There is an open kitchen style towards the back of the restaurant, and at the center, there is a bar area. The restaurant is relatively dark, fair warning. There was a unique selection of appetizers and entrees. So I had a hard time choosing, but for appetizers we ended up getting Tuna Tower, Wagyu sliders, and the Goku roll. Naturally we were a bit dull after that, but I wanted to try an entree so I ordered the seafood gumbo and my partner ordered the lobster mac and cheese (he says he gets this here every time). All the appetizers we got were AMAZING. I don't have a single complaint about the taste, quality, or flavor. The display was also very neat and nice. I will say the lobster mac and cheese and the seafood gumbo were a bit too salty for my palate, but I can tell that the flavor was there. They were very generous with the seafood for every meal, so that was a plus. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and come again. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. The steaks and seafood were great, and the owners father (Luis), gave my son and I a history lesson of the origin of the restaurant (former Norfolk Southern depot) and a guided tour of the hidden porches that you can watch passing trains up close. What a great ambassador to the restaurant! While we were eating there, we experienced 1 southbound and 1 northbound train, my son was able get great videos of both train.
