The drink I ordered took quite a while too, and we were seated right next to the bar, so not sure why it would take that long to make a single mimosa. The breakfast tacos were very good, though! This is a really fun place! I had the blood Orange Margarita and the hummus plate. The blood orange margarita wasn't too sweet or too sour. The hummus plate had a lot more variety than I was expecting. It had strawberries, blueberries, veggies, in addition to the pita, hummus, and olive spread. I ordered and old fashioned and sent it back because it was obviously not straight bourbon over ice. In fact it was very weak. They replaced it and it was better, but still water-down. Timing was 12:30 pm brunch/lunchtime Sunday. Busy but tables available. Loved outside patio dining. Only entree of brunch nature was waffles but food was very yummy though most entries are appetizer size, service very nice a little slow. Overall we realized it is meant to be a lovely fun bar with food as incidental. We personally had hoped for more food choices for brunch. We'll be back for date night! I saw at the bar tonight and witnessed careless and the disgusting the bartenders at work. (1). One bar tender was pouring the drinks and letting it drip through this fingers. So basically wherever his fingers touched that evening, the customer will taste it in their drink (2) One bar tender made a drink and asked the other bartender/employee to check it. So he checks it by taking the straw out of the drink, putting into his mouth and sucking on it, and then putting it back into the customer's drink. So if this employee is sick, has Covid, or any other germs/diseases, that customer who ordered that drink will also get it. The restaurant is nice and has a good vibe. The hostess and servers seem to be polite and accommodating but but I will never come back here nor will I let my friends/coworkers come here just from witnessing the disgusting tactics of their bartenders. read more

That was excusable. BUT When it came time to pay there was some confusion. Instead of handling it in a discreet manner, we were humiliated and treated EXTREMELY Hostile in regard to the situation. Have been here about 5 times and had nice experiences. One of the employees, he's possibly a manager, has just been stellar. Friendly, informative. Yesterday met a friend and we were directed to sit anywhere. It took about 15 minutes for the waitress to show up to take our order and another 15-20 to bring 2 drinks. We were the only people there except for 3 other adults with a child. The waitress asked us to move to other patio or indoors as they were expecting a party that had reserved the patio. We moved to the other patio. About 20 minutes later we were asked to move inside. Since this was a second move requested, we asked why. apparently a couple of people had unexpected friends join them and wanted the patio? There was plenty of space for them to sit as we were in the corner. Pretty insulting but it won't happen again. Adios Jane read more

I recently made a reservation through Open Table for a monthly meeting for the organization I am with. I called the day before to confirm the reservation as well as update the amount of people I expected. I was told by the person on the phone that her manager may need to call to confirm and ensure the restaurant could accommodate that many people (on a Tuesday night). I said that was fine and gave my contact information. I never heard anything from anyone at the restaurant concerning my reservation. My group shows up at our reservation time and finds out we were pushed. I received no call, text or voicemail previously to let me know the restaurant could not honor my reservation. We have used Jane in the past for our monthly meetings but will no longer do so. If Jane cannot honor reservations made through the Open Table platform, they should not use it and let people make reservations there. There are plenty of other establishments in the mid-cities area that would be happy to host a large group of people and I intend to use one of them for future events. 0 stars. Came for date night. Took forever to even be greeted by a waitress and given water. We ordered everything right away since we were hungry. Drinks took a LONG time but they were good. My husband's sliders came out 20 mins before any other food. So he had 2 little sliders and no fries. Plus it was awkward for him to eat without me having my food. Waitress spilled water on the tabl, Apologized stating she always misses and then never cleaned it up. We sat the entire time with water. Even had to ask the manager for silverware and napkins. Unfortunately, everyone in our party found their food to be completely lacking in flavor & value and accompanied with warm champagne.
