On 3/25/2014 I put a $2,000.00 deposit on a vehicle for which I was going to purchase after they made promises to repair a wobbling wheel in addition to me retrieving more money as a down payment. The promised repairs never happened and I felt rushed to sign a contract for a vehicle that wobbled when I drove it. Therefore, I decided not to purchase the vehicle. Since then (March 2014), Patrick Jaguar has promised 3 times to refund my money. It is now April 28, 2014, I'm still waiting for my refund. read more

I purchased my 2nd vehicle from Patrick Jaguar in Naperville which was an Audi SQ5. My 1st experience with the salesperson was not that great but he is no longer there so I thought I would give them a 2nd chance. The people there are very nice but I was not told that when I purchased my 2nd vehicle that there were a 2nd set of tires that came with it. After speaking to the previous owner and Continental Audi, Patrick picked up the additional set of tires on January 30th from the Audi dealership where they were being stored but let me purchase the vehicle (which was over $40K) and leave with the existing BALD tires and did not offer the 2nd set. This is what gives salespeople and dealerships a bad name. I would like the 2nd set of tires and rims that came with car. In addition to the comments above the GM calls me back to try to make me feel guilty for contacting the previous owner and said they were concerned, which is not the case. He made me feel like I hunted them down when, if fact, the information was still stored in the vehicles phone list. Evidentially, they will spin the situation around and let the customer who pays them cash leave with an unsafe vehicle and sell the additional tires that came with the vehicle to someone else. I Will Not do business with these people again and I'm sure Mr. Dawson wouldn't do business like this. read more

I had a great experience purchasing my Range Rover Sport from Naperville Land Rover and highly recommend them. I had visited another Land Rover dealership prior to coming in and the experience was night and day. The first time I came into Naperville Land Rover they were extremely busy. Rather than make me wait, one of the sales managers Shane personally came with me for a test drive and answered my questions. The entire buying experience was very friendly, professional, and straight-forward. It was a very refreshing experience especially after the arrogant attitude I found at another Land Rover dealership. Howard, Shane, and Phil were exceptional to work with during and after my purchase and Shane personally delivered my car to my business after the purchase. Great job guys!!! Horrible !Horrible!Horrible! Purchased a used vehicle "sight unseen" from this dealership. After agreeing to on the price. As well as replacing a dead light bulb and new windshield wipers. A certified bank check was sent on 6/1/2015. And received on 6/2/2015. I was then told by Steve Miller that I would be able to have someone to pick up the car once the checked cleared. Steve called me on 6/4/2015 to say they have a 10 day holding policy, before I could pick the car up. I was never told or giving this in written before I purchased the car. I spoke with my bank on the very next day, and was told that the check cleared on 6/4/2015. The same day I was told it'll take 10 days. I called Steve back that Monday. And was told that I needed to speak with the GM. The GM told me that I needed to speak with the Finance Manager Rafal Rzucek. Spoke with Rafal on Wednesday, and was told that they have not received the funds from the check yet. I sent him a copy of the check, the very same day. That was giving to me by my bank. Showing that when it was cashed. I called back the next day(Thursday) and was told that he'll need his GM to sign off on releasing the car. On Friday, didn't get a call back, as usual. This time my wife called and demanded they release the car to us immediately or refund our money. Rafal agreed to release the car. We told him that we'll fly out to Chicago the next day (Saturday) to pick the car up ourselves. After getting to Chicago, we wasn't offered a ride to the dealership. We paid $80 in cab fee. "Customer no service." Once we arrived at the dealership, the car wasn't ready. So we had to wait another 45 minutes. After finally seeing the car in person. We were satisfied, but still pissed. When we finally got the car home to Atlanta on Monday. I called Steve to let him know we made it home. And also, that the light bulb and the wipers wasn't replaced. I have not gotten return call or email. Also, the drive off tag is dated 6/2/2015. We were received the title, along with the rest of the paper on 6/24/2015. The letter stated in the package that we have 10 days to register the vehicle in our state. I went to the tag office on 6/29/2015 and was assessed over $80 for late fees. I was told that they went off the purchase order date of 5/28/2015. That is the date we agreed to the price of the vehicle. And that paperwork was sent overnight UPS. I signed it the next day. And sent that paperwork back, along with the check on 6/1/2015. I called back and was told I needed to speak with the used car manager. And guess what? Still haven't gotten a call back. read more

I purchased my vehicle on 11th September but till date I have not received the title for the registration. I have sent dozen of emails and made multiple phone calls but did not receive any response. I escalated the matter to higher authorities too but no luck. It looks like staff at the dealership just ignores you once the purchase is made. Other than this I have faced other support issue once the purchase was made. Does anyone else has the similar experience or I am just the odd one out? I thought Jaguar is a reputed brand and they would care for their customers. Please share your feedback friends. read more

Worst car buying experience conducted by group who simply did not care. Sales Manager avoided my contact, disregarded my money down, and sold car to another local dealership (cash over customer). I was going to pay $17k cash for a car for my son. Then come and get something nice for myself. Now I wouldn't give this dealer a quarter for a phone call! Visited on a Saturday with my son to see a specific car. Was handed off to 3 different people. Put money down on car to hold while numbers were being worked out. I called daily for 3-4 days to check on status. No return call. No return e-mail. Called back on Friday to learn everyone I talked to was off on Fridays AND they sold the car out from under me the night before. Sales Manager to cowardly to return call. My car is now at another dealer for $5k more. Thanks for nothing Land Rover Naperville. read more

On January 9, 2017, I took my 2013 Range Rover Sport with approximately 38,000 miles, to the service department of this dealership because the check engine light came on while my wife was driving it. Because I did not have an appointment, I realized it may take 2 or 3 days for them to get to the vehicle, but I did not want it driven with an unknown problem. After a couple of days I was informed that metal shavings were found in the engine and it was determined they were from the area of the timing chain and chain guides. New parts were ordered and received by the dealership. I do not know exactly when the parts replacement work began, but I was told approximately 2 days ago that, after testing, (and after being in the shop for ONE MONTH), the vehicle needs a new engine. The vehicle is under warranty so I have no cost concerns about the repairs, but today is FEBRUARY 10th. If it's taken this long to get a diagnosis on the problem, I have serious concerns as to whether a job as major as an engine swap can be handled by this dealership. The service representative that I've been dealing with has been very polite when I called to get vehicle status, but he was apparently powerless to get my vehicle worked on any faster, or to get us a loaner vehicle. We do have a rental the dealership is paying for. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! First off id like to say if i could give this place a zero star i would! right off the bat it took me 15 minutes to even get acknowledged in the sales room. I was later approached by a salesman who is younger with spiked hair and was wearing a grey golf polo. I would say his name but he never told me it and never asked for mine. Unfortunately because i am young and have tan skin, i believe he was racist and he for sure had ageism in his mind. All he knew about me was i needed a car and attend college. I used the classic term "i just started looking" because its apart of the car buying game to get the best price. Clearly this man is new to the job because he really did not understand that its his job to end my looking journey and sell me the car. But because of the prejudices that persist in his mind he was unable to look past that. What he did not understand is i am a college student who will be a doctor of pharmacy in just a few years and i currently run online businesses and i have a full time job. I could have bought the car with breeze. I was looking at a pre owned Lexus they had on their lot and he unlocked the doors and just goes "well there it is" then said nothing else, i had to ask to turn on the car. he then walked in the blind spot of the car to purposely avoid me. i get out and he says nothing to me, doesn't offer a test drive or anything. And then the worst part comes up. I asked if the car had accidents and he had THE AUDACITY to say "it doesn't matter if it has three because you're not getting it" Like wow! he is not only the stupidest salesman i have ever encountered but probably the stupidest and most arrogant person i have ever met in my life. As i was leaving i was infuriated and respectfully told him that just because of my age it doesn't mean i'm not a potential buyer and told him to treat every customer equally because i currently drive a Lexus. he then told me he doesn't know what i wanted him to do because they're not a "Lexus store". i then let him know he is a car salesman because i was unaware if he knew what his job was. the arrogance seemed to completely take over whatever brain he has. Our experience was one of complete frustration. After almost one month of numerous attempts to fix several issues with our new 2015 Range Rover Sport, we ultimately took our vehicle to another Land Rover dealer to rectify the problems that Patrick could not. We felt we were treated with dishonesty and disrespect from ownership on down. The other Land Rover dealership rectified our issues, in entirety, within 48 hours. Worst dealership I have ever been to! I contacted this dealer about a car that they had for sale online. The salesperson asked me to send him a copy of my drivers license, which I did. I was then told that I could come in and purchase the car. When I went into the dealership to purchase the car 45 min later they asked for my drivers license and insurance card, which I gave them. At this time I was told the total price including taxes, title, and registration, which was not a problem. I was then asked if I wanted to finance the car or pay cash. When I told them I wanted to pay cash they told me I had to fill out a credit application and have my credit ran. I did not want my credit run, which was why I was paying cash. They then proceeded to tell me that I could not wire them the money, and that they would not take a personal check unless I let them run my credit. I then offered a certified check or money order and was told that it was against company policy to accept bank wire, and if I wanted to pay with a check that they needed to run my credit. I asked the salesperson if they were going to refuse to sell me the car because I would not finance and he said yes. I then offered to put just about the whole price of the car down as a down payment and finance approximately $6,000.00. I was then told I could not do that either. I told the salesman that I wanted it in writing that they refused to sell me the car because I would not finance the whole amount of the car. At this time I told the salesman that this was discrimination and i would be contacting a lawyer. He said, "Oh well, sue us". The salesman then went and got the general manager, Alex. Alex sat down with me and told me that I had to fill out a credit application if I wanted to pay cash for the car. I told Alex that I would fill out a credit application, but that they could not run my credit. He said there is no point in filling out the credit application then. I was then asked to leave the store and told that the car was no longer available. I proceeded to tell the general manager that this was discrimination and he said it did not matter that they could do what they want. As I was walking towards the door to leave, the general manager, Alex, says "Have a nice day fu*k face". I turned around and said, "Excuse me, what did you say?". Alex then said, "I said have a nice day." I in return said, "I don't think so" and walked out of the door. I am extremely disgusted by the way I was treated. I have never been treated this poorly by anyone. For a place that sells cars, you think they would be kind to their customers so they continue to keep their old customers and gain new customers. We recently were looking to purchase a used XJ8 & visited/spoke to 5 different dealerships in the metro Chicago area. To be fair, every salesman seemed professional but we would rank Tim & Patrick Jag ahead of the rest. Tim was both low-key and pro-active - my husband noticed that the tires on the rear were worn on the edges & Tim spoke to the mgr and they agreed to replace all 4 - BEFORE we asked. Any small item that we noticed about the car, he made sure was fixed or replaced & the car was already in outstanding condition. We knew we wouldn't get as much for our trade-in compared to selling it ourselves, but their offer was reasonable AND the original asking price for the XJ8 was completely in line with Kelley BB & Edmunds, unlike most dealers who had theirs listed over retail list which meant you felt like you had to negotiate much more to get to current market value. The dealership facility was attractive & comfortable when you are having your vehicle serviced. We didn't YET give them 5 stars only because we feel we need to see how our first real service experiences go - but if service gives the same support and follow through that Tim did, then they will easily get 5 stars from us. read more

I live 2 blocks from the Orloff Land Rover dealership in Chicago (literally on the same street). I visited Orloff when starting the shopping process for my Range Rover Evoque. I was treated extremely poorly and lied to. I refused to purchase from them and drove 45 minutes to Patrick Land Rover in Naperville. I was immediately greeted and treated with amazing customer service. They treated me like a friend and didn't once try to sell me or push me into something I wasn't interested in. Christopher Peterson was amazing with email and phone communication and always kept me in the loop on where the vehicle was in the production process and when I could expect it to be delivered. He has called me multiple times since picking up the vehicle to check in and make sure everything is running as-expected. I will not only recommend everyone I know to Patrick Land Rover, but will drive 45 minutes every time I need service or maintenance. Incredible customer service like that is hard to find and worth the drive, even though Orloff is in my back yard. If you go to Patrick Land Rover/Jaguar, ask for Christopher Peterson!!! read more

Brought my Range Rover for an oil change. Rover was giving error messages about low coolant and wiper fluid. I was about to take a long trip with my newborn and expressed this to the service manager stressing the importance of all fluids needing to be topped off. Waited for 2 hours for in showroom, paid, brought the Rover home and voila error noticed on coolant and wiper fluid. Checked fluid levels to find they were never topped off. Looked at oil and it was discolored. Called service manager and his remedy was for me to add a cup of water to the coolant if coolant runs out during our trip. I am a housewife, not a mechanic. The mechanic who works for our family business inspected the Rover and showed us that the routers are severely warped and brake pads in urgent need of replacement. Yet the fancy inspection reports we received from this dealership during the past 2 oil changes show the brakes in good condition. Last winter we spent $2,800 to replace the air ride suspension with conventional suspension after this dealership convinced us (costing hundreds of dollars) that there is a wiring issue. Nope, wiring was fine, we just needed a new battery. This dealership has been very costly, added unnecessary stresses, makes us wait for hours in a waiting room, has taken weeks with downgraded loaners to make simple repairs, misdiagnosed issues, and now blatantly took money for work they did not do. I shutter to think of how many thousands of dollars we may have paid unnecessarily. When I escalated to Kristin about the oil change issue her solution was to have a loaner brought out so they could take my Rover to the shop for inspection. After explaining that I absolutely do not trust these people with my vehicle, my demand for a refund on the oil change was accepted. We will never return and caution others with our experience. read more

I looked forward to working with Ernie Salinas based on the review from Feb 22nd. He shot me an email saying he'd be happy to answer any and all questions I had regarding a used vehicle they were selling. He also reassured me that the vehicle I inquired about was still available. I then replied to his email w/ questions and asked for a price quote on the vehicle, stating VERY CLEARLY that I was interested in purchasing a vehicle by end of week; Ernie failed to reply. I then looked at their website the following day, and the vehicle was gone! How disappointing! I would have appreciated at least an email from Ernie that the car was about to be/or had been sold. I expressed my urgency in email, and in return my time was wasted. Nothing but empty promises: no information, no price quote, no car, no sale. In their initial email they state how they are thankful for the opportunity to "earn" your business. What I experienced is NOT a good way to earn my business. I have recently had service in this month of January at your dealership. This is not the first time, i've been coming there since about a year ago. Everything has been fine until this year. I took my truck in for a front side suspension issue. i needed a suspension replacement and a computer replacement, that was fine, but then i was called about my back abs control module going out while they were working on the front suspension not sure why it did at that time don't really add up. so... ok i went in to pick my truck and everything that was in my trunk was placed in my back seat. So i had to clean up after them. Got the truck home and drove it two time and the coolant hose came off. ok.. so i take it back and they said the were going to "keep it for the whole day so that they can make sure the job is done right." got it back and drove it once and it popped off again. had to get it towed back to the dealership after being stuck on the side of the expressway. Then no call from the dealership until 4 days later to let me know anything. When i do finally talk to someone they quote me on a price and says " it should be no more than this price" so i called yesterday and the quote went up more than 200.00. I'm not sure what to think about this service. I feel like i can't trust whats been said, it has cost me a lot of money and time both which i can not afford to waste. Its been with you guys on and off since the beginning of January. I need some truthful clarification please. read more

I purchased a Range Rover from Bill Jacobs in Naperville prior to their acquisition by the Patrick group. I have continued to use Patrick's service department since that time. I have had 4-5 service appointments over the past 3 years. I would rate the front desk service as being excellent. The ease of scheduling an appointment is excellent. The longest that I have had to wait for a scheduled appointment has been 5 days. I have worked with three different service advisors (Kristi, Matt, and Jeff). They are all professional. However, communication is not always easy. They are difficult to contact via telephone and it is commonplace to have to leave a message when you are returning their telephone calls. During my most recent servicing, I placed three calls over three days without receiving an update on the status of my vehicle. The technicians are skilled. I have never had to take the vehicle back to have the repair corrected or modified. The prices are what you would expect from a dealer of a high end automobile. read more
