Great place for drinks and food on Harbour Island, downtown Tampa. The restaurant offers indoors and outdoor dining options with water views. Jackson's seems to draw a pretty good crowd for Happy Hour. I wish Happy hour was a bit longer because service seemed a bit slow. The staff were great. The bartenders were great to talk too. The meatballs were OK. They were super salty. The kimchi fried rice with crab was awesome. I can have that anytime with any meal. The old fashion was on par. I will definitely visit Jackson's again when I am in the area.

Outside bar is fantastic! Great bartenders and better cocktails, a little pricey at $16 per drink. The sushi was delicious had 3 great rolls! Overall a terrific experience, I'm coming back!

Love the view from this spot! I had the Harbour Island Roll ($19.50) which was fresh and delicious. I also ordered a seasonal Samuel Adams beer ($9.00) that was very cold. The service was amazing... No complaints here.

Florida Tampa today for work stopped at this restaurant, beautiful atmosphere outside seating next to the bay. The white staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The menu. Oyster on the half shell were fresh and nice size. My old-fashioned drink was made with perfection, but did not have smoked flavored. I ordered the shrimp and lobster gnocchi. It was really good very flavorful and a very nice portion size.

Has indoor and outdoor seating. Spacious place by the water, plenty of seats. Staff are extremely kind and attentive! - Wild hibiscus cocktail: 10/10, purple sugar rim was a nice touch. Drink was smooth and fruity, not overly sweet. - Oysters: 10/10, apparently they have their own farm where they source their oysters up in the northeast. - Hot honey chicken sandwich: 3/10. Not hot in anyway, just honey chicken... Overly sweet, hard to finish... Disappointed by my entree because it was recommended by several employees and I clarified whether it was hot, since I wanted a hot honey chicken sandwich :/ I'd come again and try the other dishes. Will post updates if I do.

We decided to go to this spot while we waited for our flight time. They took us right away and let us store our luggage in the room. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. The weather was perfect. Our waiter was pretty cool. The food was decent. I got the grouper sandwich. It had good flavor. The bun was good too. The fries were just fries.. nothing special. They came out cold but he brought out a few more warm ones. I ordered a side car. It was pretty good but didn't realize it over 20$. So cool spot to just chill at.

Drinks were the highlight, next to the view.

Reading the menu everything sounds good and looks good ... needed a touch more seasoning for my taste. But drinks were yummy, view was perfect but service was in the toilet. They brought our sushi out without any chopsticks, soy or cups to mix wasabi and soy in! By the time the server got back - the cream cheese in the roll had melted. Not sure if you've had warm cream cheese on salmon. Yeah no bueno. And they need to bring back the patio umbrellas.

Lovely restaurant that had good food, service and beautiful holiday atmosphere. The grouper and lump crab entree were very good. We also ordered a couple of desserts that were delicious as well. The location is very convenient if you are staying at a nearby hotel where you can easily walk over the bridge to get to the restaurant. I'm happy we got to try this restaurant, which is much better than going to American Social next door, which was loud and service was very slow there.

Jacksons Bar and Bistro in Tampa absolutely crushed their New Years event. It was beyond a blast from start to finish. The vibe was fun and energetic, the people were friendly, and the fireworks were amazing. The drinks were strong and delicious all night. The food was just alright and did taste a bit frozen, so I would mainly come for drinks. We had a very random assortment of sushi, wontons, and meatballs, which was fun but not the highlight. Overall, it was an awesome place to ring in the New Year with great drinks, great energy, and an unforgettable fireworks show.

It's a really clean place, big in size, with good service but mediocre food. The waterfront views and good service sort overcome the mediocre food. I had a sashimi dish and the fish tasted fresh and the presentation was good but the overall taste and flavor were seriously lacking.

Waterfront dining is usually always a win in my book just for the ambience alone but the food is good here too! The ahi tuna salad and sushi are I just got a classic margarita, which was also very tasty and refreshing being outside in the Florida sunshine.

This is not the first time I've been to Jackson's, and a lot has changed over the years. Ambiance does not feel as classy without the white tablecloths. My wife received a wine glass with lipstick stains, while it was corrected promptly, it's not something I expect from a place like this. Our server was attentive and kept our drinks filled. The highlight of the meal was the hamachi crudo. Thinly sliced fish with a red jalapeno and ponzu was tender and a delicious bite! Sea bass was also cooked well and buttery. They were out of the brussell sprouts so the sea bass came with baby bok choy instead. This was a fine substitution, but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Overall the food was good, but unfortunately the service and ambiance did not live up to the billing and the hefty price tag that this place carries.

Let me be honest: after seeing the 3.5-star average on Yelp, I went to Jackson's kicking, screaming, and mentally drafting my escape plan. But it was the closest restaurant to the convention center, and my legs were already threatening a mutiny, so off we went. And now? I owe Jackson's a formal apology. This place is absolutely beautiful--the kind of waterfront view that makes you start thinking, "Maybe I do need to buy a boat." It's huge, airy, and sits right on the bay like it knows it's gorgeous. The menu is basically the Cheesecake Factory's slimmer, better-looking cousin: burgers, sushi, seafood, you name it. No one can complain here (and trust me, I tried). I started with the salmon nigiri, expecting "3.5-star energy." What I got was something straight out of a high-end Japanese restaurant. Fresh, perfectly sliced, melt-in-your-mouth good. Even the wasabi had its act together--just the right kick without igniting my sinuses. My colleague ordered the spicy salmon roll, and after one bite declared it "the best he's ever had." This is a man who eats sushi the way some people drink coffee: relentlessly and with standards. For our main, we both had the blackened grouper salad, which was tender, flaky, and seasoned like the chef has a vendetta against bland food. Perfection on a plate. It's the kind of dish that makes you forget you came in expecting disappointment. Service? Christian, our server, was attentive, friendly, and on the ball. The manager swung by, also personable, which is rare--most managers only appear when something is on fire or someone is loudly mispronouncing "gnocchi." I'm giving Jackson's five stars, every one of them earned. From a "dragged in against my will" start to a "wow, I need to come back here immediately" finish, this place absolutely exceeded expectations. If Jackson's is a 3.5 on Yelp, then I'm a 6'5'' Olympic gymnast.

Is the buffet brunch only available on sundays? Also do they take reservation?

Yes-their buffet brunch is only available on Sunday. They do take reservations as well.

    How much is Valet parking?

Hi! 2 hours are validated by your server. Bring your receipt that you grab when you enter the garage and the server will sign it and give the first 2 hours free!

Will there be a Christmas brunch this year?

Hi Sam! Thank you for inquiring about our Christmas menu. We will not be featuring our standard Sunday brunch on that day. However, we will be doing a variation of our lunch and dinner menus combined and which also entails some of Chef’s Special…

When do they do brunch or that buffet?

Sunday's but it's not that good and kinda overpriced for the simplistically. But have fun lol give them that money lol

Jackson's has closed...what about our Jackson's Gift Card?

Jackson's is not closed. This rumor was started by a bitter promotions company that lost their ability to work with Jackson's.

There are plenty of televisions viewable from any seat. The seating is mostly bar top or high top. The beer list is clearly visible on chalkboards hanging behind the bar. There are 30 beers on tap so there is plenty to choose from. The menu focuses mostly on sandwiches. There is an entire section dedicated to grilled cheese sandwiches all served on sourdough. I ordered the Tampa Cuban grilled cheese and it was fantastic. The sandwiches are served with a side of kettle chips. I was happy with the variety of beer and the quality of the food. The only negative is that prices are a little high... but it's expected due to the location.
