Alright. This jamba is great for many reasons. 1. The staff are older than your average high school student working their first job at Jamba Juice. aka they are VERY friendly and understand how important a sense of urgency is. 2. Pretty good location 3. Had the Mediteranean Flatbread... which was more like a pizza but it was bomb. It also only took like 2 minutes to heat up... awesome! i will defintiely go back... especially if the same cute boy is working who was so kind to help me out on my first visit. read more

Two of the worst JJ smoothies I've ever had were from here. The lemonade recipe has changed recently and it's garbage. There was one nice employee who was making smoothies a few weeks ago and she told me about the change and recommended I request lemon juice instead. Great idea, thanks for the tip, I thought. Ordered my usual smoothie and requested the lemon juice instead of lemonade and was charged $1.50 for it and Jessica, the employee at the register, forgot to give me the 10% discount for my tumbler. She's usually out to lunch anyway, and I have to reminder her of this. Except for the time I brought my own tumbler then she made sure to tell me I couldn't get the 10% off. So it goes. Overall, I'm disappointed in Jamba Juice with changing their recipes that used to be amazing to complete garbage and employees who don't seem to understand how sour lemons can really be. I wouldn't be writing this if things weren't consistently off here. I've had a few other times they were actually really good and they have 2 or 3 other employees who have a good idea of how things taste and their business promotions so that's what makes this all the more frustrating. read more

I love Jamba Juice. Everyone is super upbeat and nice. I have never had a bad smoothie from here (or any of the other 10 or 15 I've been to). This is located right across the street from me so it's pretty hard to NOT go there whenever I get some groceries, thai food, CVS, tan, etc. Only reason for 3 stars is because I don't think anything is ever perfect and the prices are just dumb sometimes. Sometimes you just want to get a juice/smoothie and not have a giant dog inside shaking and shedding INSIDE. Literally saw dog hair fly everywhere while smoothies being made and no one said a thing. No leash or anything. I get it San Diego likes their dogs, but please keep your dog away from my food/drink. The people working should have nicely asked to have the dog go outside. read more

I've been to plenty of jamba juices because it is a chain store but this place really left a memory for me because the dude behind the counter was such a genuine and chill dude. There was a family of six or more that headed in before and then another 4 customers and this dude handled it do well and the customers where super pushy. He had a smile on the whole time and was multi tasking like Spider-Man! Very polite saying please thank you yessir total dapper dude. If this was me I don't know if I could stay so positive! I didn't have time to ask for his name but the lone Jamba Juice employee who handle 10 or more customers alone is a hero in my book today. Good job my man! read more

I've been to this location one other time and had no problems. I also blame this solely on the management and not on the employees. The employees were fine. I ordered my smoothie at 1100 am. I was waiting and kept seeing other people being helped after me. At 1145 I asked the girl if I could just have a refund because my smoothie was forgotten about and I had somewhere to be. I felt bad for them because they were very short staffed on the holiday weekend. One of the employees tried calling the manager multiple times in front of me and was very stressed. I don't blame them. Hopefully they get better management soon. The employee was very apologetic when refunding me as I had to wait 45 minutes which I appreciated. read more

Health-minded people tend to wake up early and do things like go for a run & drink their wheat grass w/a slice of orange on an empty stomach. If you're this kind of health nut (like me), then Jamba Juice is not for you - at least not a O dark hundred. Saturday morning, I jog over to Jamba Juice. It's 6am. They're closed. They open at 7am. Maybe it's because I'm in Pacific Beach and most of the people around here are college age or elderly - the old people don't go to JJ and the young people are out partying too late to be seen at JJ this time of morning. Since I don't fall into either demographic, I'm SOL. Starbucks and the bagel shop next door were open & very busy, but no wheat grass. Where are my fellow health freaks!? Probably at Whole Wallet, I mean Whole Foods. Oh well, I'll run over there next and let you know what I find. P.S. I'm giving this place 4 stars, because other than not being open early enough, they do everything else just fine. read more

I am going to avoid this location in the future. Every single time I go here I have to deal with something. Today it was very unprofessional staff that didn't let me type in my phone number for rewards after I ordered and told me it's only one point for each purchase ( which is wrong) .. but I am 9 months pregnant and really didn't feel like arguing about it. Also when I asked if they had an agave syrup as an oatmeal topping the young gentlemen said " I don't know what that is". I was in today around 1045am and witnessed a young lady dealing with a difficult customer (I could recognize this because I deal with it a lot at my job). Despite the situation, I was very impressed with her product & nutrition knowledge! After providing all possible options for the woman (who ended up being very rude to, I believe her name was Courtney) she politely moved on to the next customer (me!) service with a smile is always appreciated in my book. This is a very nice, but very small Jamba Juice. There is no inside seating, just two or three tables outside. The staff here is really nice and they are fast at making the drinks. They share a parking lot with Von's so finding street parking is not an issue like most places on Garnett Ave. they have a new smoothie that is really good called the Kona Berry Blast. I highly recommend it or their all fruit smoothies. read more

I live right by here so sometimes it's my go to spot in the morning before work... Usually the customer service is amazing buttttttttt today it seemed as if no one woke up and wanted to still be in bed. I hate giving negative reviews but I feel as if I was talking to a wall. I ordered a chunky strawberry topper with Xtra granola I always order in a cup as it's messy in the bowl. She seemed really confused and had to ask me again "in a cup"? Totally fine whatever but please it's 7 in the morning I know your tired but have a personality. The lead on the floor seemed uninterested too but at least she smiled. I'll remember Thursday mornings aren't the time to come here. Hopefully next time I walk in the girls will recognize me and have a little more of a wake up!!!! read more

The people here are so cold and unfriendly. From no greetings when coming through the door, to completely silent transactions. I never really noticed it until I went to another Jamba Juice location where the staff was genuinely happy and greeted me as I walked through the door. This location though...needs new staff. I've encountered some really rude staff here and brushed it off, but it's not right. They get an extra star just because the smoothies are good. But its not hard to follow a recipe. read more
