This is a great spot for a burger in San Francisco. I like how they kept the original flooring at the entrance. I ordered the McBangBang with onion rings and a drink. Total came out to $26. Really good service overall. I like the seating inside as well. The tater tots in the burger were a nice crispy touch. The onion rings were also on point. The bathroom was a cool red hue, def worth checking out as well!

Came on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy! The inside is small with some seating available. Got to meet THE Jasmin herself! Her and the rest of the staff were SO lovely. They brought us water and ketchup without us even asking. Order a burger and fries and it was delicious! It was pretty cheap and filling.

I frequently passed by this restaurant and decided it was time to try it. We had a good experience, and I have added it to my list of preferred burger places. The World Cup was also being broadcast, and we ordered beer with our burger and fries!

Cute little gem that saves you more hiking down the steep hill. Restaurant seating is small and casual with communal benches/stools. The smash burgers are fresh and super tasty. Opted for the double cheeseburger - asked for light sauce bc it's just my preference. Fries were thin and crispy. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the man working the grill was very personable and greeted us both on the way in and out. They have a small selection of food, which I think is what keeps it solid. Also drinks in cans/bottles and beer as well.

We stopped by here for lunch after visiting the Fairmont hotel (it's just a few streets down from the hotel). When we got in we were happily greeted by the owner and his wife. They were so friendly and accommodating. We ordered the cheeseburger with fries. It was simple but a tasty selection. I highly recommend coming here for the great food. We felt like are visiting their home.

Jasmin's is a small restaurant with a big vibe. Their burgers are low key notorious, and I also enjoy the delicious California burrito, small but flavorful; it comes with a side of warmed chips. Food comes out quickly, and service is friendly and helpful.

A hidden gem. Wouldn't have known about it without these reviews. It was two steep blocks from our hotel but the climb helped burn off some of the calories. We had a burger and fries and chicken katsu over rice. Both were excellent. The burger was a lean over special. Super juicy. And everything was piping hot. We recommend Jasmin's.

Veggie burger was quite good, everything tasted fresh and the bun was soft (not soggy though) and chewy. The prices are pretty reasonable overall too, the burger itself was $13. The onion rings were nice and crispy but they give way too few onion rings for a $5-6 order. It was like 7 pieces! Cool spot on the inside. Not really a sit down place but there are a bunch of high top bar style seats.

My compliments to the chef--who appears to be a celestial being that oversees the crisping of potatoes. If you find yourself lucky enough to dine here, do not overcomplicate it. Order the cheeseburger. Add the tots. Then sit back, close your eyes, and ascend.

This spot is relatively new to Nob Hill, about two years old. It's owned by the parents of the original Tacorea. Their burgers are really good. I usually get the classic, but they also have inventive, mostly Asian-inspired burgers. Friendly owner, good price.

this place... IS HEAT. I won't say it replaces in n out for me but it comes pretty close to the taste of in n out and will be my go-to burger when I don't want to trek to in n out and will be my new drunk food spot (m Sad to see tacorea gone but this place may beat it for me and there is some shared ownership?? Stopped by for lunch and was not disappointed one bit! The host was so nice and friendly, I felt welcomed into the restaurant. I'm a pretty plain Jane &, ooo honey, this is my kind of burger! Just the added funk I didn't know I needed (thanks to them peppers)! My typical cheeseburger order is plain w/ lettuce, so I asked for no sauce/spread & no tomato here @ Jasmin's. The burger was heaven at first bite! I forgot it came w/ peppers (& the patty was seasoned so nicely), so that initial chomp was a welcomed surprise! Burst of flavor in the ol' boca (mouth), one might say. Super yummy! The burger was not annoyingly huge & messy; it maintained its shape from start to finish. The only reason I regret trying this bad boy is b/c I enjoyed it so much! It's the kind of bite that has me salivating as I write this review. The onion rings were super crisp, not greasy; & boy were they delicious (my bunch & I gobbled them up as quickly as they arrived)! Scrumptious food, friendly service, & adequate seating (my fam of 5 came here at 7PM on a Saturday)...I look forward to grabbing another burger, if ever in the area again!!! read more

Jasmin's is a cozy burger place in the Lower Nob Hill area near Union Square. Came here on a weekend night for a late dinner, getting a veggie burger, chicken sandwich, and a side of tater tots that came with ranch. Food was delicious and filled us up! Staff were friendly and service was quick. Definitely coming back when we're in the area, and highly recommend! read more

After searching for many places where to eat near union square we came across here. The food was on point! I got the chicken teriyaki, my husband the Chicken Katsu and OMG! It was so delicious, my picky son got a burger and said the meat was very tasty! We usually take leftovers but we ate it all! We arrived at 15min till closing, yet we were welcomed and told us not to worry to take our time. Jose the cook was very friendly and is a master in the kitchen, the owner was there and was very nice to us and treated us like if we were dining in a restaurant : ) . We are definitely coming back!! Amazing!! That's what this place is!! The lady behind the counter is the sweetest (I think that must be jasmine). Nice little place, and she is so kind and courteous, places like these should be conserved. I got a cheeseburger for like 10 bucks and it was great, definitely better than the franchise chains. I missed the original Jasmin's greatly, and when I found out they had reopened I was more than excited to try it. The service is amazing and the food is very well priced! Breakfast is also served Friday and Saturday mornings! I ordered the McBangBang and it was just what I needed. For $11 it was more than worth it considering it came with a huge freshly pressed patty and a fried chicken patty alongside caramelized onions and well buttered buns. It's nice to finally have an affordable and tasty burger spot in the neighborhood again. Welcome back Jasmin's, I'll be back! read more

Went there for the first time this weekend just by chance. Small establishment. 4 table areas close together. High stools & tables. Very clean. Handicap accessible. Pictures and prices seen right when you come in. Great prices. I tried the cheeseburger and fries. The owner is an okder japanese woman who is so friendly & kind. We ordered with her at the register, takes card, she cooked it and brought it to our table. Steady flow of people. Drinking options are canned, glass& plastic variety in a fridge you can grab from. A fee beers as well. The cheeseburger was so simple yet so flavorful and delicious! Literally 1 of the best burgers I have ever had. Fries are as good as anywhere else, tasty. I wanted to go back the next day while I was still in the area, but ran out of tkme. She has a tv in there too. read more

Went with a friend and we couldn't decide what we wanted so we decided to get a cheeseburger and a fried chicken sandwich with fries. The kind lady that took our order (could have been the owner) heard our dilemma so she had the cook plate our order with half cheeseburger and half fried chicken sandwich!! This just became one of my go to spot in SF. Quality and price are both on point. Rare in SF. Chicken Teriyaki Very tender and flavorful chicken that is flattened out on the grill, and the seasoning is subtle and perfectly balanced. Recommend 100% if you like teriyaki chicken or if you're just looking for comfort food. Portion was also large, but I don't feel heavy at all. Chicken Sando It's felt more like a lighter fried chicken sandwich vs the japanese fried chicken sando, but full of flavor and balanced again. Not too heavy. Would definitely get it again when I crave a chicken sandwich. The owner was a super friendly lady who is a family member of previous restaurant at the spot, Tacorea. They also kept the California burrito on the menu as it was their most popular item. I remember there used to be huge lines just for the burrito. Next time I want to checkout their burger! read more

I walked by and reminisced about Tacorea's California burrito. Turns out they still have it on the menu and it is very similar to how it was before! They also have the breakfast burrito, but I'm not sure if you can get a combo of bacon and chorizo like Tacorea used to do it. Highly recommend this place! People are friendly, prices are fair, food is great! read more

Their burgers are so good! I got the burger to go, and even a 40min ride later, the burger was still juicy and tasty. Would highly recommend. If burgers aren't your thing, their chicken teriyaki is also legit. I usually don't like chicken teriyaki because it can be kind of tough and rubbery but the chicken teriyaki here was tender and didn't have that weird texture so 10/10 for me. read more

Honestly. It sucked. The only thing they have going for them is stoner food. But honestly why spend 15 dollars for their mcbangbang that literally only tastes like caramelized onions. The art of the cheeseburger isn't just throw everything on it and it will be delicious cause that's the recipe for a mess and that's what they serve. Also their combos aren't even combos.... they are just burgers that you have to pay for the fry more. Overall will never give them a second chance. They are here for high food prices low quality product. read more

My wife purchased the salad with the salmon and I got the grilled chicken and both were delicious, though I would rank Sweetgreen a little higher in terms of flavor and offerings. It ended up looking and eating more like a mini steak burrito, which was a very good value for the price. Unfortunately, the steak was too fatty, rubbery, and difficult to chew. I was expecting leaner pieces of steak. I also found the fajita veggies to be extremely salty. In fact, I had to drink three cups of water after finishing my meal because of the saltiness. I've eaten at multiple Chipotle locations, and I've noticed the fajita veggies are consistently very salty. I think Chipotle could easily cut the amount of salt in half without affecting the flavor. Next time, I won't order the steak again because of the fatty, tough meat. Overall, for $4.85, turning a taco into what felt like a mini burrito was still a very good value.

There were at least 4 orders sitting on the counter behind her, and she never checked once. There were only 2 of us and one other customer standing there waiting, clearly confused, for over 30 minutes. She even started getting ready to leave as if it was totally normal that people were still standing there waiting for food. No communication. No checking. No sense of responsibility. You could tell the kitchen staff was annoyed too because she was doing absolutely nothing. When we finally asked for a refund, she offered a whole pizza instead. For what? To wait another 30+ minutes? With conference traffic from Moscone Center and movie nights this place could be making money, but somehow it takes over 30 min for a mini pizza with 0 customer awareness. Never again.

Great attitude, focus and together with some of his usual customers, it felt like a friend's reunion of some sort. We loved that the noodles were served warm. Most versions we've had elsewhere are closer to room temperature, so this was a very nice surprise. Once mixed together, the dish was so flavorful. Our food arrived quickly, but midway through the meal we realized we had forgotten to order a vegetable dish. We added the stir-fried eggplant which unfortunately seemed to throw off the timing a bit and didn't arrive until near the end of our meal. By then, we were already stuffed, and the eggplant was a little too salty on its own. I think it would have paired much better with rice or noodles. Lesson learned for next time! We visited on a Thursday evening and were lucky enough to find street parking shortly after 6 p.m. We were seated immediately, but a line started forming not long after. So definitely come early!

I was pleasantly surprised by the enthusiasm and hospitality of the staff. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by the lady working, who promptly delivered my meal to the table with a smile. Opting for the fried chicken sandwich, I found it to be decent but not outstanding compared to others I've had. In hindsight, I think I should have tried the beef burger instead. Given the expectations I had for a small business, I anticipated a bit more. The sandwich reminded me of those from Jack in the Box, which was unexpected. I used to frequent the original Jasmin's, and although I miss Tacorea, I can always eat a delicious burger and tater tots. It's great to have an affordable breakfast option in the neighborhood, and I hope they expand the days eventually. The folks working here are genuinely nice! read more
