French 75
Becca S.

I'm giving a little leeway, as apparently they are under new management. Checked them out for happy hour, and there was a bit of confusion behind the bar on what was and was not on their happy hour menu. I ordered a French 75 on their classic cocktails menu. I love a French 75. One of my favorite cocktails. I don't think the bartender has ever tried one. What I got tasted like lemon juice and sparkling wine. Which I guess is about halfway there. But it didn't encourage me to order anything else. It was empty when I came in but there were some ladies coming in while I was leaving. The decor is cute. It is in a very busy area I. Southlake and parking can get ornery. I hope find their groove, I will check it out again in a few months.

10/10! Definitely will be coming back. My mom and I came for lunch one day and it was very empty. The service was so kind and helpful. They split up the salad for us since we were splitting, and it was amazing. The flatbread was also soooo good. We got the one with prosciutto and fig! Devoured it all. It's super cute inside and outside! Definitely need to add it to your list of places to enjoy. Their happy hour menu is great too!

Cheers to the Jane mixologist who was willing to concoct an off-menu blood orange vodka refresher!

New go-to for the girls' group! Great vibe, great drinks, great food. Every single person in this lovely place was friendly and welcoming, starting with the husband-wife owners. They make you feel like you just walked into your friends' dining room to hang out. All-day happy hours on Monday and Tuesday, wine specials on Wednesday - who doesn't love a good deal? The bar staff are creative and willing to mix new things. The wine list is great. And the small bites, good grief - so good! It's a finely curated menu, so they really know what they're doing with the items on offer.

The place is so nice. Family time or dates. It gives high end vibes. Nicely furnished. the staff was so welcoming!

Came to eat here with my friend for lunch, and was surprised that you could seat yourself, since I had made a reservation on open table. The place is very stylish and classy inside. We got started with cocktails and I chose the Dubai Chocolate Martini, this was a terrific choice on my part because it was amazing. For our appetizer we got some Deviled Eggs, they were terrific, and probably the best ones I have had in some time. The deviled eggs surprised us with a nice spicy kick. For my entree I had the Sliders with a shared side of Truffle Fries. Everything that was had was amazingly delicious! The sliders were flavorful and the fries cooked to perfection. We can't skip dessert so we shaded the Chocolate Molten Lava Cake with a side of vanilla ice cream, and it was the perfect end to a wonderful meal. I liked their cute and stylish bathrooms. The bathrooms had mouthwash and floss for your convenience, in my opinion little things like this are special. I will definitely be coming back.

Espresso martini

The energy here is perfect! I like the inside or patio depending on the vibe you want. The last time I went on Valentine's Day for an espresso martini and it was great. I have also been for brunch before and their coffee is very good.

Fabulously trendy bar for cocktails or coffee with friends! Ambiance: I visited Jane with some friends for a weekday happy hour. The ambiance is stunning! Very upscale and modern. Service: our server was really nice and friendly, but it took a long time to receive our drinks. Despite the restaurant being virtually empty, we waited around 20 minutes for 3 beverages. Drinks: I tried the Frosty Fizz, which has sparkling wine, vodka, cranberry, raspberry liqueur, and rosemary. I thought the drink was nice, but was missing a tad bit more of the raspberry flavor. I'd recommend it to fellow Vodka Cran fans! TL;DR - Interior is gorgeous if you're looking for a chic place for drinks or coffee. Warning that service can be slow!

Our server works at another location and told my friend about this place I feel horrible I can't remember her name right now but she's a ginger super sweet and took care of us and answered all of our crazy questions. The tuna - as another Yelp reviewer mentioned- was bland, somehow lacking any tuna flavor. The salad was equally bland - the amount of dressing provided was stingy and it wasn't bad but was also very uninspired. I ate four bites of the salad to ensure it wasn't just me missing the tasty parts but that didn't help. I left all the tuna except the first piece I tried and half of the second. When the server finally came by and I had a 90 percent untouched plate he didn't bother to ask if everything was okay - just said "can I take this away"? I think these are the same owners who have The Tavern and Tycoon in Flower Mound and I've never had anything but great food and service experiences at both so hopefully this was just a rare bad experience. I will stick to The Tavern and Tycoon going forward, though.

Service: 1/5 We were seated pretty close to our reservation time, so things started off well...until our server showed up. Our waitress had a noticeably unwelcoming attitude. Food: 3/5 The salad was overly drenched in dressing. The pizza was mid at best. The heart shaped pizza definitely wasn't worth the extra cost...but hey, anything for a photo right? No real wow factor. The drinks, though, were solid...especially the espresso martini tower! Ambiance: 4/5 Very girly and cute...perfect for Valentine's vibes. Just wish there were more photo ops. I've tried the spinach dip, Leela's Favorite Board, and half a cheese pizza, and they were all great. I especially enjoyed the inside of the watermelon rind. I haven't tried the espresso flight yet, but it's definitely something I'd go for next time. The cocktails are refreshing and really good.

I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken, Parmesan cheese, delicious croutons and avocado. I confirmed that these were the only ingredients I wanted in the salad. When it was bought out I started eating right away because I was very hungry. I noticed a taste that I DID NOT LIKE. I asked our server what the dark green lettuce looking stuff was and she said KALE! I HATE KALE and have never seen it IN a Caesar salad. Other than that the service was great. She brought me a bowl of Romaine and Parmesan so I had to pick the chicken, croutons, and avocado out of the Kale and add it to the new bowl of romaine. Our 7 year old grandson had a grilled cheese sandwich which he said was yummy. Our 10 year old granddaughter ordered Fish & Chips. She's loves F&C and is a reliable critic. She said it was really good. My husband had a pizza with Truffle oil, mushrooms, garlic and arugula. He said it was very good. We ordered the beignets and of course they were to die for. We love beignets! It's hard to comment on the ambiance since it was an after church lunch. Ambiance for me is all about perfect lighting in the evening which is dimmed somewhat. We will return at some point. PLEASE tell the Chef that Kale should be nowhere near a Caesar salad.

I hope this was an honest mistake, but it's very disappointing and makes me lose trust. I'll be contacting the restaurant to have this corrected. The food was excellent, but because of this billing issue, I don't think I'll be coming back.

The bistro's in town are fun and casual but every once in a while you need something a little bit more gastronomically complex. They were very accommodating to my two littles. Which I highly recommend doing. That's not an easy dish to do, but they executed it perfectly. Nice thick noodles similar to the Pici and Bigoli , you see in Tuscany. They also had a pretty sizable prime New York strip for under $70 which is pretty impressive. Most restaurants would've charged 85 or more for that steak. It was cooked perfectly. Char medium rare. At the same time, my alcohol tolerance is horrible and I just would not have been able to handle any wine or other drink with alcohol. Thus, I could not enjoy the specialties of this establishment. There was a sizeable chicken breast. Not dry but also not too flavorful by itself but that's okay. The pesto really delivered on the flavor with a savory, nutty, and slightly herbal flavor. To name a few there's creme brulee, charcoal honey, ube, pandan...along with all the regular flavors. The pastries are good, they are average, which is still a good thing. Ham & cheese came out flaky. :) Presentation is beautiful. Sometimes I'll go there midday & there's not alot to choose from so it will prevent me from getting a snack. Charcuterie & wine is available but I haven't ordered any of those. A fun atmosphere, along the wall are built in seats with chairs on the opposite end of the table. Other seating includes table with benches (beware you can't move the benches to get in & out, if I'm wrong I apologize), then some a few tables with chairs by the windows, on the other side they do have benches facing each other with tables in between (great for groups!), & beautiful outdoor patio seating. They have a small upstairs with chairs & use wine barrels as tables. Clever! Customer service is okay, let me say that every person there has been extremely pleasant but out of the four times I've been there, only once I didn't have an issue. They seem to enough their jobs & working together, which is a green flag for any place, but sometimes they get distracted. One time I stood there & staff was chatting in the corner, a good amount of time passed before anyone noticed me. Another time, they just forgot my drink (it was the only thing in my order) & there were no other order left... the group was again chatting away with with each other, then during another visit they forgot my croissant. Each time they did apologize, but three out of four times aren't good odds. I probably won't frequent this location as much, but I will stop by once in awhile because their drinks are worth it.
