This review only covers their moist brisket, which, I imagine, would be pretty close to my first attempt at BBQ'ing one. I'm notorious at overcooking meat, which is why I bought a Meater probe. This brisket was dry with just an essence of smoke, even though a smoke ring was noticeable. For us, it's a one and done, especially since we've had the best, at NakedQ in Phoenix and Pinkerton's in San Antonio. Their other menu items may be staggeringly good, since they are known for "home made", but I'd recommend passing on this particular meat. She just moved to Peachtree Corners and wanted something close and relaxed, and Cue delivered. The weeknight vibe was easygoing, about half full, and the food hit the spot -- especially the okra, which was perfectly crispy outside and tender inside. I have had my fair share of BBQ around the world..but in the south if you don't get a choice of at least 4 sauces walk away. Everything was smoked to perfection! Many sides to choose from. Of course I had the coleslaw but though I didn't have them (as I am a picky green eater) but the very nice service staff assured me the collard green were the best! I had the homemade mac and cheese which had a nice taste. On the weekend they have live music but the place is nice and clean and great seating for every size of group! Go eat an enjoy! read more

Very authentic BBQ spot according to my husband. He smelled the bbq as soon as he walked in. We came on July 4th for dinner but they were closing early for the holiday so we returned the next day for lunch. I got the Smoked wings with Deviled Egg Potato Salad & Sweet Potato Casserole. My husband got the Sliced Pork Sandwich with Collard Green & Brunswick Stew. We both enjoyed our food & saved room for dessert since our waiter Kera told us about the Strawberry Cobbler. We're both not a fan of cobbler but since we never heard of Strawberry cobbler my husband wanted to try it. As seen in the picture we got straight to eating before I remembered to take a picture. It was 10/10. We got the small size and it was the perfect portion to share. When we were packing up our leftovers my husband found a long string of hair in his collards & Kera kindly gave us a new container of collards to go. My friends and I stopped by here for dinner on Friday and had heard good reviews of the place! Our waitress got started quickly with our waters and told us about the specials. I went with the chicken salad sandwich after debating between that and the wings. The sandwich came on Texas toast pieces of bread, and I got a side of fries. The chicken salad was delicious and had a nice crunch with the pecans and some sweetness from the grapes. I was actually more impressed with the quantity of it for the price! My friends got a few of the sandwiches as well and couldn't finish them. The fries were pretty good, but next time I think I'll go with the onion rings. This was a pleasure finding another 'Cue to come to since the one closest to us went out of business. The food here is just like I remembered. Delicious. SERVICE: We were greeted with a smile and allowed to pick our own seating. We choose to sit a table rather than the bar or high tables. Our waiter John was amazing. Very polite and welcoming. He offered to explain the sauces to us, but since we've been down this road before, we didn't take him up on his offer. The spicy sauce is my favorite anyway. It tastes amazing on everything! FOOD: It took about 10-15 minutes to get our food. We got the barbecue chicken salad to share, a cup of Brunswick stew (which is exceptionally delicious) and 4 bbq sliders (2 chicken, one pork and one brisket. The salad is fully loaded with guacamole, shredded cheese, black bean corn salsa, tomatoes, fresh jalapeño strips and crispy tortilla strips. I got the chipotle ranch dressing and my husband got the creamy balsamic vinaigrette. The Brunswick stew is so warm and comforting. I have a feeling this stew would be epic over some hot white rice, but I'll test that theory at a later time The sliders were massive. It's an appetizer but it is definitely a meal if you pair it with some fries or stew. AMBIENCE: chill vibes with music playing in the background. You catch yourself singing along to their playlist. Very Disappointed. Have been to 'Cue a number of times and been pleased. Went for lunch last week with my wife. We weren't too hungary and decided to split some sliders and a side of okra (which was good). Choose brisket for the sliders. Mistake, the brisket was awful. Dry, flavorless and buns were cold and appeared taken right off a supermarket shelf. I should have sent them back. Was able to choke one down with lots of BBQ sauce. May return for the smoked wings but definitely avoid the brisket. read more

I was craving smoked turkey (the true mark of a BBQ place that knows what they're doing) with some garlic bread and sides. What I ended up getting was pulled chicken, mac and cheese, and collard greens. * Pulled chicken - Not dry but not moist. Pre-sauced, felt like it had been sitting in the sauce all day. * Mac and cheese - Velveeta base. Typical corporate mac hack for establishments that can't actually make a good southern mac and cheese. * Collards - Lots of stems and way oversalted. Decent flavor though. * Sauces - They all tasted like they came out of a bottle and the flavors or textures were off on all of them. * Bread - Flavorless. Just chiming in again to say we recently stopped by for the first time in a while with some loved ones and, as always, we were seated right away, our waiter was nice and relaxed, and our food was great. It was a weekday evening, so it was nice and quiet as well. Everyone was chill and enjoying their meals and conversation. We had to wait a bit for another person in our party to arrive, and our waiter was patient and attentive when he did. Husband and I ordered our usual smoked wings and a basket of fried okra. Still had to ask for the toast that came with my husband's meal lol, but not a big deal. The waiter was apologetic and brought it right away. We split everything we ordered; we got the 12 jumbo smoked wings also grilled cause my guy likes them that way and was not wrong about this suggestion because they took them to another level with the right balance of moisture and crunch, we also ordered the half and half (okra and fries) which was AMAZING in flavor especially those hand cut fries, I ordered a small side salad, and my guy ordered a pulled smoked chicken sandwich made Pittsburgh style with slaw and pickles which was bomb especially with the South Carolina barbecue sauce. Our server (can't remember her name) was amazing and even Paul waited on us a couple of times; he even handed me a napkin after he saw me looking for one cause I had sauce on my face from eating a wing lol!!! I'm really glad my fiancé and I decided to try this place last night. We were originally going to try Smokin' Gold yesterday for Yelp's first ever virtual "First Taste Friday," but they were super busy (as expected on a Friday night). After waiting for six whole minutes on the phone and hearing every conversation that took place in the bustling kitchen, I decided to hang up and check back in with them another time. I found Cue as an alternative, and even though I didn't see burnt ends on the menu, I found the "Half Bird" plate which looked like something my love would enjoy. We ordered that and I ordered the brisket plate all through the website which is linked with Chow Now. I've never used that ordering service before, but it's better than Uber Eats or similar sites apparently, as they stated the restaurant gets 100% of the profit from orders. For our sides we both got potato salad and mac and cheese. We also ordered baked beans, collard greens, and sweet potato casserole. I liked that they put all of the sides in sturdy cups separate from the meat - real easy to portion and pack up leftovers this way. Both plates came with complimentary buttery toast and pickles. I thought the brisket and all of the sides were really great. My other half enjoyed his chicken plate too. Everything was seasoned and portioned very well. I noticed a few price increases from the last menu posted here on Yelp, but that's more than understandable with the economy we're currently in. For our total meal price it came to $48 plus a few cents for tax (not including gratuity). I thought it was well worth it for a satisfying meal that provided leftovers too. We added "curbside pick-up" to the order and were supposed to call when we got there, but my fiancé decided to just go in and grab the order himself. He said it was empty on the Hickory Room side where he picked up the order and everyone working was wearing masks, so it seemed they were being safe and following CDC COVID-19 guidelines. I would definitely order from this place again. Easy ordering and pick-up, as well as great food and value. I like it better than Shane's Rib Shack and Bad to the Bone so far, and it's much closer to me than Dave Poe's. I'll be back when I'm craving brisket again. read more

The slab of ribs is a must. To my surprise they were very juicy and tender. The meat almost fell off the bone. The fries were good don't see how you can mess up fries. The Mac and cheese wasn't good at all. It came out less than room temperature so that was disappointing. There was live entertainment, the singer sounded pretty good so it made for a pleasant atmosphere. Nachos was pretty good. I would probably order them again. They give nice sized portions. I will definitely be returning here. I didn't have room for desert but hopefully next time I come I will try one of the deserts. I would have given Cue's 5 stars but because the Mac and cheese was cold and not the best flavor I had to minus a star.
