My purpose here was to seek make-up and accessories, of which they again have a giant inventory. I received great service here. I told them exactly what I was seeking, and within minutes I was given demonstrations and samples of exactly what I wanted - super easy, super fun. When you come here, read all the signs on the doors to find the entrance, as a lot of the doors are locked. The entrance you want is "upstairs" in the back, against the parking lot, the rightmost of all available doors. I was very glad to have re-discovered this store!

He was able to work with the multiple layers of tulle underneath my dress as well as the intricate bead and lacework, which was very impressive. If so, have I got the place for you! While myself and the majority of my bridesmaids are located in Texas, several of my girls are out of state - including my Maid of Honor in NY. My maid of honor opted to buy her gown from Apropos in Albany for convenience. The gown was ordered as the same time as the rest of the bridesmaids' in August. However, come mid-October all of my bridesmaids EXCEPT the one from Apropos are delivered and my maid of honor's dress is nowhere to be found. After advising her to call and check on the dress, my maid of honor was given the run around. Calls were either not taken, messages not returned, and Apropos was all around impossible to get a hold of. Finally, I managed to get a hold of the shop - probably because they didn't have my number on file. I was advised by a woman that she would contact the purchaser (the owner) and call back. Yeah, no call back. My maid of honor got in touch and found out the dress wasn't due to ship until December 1. WHAT? In what world does a dress ordered in August for a December 18 wedding not ship until the 1st? I called right away and got in touch with the owner who proceeded to berate me and raise her voice to me. She insisted that I just didn't understand how bridesmaids dress ordering worked, that these weren't off the rack dresses - they were made to order. As if with 7 total bridesmaids and my own gown I had no idea that these weren't stock items. When I clarified that yes, I understood the dress needed to be made but that my other girls had ordered at the same time and all received their gowns from the local shop in Texas she became defensive. She insisted that because of my maid of honor's size the dress had to be further customized. Never mind that my bridesmaids are all shapes and sizes and a similarly sized bridesmaid had received her order. When I told her, given the negative reviews on Yelp, Google, and The Knot that I was not entirely trusting when she said 'It'll be here!' she told me that the other frantic brides and bridesmaids who left reviews were 'crazy'. I'm not kidding. I'm almost certain that my maid of honor's dress was not even ordered until she called to check on it. Don't go here. Your wedding should not have this amount of stress and no one deserves to be treated so rudely.

Men's Wearhouse works perfectly since it allowed him to get measured and order the rental locally, but pick it up near where the wedding will be, out of state. The process was super easy and didn't take very long. We were greeted by someone almost immediately after walking in, and he was the same person who went through the whole rental/measurement process with us. There are lots of options, but he made it very easy. Asked a few different questions for add-ons that were available, i.e. vest, shoes, cummerbund, etc. I would highly recommend Men's Wearhouse when looking for a tux rental.

The meeting was held in the classroom at the bundle store. At the meeting I met Amber, owner of the bundle store, and a Slingbabies leader. She was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about baby wearing. She gave me all the help I needed. After the meeting I poked around looking at the store. As a new mom, it was so fun just to look at everything she has there. Organic toys, clothing. Beautiful baby carriers, slings, and wraps. A cloth diapering section. Lots of items clearly handmade by independent vendors. Beautiful muslin receiving blankets. Natural remedies for diaper rash and teething, nipple creams. If I had a million dollars I'd by 3 of almost everything at this store. Now, the bundle store is all about quality, and often that means the prices are steeper, but you can tell you're getting really special stuff there! The staff is all knowledgeable about breastfeeding and baby wearing. They want to be part of a new mom's support system. The store offers classes- I took the musical baby class but there are lots to choose from, many of them focused on educating moms, but also prenatal yoga and fun stuff too. My music class was a blast! Amber, the store owner, knows everything about baby wearing and she really wants to help others learn about this awesomely helpful practice. I had a friend from out of state contact her when she needed advice about what carrier might be right for a specific need. Amber recommended a carrier that her store doesn't have in stock! She has an online store and could have easily recommended a carrier she could have sold, but she wanted to recommend what was best for my friend even if it meant she wasn't going to profit. Amber also does fittings for her nursing bras she sells there (and maternity clothes). My best nursing bra is from The Bundle Store. So in a nutshell- every mom within the capital district could benefit from a relationship with this store. Especially if you are interested in babywearing, breastfeeding, cloth diapering or using green/natural toys and remedies, you've simply got to get over there.
