I gave my order to the cashier 3 times. What is so hard about corned beef on rye with mustard, cold meat and cold bread? The steam table dries out the meat so I always get it cold for the freshness. I usually go to the Ridgeway location and most times they don't understand cold. I foolishly trusted the sandwich was correct, after all I told the cashier 3 time what I wanted, but I get home and the meat is warm and of course dry and it is half the size of the sandwiches you get from the Ridgeway location and the same price. It was not busy and there were two ladies in front of me waiting for take out. One worried she would be late back to work because the service was so slow. It took about 10 minutes to get my order and even when the one on Ridgeway is packed full with 5 or 6 people waiting for take out, it is a lot faster. Their corned beef is some of the best I have tasted, too bad inept employees will keep me from returning to this location. read more

It's a nicely maintained place, and I would recommend going in to sit down and eat. However, their online ordering is well below average. More times than not, they forget to put in a side, sandwich, or include drinks when picking up the order. I've become increasingly frustrated with this and wish the employees would just check the orders rather than making customers waste their money. TLDR: avoid making my numerous mistakes in placing your trust in the employees and check your order when you pick up because it's probably wrong. read more

I have had a number of Reuben sandwiches in my time, but Jason's has a very good one...and I've enjoyed their Reuben many times. First, the meat, 'kraut and bread are all good. Second, they provide a generous amount of meat with each sandwich. In fact, sometimes I have to take half of it home for another meal. This place is ok... but not great. Service is non-existant for the most part. You make your own drinks. You can build your own sandwiches, but I wouldn't suggest the pasta dishes. I placed a catering order for a baby shower at this location and I was very satisfied. When I came to pick up my food, I realized I didn't order a large enough platter. The manager graciously said it would take 5 minutes to upgrade it to the next size up. A few minutes later my order was complete and the friendly and courteous staff helped make the day a success. When I got home the sandwich was horrible-there was no roast beef , tomatoes, pickles, or green peppers. The bread was hard (not toasted) just stale old bread. I called and spoke with the manager Saied Mojack , who was vey rude and refused to refund my money. I advise anyone not go to this location. Customer Service is not a priority. Of all the Jason's Deli's in the Memphis area, I go to this one the most. I am familiar with Jason's from other cities. I usually order half a corned beef sandwich with a cup of soup. The food at this Jason's deli is usually good although delivery times are ridiculous!! I ordered food for delivery today at 2pm and we got the food at 3:30. The hot food was stone cold and my gluten sensitive turkey sandwich was literally two pieces of bread with a wad of turkey between them. I called the manager and he agreed to send a new sandwich and some "fixings" for my turkey sandwich but he could not send it out until their driver came in at 4pm. I love Jason's Deli for the salad bar. It's huge and I actually crave it. I'd much prefer to go local for sandwiches, because you can get a good sandwich several places in Memphis, but for convenience, sometimes we go here. I wish I could eat their italian pasta salad every day of my life. The chicken club wrapini is also really great, but they are really heavy on the meat, so you can ask for them to go light on that. read more

Brought my mom here after leaving a nearby hospital. The service was spotty and it took a moment to get someone 's attention. The person at the register didn't seem to understand how to taylor my order. There was no menu item that fit what we needed; a veggie sandwich on toasted French bread. The server kept asking if I wanted a wrap. I asked for a variety of vegetables which the server gave the impression could be accommodated: roasted peppers, grilled eggplant, lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, onion. We wound up with a lettuce, tomato,avocado, and onion sandwich with no mayo or dressing to speak of, no salt and pepper, etc. that and chips with no drink for close to $11. Abysmal. Pitiful. We could have done better on our own and decided that's what we'll do moving forward. The only good thing that came out of this was the strawberry shortcake which was provided separately because they didn't complete my order initially. read more

I really have never understood the appeal of this place. Every time I am in a big group of people invariably someone says hey we should eat at Jason's Deli. The sandwiches seem a bit overpriced, and uninspiring and lack any sort of of flair or individuality. Its just bland takes on the same sandwiches that everyone else makes. There is an infinite list of more interesting restaurants in the same price range, and if I wanted to make a sandwich like I could get at Jason's I could just go home, make one that was much better, not pay for it and not waste my time in a very very blah atmosphere. read more

I wouldn't recomment this place for anyone! My coworkers and I ordered from here for lunch and we give them a lot of business. We placed a delivery order and 2 of the orders were incorrect. We called and they argued with us on what we said then said they will send the correct order but will charge us another delivery fee even though we paid it the first time. They are very rude and have poor customer service skills. Please watch out for this place when placing a delivery order. read more

Amy's turkey-o is yummy and I am a fan of the Tortilla Soup. I usually go at nighttime and the dining room isn't too crowded and the service is good.
