An okay place to order from when you need a last minute party tray. I place an order for a small tray of the house fried rice (came with shrimp, char siu, and chicken as protein) the day before my work potluck. It was about $37.XX after taxes when ordering online. You get a confirmation email after too. I picked it up the day of, and it came out fresh and hot. However, when I ate the fried rice it really lacked flavor. I don't think you can mess up fried rice but it is not a hit.... I should have ordered an appetizer but felt like we didn't have enough entrees for the potluck. I would advise to not order the fried rice here. Coworker got the small tray of chicken salad and that one is good. Just gotta pick the right dish. I have their phone number on speed dial to order before I drive to pick it up. I really like their salt and pepper shrimp, and the S&P chicken is really good. The fried rice has a bit of wok hei and is quite fluffy. Chicken salad comes with crushed peanuts, fried wonton wrapper strips, and a deliciously sweet salad dressing. The shredded white chicken meat is a bit dry if you don't use the dressing. The wonton noodle soup hits the spot on rainy days. Broth is very mild, mostly cabbage flavor. I'm quite late writing this review, but I came here to order takeout with friends. I got a rice plate with white rice and fried wontons, veg tofu with garlic sauce. The worker taking my order seemed to somehow pick up on the possibility that I was vegetarian and offered to substitute the egg rolls with wontons for me because of the egg rolls containing pork, which I was really touched by and I do like fried wontons better than egg roles. They do offer a chicken chow mein option instead of rice for the main dish as well. The food was ready within the time they had estimated, and when we came back to pick up, the cashier remembered our names. The food itself was pretty good; the portion was massive for the price and I appreciated the generous amount of tofu which was pretty firm. This is one of my favorite places to pick up food. The value and the amount of food you get it really good. I usually order the number 4 combo plate. It comes with an egg roll, beef broccoli, chow mien, and fried rice. This can last me about two/three meals usually with the amount of food it comes with me. Depending on the time you come there can be a bit of a wait for your food so usually I'll order my food online for a time a little bit later so it's ready when I get there. My friend and I decided to dine here because I saw their chow fun beef in a picture. It looked delicious and so we both ordered it and shared it. It was absolutely amazing! But this is where the good news stops. The service was, again, horrific. The dude had no emotion, and he didn't give napkins, water cups, utensils, plates, or even a thank you after ordering. A key was required to open the bathroom door. Inside the bathroom? Pee and poo on the toilet seat, that's so nasty. It smelled horrible, and one of the employees went in to clean it up. It was pretty empty inside, but a lot of people started to come in for takeout. I also ordered a lemon chicken, which I thought would be similar to orange chicken at Pandas Express. I already regretted buying it, but it was to complement the chow fun and beef noodles. It was the worst chicken I had ever seen in my life. It was a deep-fried chicken breast that was cut into rectangles and had a very chewy and horrible taste to it. Avoid at all costs! The chow fun beef, however, was the complete opposite, greasy, tasty, and filling. Yes, both are horrible for you. The lemon chicken came with this yellow sauce that was unappealing and was put onto the chicken, and it did not do each other justice. It was alright, but the texture was gooey and sour. One other thing that sucked was that there was no rice complementary to the order. That was strange. The price was about 36$ for both items, and the bottled water was about 1.50$. They didn't have tap water and forced you to pay for bottled water. The individual who was working at the front register took my order and said that it would be 30 minutes, so I left and came back. I'm really confused on why this place has such high reviews because it's probably some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. We ordered Uber eats for the fried appetizer mixed plate, salt and pepper pork, sweet and sour pork, beef chow fun and crab rangoon. The fried food here was especially terrible, and it was so unfortunate that almost all the dishes we got were fried. Here's the major complaints. 1. Salt and pepper pork: so over fried to the point where the meat was completely hard and shriveled up, a dark dry mass 2. Sweet and sour pork: breading was extremely thick and separated from the meat inside, making it partially hollow since the meat was so much smaller than the breading 3. Beef chow fun: bland and excessive bean sprouts, some of my bites were purely bean sprouts with no noodle or anything 4. Crab Rangoon: where is the crab? Literally ONLY cream cheese inside.. Decent American Chinese restaurant. Ever since my first two favorite Chinese restaurants closed down (Bo Da for their legendary Mongolian Beef and Chao Chi for their Wednesday special), I've been trying to find a new Chinese place for takeout. This one does the job as it's fairly consistent and reasonably priced. A few caveats I find with the restaurant is their menu is approximately 65%-75% fried food and/or dipped in thick sugary sauces. I didn't mince words when I labeled it American Chinese, but you can't deny that it can be pretty tasty and is quite popular within the community. It's not hard to pick their popular dishes and have it pretty much all be fried food. Walnut shrimp, crispy beef in garlic sauce, sweet and sour pork -- boom it's all fried. Be sure to balance it out with some non-fried dishes from their menu. Or maybe have a salad ready to go at home if you're choosing this for take out. To expand on their fried-heavy selection, they should change out their frying oil more frequently. The last two times I've ordered from there, the food had that nauseating "old oil" taste where it was simply left around for too long. It hits you in the frontal lobe and sinus region really quickly. Aside from that, here is what we ordered from our most recent visit: - Walnut Shrimp: Not as mayo-y as some Chinese banquets make it. It's still good though. - Sweet & Sour Pork: It's the one to beat. Consistently good and nostalgic for me. - Crispy beef w/ garlic sauce: Couldn't take a picture, but it's one of their more popular choices. Strips of beef battered, fried, and dipped in sauce. - Shredded Chicken Salad: Okay, I'll admit, I only ordered this because I saw a few folks on here rave about it. What the hell. It's not good at all. It's overall a VERY dry salad with a dressing that is too little for the portion.
