The team sent did a great job today. I would have given 5 stars but one of the girls was sick with a cold (sniffling and coughing) and was not wearing a mask. The yelp rating is a little over rated... One advice is, if you get quotation for cleaning, better get it per project, not per hour, someone can run 10 miles per hour, while other people only capable to do 5... Since I don't see anyone listing a price on yelp and all I found from one of the comments is "reasonable price"; they charge $60/hour, 2 people, reasonable or not, you judge... Here is my story First of all, they came 40 minutes late. Once they walked through my door, I told them there are 4 things in my concern: blinds, kitchen, shower room and baseboard. They then started their work.... During the process I noticed a couple things: 1. They didn't set priority well - remember my 4 concerns? instead they tried to make my bed, washed my dishes, spent a good deal of time on sweeping, asked me to help her re-charge her phone... 2. The lady who clean the kitchen sprayed the detergent directly to my counter-top and stove, regardless of the dishes and condiments set on the counter... After they left I have to re-wash all dishes and threw away some condiment just not sure is any of them contaminated by the chemical. OK, 4 hours later, time's up! They cleaned the bathrooms, sweep and mopped the floor, kitchen looked clean by the first look.... But what I found out later, my range hood was still dripping grease, she barely wiped the surface, without cleaning the inner parts; blinds were not cleaned (still remember my 4 concerns?) baseboard was half done, furniture and stuffs they moved were not put back to their original position, the ladies just left. Funny thing is they left without collecting money, not until I left messages to the owner about my 3/4 done work, she sent another person to come collect the money (she "preferred I pay her by credit card over the phone but I seriously not comfortable with that)... well, of course she didn't care about the 3/4 done work as she replied, "they spent a lot of time in cleaning your bathrooms." As from the beginning of this review I already mentioned some people are more capable than the other, with correct technique, equipment and detergent, the timeline can be improved. After all, I expect more when paying that kind of money ($60 x 4 hours), with the work rate I received, it is not quite reasonable... The reason of the extra star is just because the bathrooms are clean, not spotless clean (even "they spent a lot of time in cleaning your bathrooms"), the shower room glasses are still smoky, but general quality is acceptable. read more

were hoping this would be a successful yelp service story but it was far from that. we requested for an interior move-out cleaning and the 2 cleaners that were contracted came and spent 8 hours doing nothing. all bathrooms and floors were left dirty, worse of all our freshly painted walls were dirtied from their cleaning. the 2 cleaners instead of cleaning, spent 8 hours chatting nonstop on their phones. they didn't even come prepared with proper cleaning equipment. what was even worse was their driver didn't even have a driver's license or ID to enter the community. maybe other people have gotten lucky with better contracted cleaners, but we sure got the short end of the stick. read more

I'm writing this review from a service 3 weeks ago. I was holding off writing my review to see how Janeth's Cleaning Service resolved an issue with my son's car collection that while cleaning the staff broke. The collector car is worth about $125. Janeth quoted me that to clean my home, a 2 story, 2500 SF home would take about 5 hours (that was the about the same quote from a few other cleaning firms). The crew showed up on time, around 1:30. They head directly into the kitchen. In short they spent 4 hours downstairs then headed up stairs. Maybe they didn't judge their time correctly. But, I thought they moved rather slow. The first floor was cleaned nicely, the second floor, they didn't clean the stairs nor the banisters, in my son's room, they just sweep around things, not moving anything, they only spending an hour on the entire second floor. I would have gladly paid for more time, if that was the case. But again, I felt the staff moved slow and judged their time poorly. When my son came home in the evening, he noticed immediately that his car collection was touched, since the order of the cars on the shelves were changed. Then he noticed that the side mirror of one of the cars was broken and just put inside the car. I emailed Janeth on the broken car, she told to send her pictures of it and she would let the girls know. I also told her about the cleaning job. Janeth commented that, that was good information and they would do better next time. After about 3 weeks of not hearing back, I email Janeth again. She said she couldn't just take the money from the girls and gave me their phone numbers and told me to call them. I would think that the girls work for her, she should take responsibility, not make me address it with the staff. I was very disappointed in how they addressed the broken car and in looking back should have made a bigger deal of the cleaning job on the second floor. A job only half done. I requested a quote for a deep clean for a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment, we have kids and a good amount of clutter. I received a quote the same evening and scheduled for my preffered day and time. I was quoted 10 am and approximately 3 hours. The day before I received a confirmation text that the cleaners would arrive between 1030 and 11. They ended up starting at 1115, so if you are a first time customer just anticipate this possibility in your plans. The cleaning was great very detail oriented and they everything was in its place when I returned home. The time was accurate and I had requested additonal services of the oven and the inside of the windows. After nearly a month of being down with the flu, my house just wasn't up to my usual clean standards - and I am more than a little bit of a clean freak. So I found Janeth after a lot of nonsense and wasted time on Groupon (most of their places are out of business - buyer beware - CALL a place before buying a Groupon!). I found Janeth's Yelp page and called right away. They could get me in quickly. Score. The two ladies that showed up to clean did a phenomenal job... I mean, really outstanding! I have no complaints about their work at all. I would eagerly hire them again for regular cleanings. The only issue I had was on the more technical/company side of things. When I made the appointment I was VERY clear that in order to get in to my condo building, you have to call my cell phone. We DO have one of those "buzzer" systems but that only works with home phone lines and I don't think anyone in our small condo building even HAS a home phone anymore... So the cleaning ladies were standing outside my building for about 15 minutes and couldn't figure out how to reach me. That wasn't communicated to them by the company. Which was unfortunate. But when I finally found them, the company did give me a $10 credit for the inconvenience and lateness - which I appreciated. Also, I was told I could pay via PayPal or credit card but that wasn't communicated to the cleaning team... and I wanted to make CERTAIN they got their tip... so I had to give my credit card info over the phone to the company, which I generally prefer not to do. Paying online would have been MUCH easier and felt more secure. And I should have made sure I had cash for the cleaners tips - but I never do. Update: Janeth contacted us immediately after finding out we were unhappy and scheduled two people to come out the following day. They came out and re-cleaned the entire house, not just what was missed the first time, at no charge. The two ladies who came this time were professional and communicated well with us. We found this service on Yelp and decided to try them. We got a quote of $55/hour for a deep cleaning and were told two crew members would come out. Two people showed up, one adult and one who looked like a teenager. Neither of seemed to be professional cleaners. They came in and cleaned most things but were not detail oriented which was confusing because most reviews said that this company is detail oriented. After 4 1/2 hours they did not dust the tops of anything in the rooms. The floors in the bathroom were lightly wiped down but there was still baby powder left on the floors in 2 of the bathrooms. They did not move anything to dust and did not dust anything they couldn't easily reach so dressers in the bedrooms still have dust in the middle and you can see where they could reach the sides but not all the way up. I was surprised and disappointed to be left feeling like I need to clean the house after paying for two professionals to be here for 4 1/2 hours. Not likely to use them again.
