOzpU

This Jack's Famous Deli location on 3rd Street in DC is a great option for delicious food that is well prepared. I really like the location and everything that they have available here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need.

I seriously regret wasting my $6 on a "hot dog" and room temperature potato wedges. The woman behind the deli counter doesn't even make eye contact with you or greet you. You have to get her attention to get your order in. Needless to say, I'm not coming back.

Great little place with a deli and buffet just north of Chinatown. The Cloak and Dagger was terrific and whatever chips and drinks your heart desires. At ~$10 it's around what you can expect to spend on a hearty lunch in the area.

Great breakfast and lunch spot. The sandwiches are phenomenal. Turkey Rueben is delicious but gotta say, the chicken salad sandwich was sooooo good. Had to stop mid eating to take a photo and post a review. Super friendly staff as well.

Jack's has awesome chicken soup! Big chunks of real chicken, not too salty, bow tie noodles. Excellent.

All the way down to the mayo wallpaper in the restroom! As a Dukes Mayo fan, that's awesome! To the food and drink. We had a pickle soda and local sour beer. Both were great and tasty on a hot day. We had three various appetizers from the cool ranch onion rings to the Seattle fries with a mix of dope beet salad in there. All were good, the onion rings were definitely my favorite and judging by all the orders I saw around, it was everyone else's as well. The mains were the RPG and the fish special. The RPG was a bit heavy on the mayo, next time would ask for less mayo but it was still delicious as a char su pork fan. This hit the mark. The fish sandwich was tangy and spicy which made it delicious. It was a bit messy and the bun didn't hold up great but that didn't detract from the flavors. All in all this place is a gem of a sandwich shop / bar. Would recommend if you are in the area.

The food was good. The hot nug sandwich had a nice tangy taste. Not too spicy and was very manageable. I'd had lived more spicy but the flavors were still very satisfying. The fries were great too. I really enjoyed the sauces and couldn't stop eating them. I'd definitely recommend Thai place if you are looking for a good sandwich and a quick bite!

Most people order their sandwiches to go. The line can get pretty long, but you get through at a decent pace, I wouldn't say fast. Simple and straightforward ordering process, just remember what you ordered because they don't take names. I go between the Crunchy Boi and the Marisa Tomei Eats Free, which are both great. The Crunchy Boi is probably their most popular sandwich and it's lighter than you would think considering it's filled with potato chips. I think it's worth trying once. The Marisa Tomei, on the other hand, has never failed me. It's balanced with an absurd amount of arugula against the meat, and it's never dry. The portions are generous, like you could definitely split it into two meals, but they're not so heavy that you couldn't finish a sandwich in one sitting.

The combination of meats, peppers, and Cholula mayo was delicious. Just a heads up, this place gets very busy around lunchtime, so I'd recommend ordering ahead for pickup or being prepared to wait a little. There's also limited seating inside. Overall, a great sandwich and I'll definitely be back.

On the weekends, there's a speakeasy in the back, which a lot of people don't expect since it looks like just a sandwich shop from the outside. That alone makes it a fun spot to pull up to if you're looking for something a little different. The vibe really starts picking up around 11 p.m. into midnight, so this is more of a late-night move than an early one. Mikey, the owner, who also works the door, is super friendly and always welcoming. The rest of the staff is cool as well, which honestly makes a big difference when it comes to the overall experience. Every time I've come here, the energy has been right and I've ended up having a good night. If you're looking for a low-key but lively late-night spot Caoo Deli is definitely worth checking out.

Both were done on Italian bread with sesame seeds (love). Ingredients were fresh and well filled. The tuna salad had mayo, celery, onions, lettuce and tomatoes. It had cheese which I don't care for but I was so hungry I didn't mind it. Was curious about the speakeasy doorway but too tired to venture in, next time! There were a lot of delivery drivers picking up orders so it took a while for me to place my order. Wish they'd have a separate order area apart from pickup. I wanted to eat there but it was way too chaotic with security, delivery drivers and people coming in and out of speakeasy door. The Portfino sandwich hit the spot and bursting with flavor in every bite! The sandwich was stuffed with a heap of veggies (mushrooms, peppers, onions, arugula) with goat cheese and topped with lemon aioli, delicious! The Monaco roasted veggie sandwich is very flavorful! The sandwich was stuffed with fried eggplant, grilled zucchini, stracciatella, tomato, arugula and roasted red pepper spread. The Parmigiano sandwich with eggplant was more like a Caprese sandwich with fresh mozzarella cheese, greens, tomato, and crispy thinly sliced eggplant stuffed between scrumptious moist Focaccia bread. This isn't a traditional sloppy Joe's Eggplant Parm sandwich (there's no marinara sauce!) While the ingredients were neatly tucked inside and I enjoyed the sandwich, the sandwich particularly was a little bit dry and I think a bit of sauce like pesto or marinara would go a long way. The Nutella Brownie is best eaten at room temperature, it tastes chewy and pretty awful cold. Let it thaw.
