Cute little gem that saves you more hiking down the steep hill. Restaurant seating is small and casual with communal benches/stools. The smash burgers are fresh and super tasty. Opted for the double cheeseburger - asked for light sauce bc it's just my preference. Fries were thin and crispy. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the man working the grill was very personable and greeted us both on the way in and out. They have a small selection of food, which I think is what keeps it solid. Also drinks in cans/bottles and beer as well.

We stopped by here for lunch after visiting the Fairmont hotel (it's just a few streets down from the hotel). When we got in we were happily greeted by the owner and his wife. They were so friendly and accommodating. We ordered the cheeseburger with fries. It was simple but a tasty selection. I highly recommend coming here for the great food. We felt like are visiting their home.

A hidden gem. Wouldn't have known about it without these reviews. It was two steep blocks from our hotel but the climb helped burn off some of the calories. We had a burger and fries and chicken katsu over rice. Both were excellent. The burger was a lean over special. Super juicy. And everything was piping hot. We recommend Jasmin's.

Veggie burger was quite good, everything tasted fresh and the bun was soft (not soggy though) and chewy. The prices are pretty reasonable overall too, the burger itself was $13. The onion rings were nice and crispy but they give way too few onion rings for a $5-6 order. It was like 7 pieces! Cool spot on the inside. Not really a sit down place but there are a bunch of high top bar style seats.

This spot is relatively new to Nob Hill, about two years old. It's owned by the parents of the original Tacorea. Their burgers are really good. I usually get the classic, but they also have inventive, mostly Asian-inspired burgers. Friendly owner, good price.

The cheeseburger arrived like a modest masterpiece: unassuming in presentation, yet wholly confident in its craft. One does not eat such a burger; one communes with it. And then--the tots. Golden cylinders of transcendence. The exterior crackled between my teeth with the audible promise of perfection. Inside, a pillowy warmth so precisely salted it made the angels weep (or perhaps that was just me). If manna ever descended from heaven, I am convinced it came pre-seasoned to this specification. In a world oversaturated with "artisanal" and "gastro-this" nonsense, this place achieves what few can: simple excellence executed flawlessly. My compliments to the chef--who appears to be a celestial being that oversees the crisping of potatoes. If you find yourself lucky enough to dine here, do not overcomplicate it. Visiting SF and this was a cute lunch spot near our hotel. You order and pay at the counter before going to your seat of choice. The owners are super sweet and friendly. The food came out quickly, like legit took maybe 5-10min and it was piping hot. The chicken teriyaki was excellent; chicken was perfectly good with a slightly sweet teriyaki sauce. Rice was cooked super well too and the mac salad was surprisingly light. The side salad was refreshing. If you come here, you have to get the onion rings because they're crunchy and come with a tangy tartar sauce. My bf said the double cheeseburger is super solid and comes with homemade buns.

I just moved back to this area after about seven years, I was roaming around when I saw this new spot that wasn't here before, I thought I'd give it a go. I went in and got a chicken California burrito. It was so good! There was a lot of good flavor in the chicken, and the burrito was a good size! Will definitely be going back when I'm in the mood for a burrito now. read more

I've been here a few times and overall it's a nice spot with friendly staff and a good vibe. When they first opened, I tried the cheeseburger and it was excellent. But recently I had the double cheeseburger and it was probably the worst I've had rubbery, overcooked, completely dry, and lacking any flavor. It honestly felt like reheated patties from the fridge. Not sure what happened, but it was the worst . I might give it another shot and try their burrito , but with so many other great options around, I'm not sure it's worth the time. Tiny little burger joint near Union Square, but just up the hill enough to avoid all the touristy stuff. Limited menu that seems to straddle both burgers and teriyaki. Got the burger and it was fine. Double Cheezburger: A respectable burger. Patties smashed and cooked on onions for extra flavor. Gooey cheese between burgers. Lots of fresh lettuce and tomato to balance out the richness. Some special sauce that tasted Big Mac like. I'd still pick Super Duper for the same burger category of not fast food yet still counter service. However, if you're nearby and want a burger, this will do. Onion Rings: I actually don't see onion rings on the menu much in San Francisco, so this was a nice throwback. A good mix of crunchy shell and soften onions inside. Sometimes it's nice to depart from fries. read more

Nice new spot to grab a quick casual cheese burger. I added mushrooms and avocados to my bun. Fresh lettuce and tomato - check. Good flavored beef. My only 2 complaints: - they don't have sweet potato fries only regular - I didn't ask for banana peppers - and got it anyways. Not the end of the world. The crew was very nice and fast service. Appreciate that they were open at 9pm on a Wednesday. Will come back. read more

Got a to-go order of a hamburger and fries and both were delicious and warm! Burger wasn't too heavy, served with a great sauce and fresh toppings (lettuce, tomato, pepperoncini's - none were soggy). Jasmin's is a straight forward great comfort food spot. You order at the counter and pick a seat yourself. The clean and casual interior matches the exact type of food you get. The burger is flavorful and fresh. You might need to take a minute to take even the first bite because it and the fries literally comes out that hot. The fries are a perfect side to the burger adding a crispy skin and smooth interior. This spot has quickly become my go-to in the neighborhood. Since I work from home, I've had the chance to explore the menu--and Jasmin's never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. My friends and I tried the cheeseburger with fries, and the quality blew us away. Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and super comforting. I've also become obsessed with the teriyaki plate--I've ordered it three times in the past two weeks, and I'm not even mad about it. Came here after seeing the reviews. It did not disappoint at all! I came during a time when only two other people were in the restaurant and was welcome right way. I ordered the California burrito. Both the lady who took my order and the gentleman working the kitchen were super inviting. Great ambiance. & let me tell you... The California burrito is tiny but oh so might with flavor! The chips are fresh and so crispy with the right amount of salsa. So delicious that I danced while eating my burrito. read more

Please excuse me all you enthusiasts. But wtf. Frozen burgers. Yes served hot and fresh. But really it's big food supplier, Sysco whatever patties No real taste. I don't even want to eat anymore. How often do you find food at these prices in the city?! $10-20 for burgers, fries, teriyaki, chicken Sammie's, etc Quick, not fussy, great staff, well lit and for the neighborhood incredibly affordable. This cozy spot, run by a Korean team, offers excellent service that truly feels five-star. HOWEVER, I was a bit disappointed by the food. I agree with the review below about their cheeseburger. It is a burger place, and the basics are already off. Do you want to try others? Of course not. The patty was rubbery and not of the best quality. I don't understand how this place has such high reviews. Tried the double cheese burger and it was somehow really off putting? The meat itself was rubbery, unseasoned and not juicy but the bread was soaked in grease. Not to mention the cheese was almost inedible?? It's really funky and tastes artificial. My friend's teenaged daughters wanted burgers, so I found Jasmin's on Yelp. It is a very small restaurant with a few tables. My expectations were low. But I was pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. The lady who worked behind the counter was cheerful and friendly. She was patient as the teenagers decided what to order. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was really good! My friend and the teenagers loved their burgers. They liked the onion rings too. I recommend this restaurant for home-like cooked fast food. read more

This is a small burger joint in the hills near Sutter St. It recommended to me by the hotel front desk clerk where I was staying in the area. And I have to say he was spot on with this place. This was the 1st restaurant I ate at in San Francisco. And I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The burger was big, juicy and full of favor. The fries has the perfect crispness. The meal was outstanding and set me up for day of exploring San Francisco. I highly recommend Jasmin's and I am sure you will be greeting by the owner and her lovely smile ! read more

I didn't eat here, but I did come by for a drink after walking up the steep hill. I had asked for a lemon or lime for the corona I was going to purchase. And the lady/ owner cooking ran to the back and cut me up a fresh lemon just for me. Very considerate, will be eating here this week just for the short but simple service. read more

Wow. The first review I've ever left on Yelp. Jasmin's is the best casual dining experience I've had in San Francisco. I had the pleasure of meeting Jasmin herself, and she is a lovely soul and excellent proprietress of her business. The service was quick, the food was delicious, and all at a good price with a family feeling. Our whole party felt so special and taken care of. And a bonus: dogs are so so welcome! Jasmin's moved into a spot that Tacorea vacated. Those are BIG shoes to fill. Totally different food, but I'm sorry. They did not fill the shoes, but they can still wear them. Really solid spot here. Really good people too. The menu is simple but has solid variety. Classic American stuff or get teriyaki chicken. Interesting plot twist. The menu is themed like In'N'out and I'll just make this clear... the burgers are not even close to the same. No milkshakes either. There's a little brand confusion here that I don't think benefits Jasmins. I don't mean that disrespectfully. In all honesty this food can stand on its own and they can create their own brand without playing on anyone else's. The Burger is really juicy and in the upper tier of the burgers I've had in the city (not elite though). The loaded fries were very rich and tasty. Hot dog was good as well. Make it a little cheaper though. It's just a regular dog. This place won't be Tacorea, but they should take some notes and try and draw in the student body from Art U. Tacorea was everyone's favorite spot from the school. Jasmins you do quality enough food. Fine tune some things and I'm eating here every weekend. Why do my suggestions matter? They don't. But since my office is around the corner I want to have some stake in this place. (4.3 Stars) read more

I searched best burgers in SF and happened to be close to Jasmine's . This place is absolutely legit. I had the Mc bang bang and it was a super delicious burger with chicken!. I highly recommend and will absolutely be back. Highlight of the meal was I got served by Jasmine herself. Wonderful lady and great burger spot! read more

Jasmin's is the new shop that replaced Tacorea, under the same owner with a new menu. The burgers they have are super tasty - I had the McBangBang, which is a standard burger that comes with chicken fritters inside. The patty was cooked to perfection and the fritters added a nice crunch to every bite. The buns were the best amount of puffy, and apparently they are made in house which is pretty cool. My friend got the green burger (completely plant based) and said it was a really solid burger. One of the best things about Jasmin's is how inexpensive the burgers are compared to other burger joints in the city. The burger I had was $11 and was super filling. Finally, the owner was super nice, she told us about the switch from Tacorea and constantly made sure we had everything we needed. I'm a big fan of this place - it's definitely going to take off! read more

It was a top smash burger in the bay, and I'd def go again if in the area.
