We're so excited that they opened another location, and it's closer to us. But I still would go back to the original location by Jax Beach. We ordered peppercorn chicken as an appetizer, but it came after our main course. As soon as we got sitted, our server came right after and made a recommendation on the appetizer and ordered that first thing before deciding on the main course. Thinking that it would come after 10 minutes or so. While still deciding on the main course, my husband and daughter ordered mango Lassi, which came right away. After like about five minutes, she took our main course order. Our waitress checked on us and said that our appetizer should be coming in shortly. Ok, we waited for 20 minutes now. Our main course came. Ordered chicken tandoori, chicken Tikka masala, cheese Naan, and bullet Naan. They mixed up the chicken tandoori with shrimp. Which obviously took longer again to come. After a while, our appetizer came, and the waitress just told us that it's weird that our main course came first before the appetizer. She just apologized and didn't even do anything nice for us to make it alright. Well, the peppercorn chicken is not that special, and my husband just ate that with rice, and then the chicken tandoori came after the appetizer is done. Oh BTW we came in during happy hour at 5pm on a Saturday which they only have a few customers. Also, happy hour meaning $1 off some of the appetizer. Had a wonderful time last night with dinner with some girlfriends. The drinks were SOOO good! I had the Jab We Met very sweet and full of flavor. Not only is this new restaurant huge and beautiful, but the authentic Indian food is SO delicious. My first visit here was for lunch. The employees were so friendly and seated my friends and I right away. I love that their menus are on ipads! It makes it so easy to see photos of the dishes especially since I am not familiar with many of the entree options. As a pescatarian, it is important for me to make sure I don't accidentally order something with meat in it. We started with a few apps: veg pakora: fried crispy, crunchy mix veg fritters, vegetable samosa chaat: crispy fried smashed pastry topped with chutney, mint, tamarind, chickpeas, yogurt (MY FAV), and gobhi manchurian: crispy cauliflower sauteed with home made spices served with delicious manchurian sauce. The small plates were so flavorful and the samosa chaat was easily my favorite. The sauces drizzled over top are what really make this dish special. I also ordered the baighan bharta: mashed roasted eggplant cooked with house blended spices and authentic bharta process. I wish there was an option to get a few small entrees instead of just one large one. For example the baighan bharta is $17. I also ordered the saag paneer (which I don't see on the menu now), and it was similarly priced. I had leftovers for days! I definitely recommend going with a group so you can share a bunch of entrees. The prices are higher than I am used to for Indian food, but honestly it is so worth it. I can't wait to go again soon! We were so excited to try the new JaxSpice Location off of 210. It lived up to the hype. The menu is on an IPad and there is so much to choose from. We started with the Chicken Twist Appetizer which came with a great sauce. I ordered the Salmon appetizer for my meal and it was excellent. It came with a mild green tasty sauce. Spice level is from 1-6. I ordered a 1.5. I think I would be ok with a 2. My husband got the fish tikka masala with a spice level of 3. He loved it. We rounded off the meal with garlic naan and mango lassis. Service was great and very prompt. The restaurant is brand new. They were putting up mirrors while we were there. Tables are well spaced and restaurant us super clean. Something interesting that the manager told me was they accommodate a lot of food allergies and sensitivities. The restaurant is completely peanut free. They cook everything to order so someone with a special diet should be able to have their needs met. We have missed Indian food since we moved to Florida but have now found our new regular spot. We really enjoyed our meal there. read more

My friend ordered the chicken tandoori which came with chicken, shawarma, and shrimp. I loooved the shawarma. I don't eat shrimp so I can't comment on that. This dish came with a side of vegetables that I found to be crisp and not over cooked. I ended up ordering some buttered naan midway through and glad I did because it pair so well with the soft, beautiful texture of the Baingan Bartha. Heads up, prices may seem higher than you're expecting but the portion sizes are generous and you'll be grateful for the leftovers; these flavors just get better with time anyway. Remember, inflation is at its worst. It was definitely worth every penny. I can't wait for to come back for a double date and try 4 new dishes!! Had lunch here recently. No lunch menu, but we were very happy with the wide variety of choices. We weren't feeling very adventurous, so had Jax Tandoori and biryani chicken. Biryani was huge. Like how you can choose your spiciness, 1-6. All food was very tasty and had to box biryani to take home - we're big eaters, so that never happens. Our server, Julia, was attentive and friendly. So the food is delicious, however, this is the second time around that I've gotten short curly dark hairs in my Butter Chicken... I wrote it off the first time and just ate something else, because it happens, but this time it wasn't just one hair, it was several short black hairs. It wasn't super coarse hair so not beard hair, tbh it kinda looked like arm hair, if not just really short head hair? Anyways if y'all are reading this, please have your cooks wear hair nets, and if they have excessive body hair, then long sleeves. Good hand washing practices can help with long arm hair as well - making sure to scrub up to the elbows. If this is fixed, I would order from here again, as again the food is delicious! read more

We attended a special event here and were impressed with the drinks and appetizers that were offered, part of a Yelp event leading up to a Grand Opening date. We immediately decided to come back for the Grand Opening weekend. The restaurant is large and airy, but not decorated with traditional Indian decor. There is a large bar, front and center in the dining room as you enter, with a few booths and many tables. They take pride in saying that the food is made to order from scratch - so it may take a little longer than other places. We definitely noticed more than a typical wait time on our visit. But the food was excellent. Chicken Hariyali had large chunks of white meat chicken, nicely seasoned. Smaller pieces of chicken might have made the dish more tender, but it was ok. Lamb and Chicken Biryani was a standout, ordered medium spicy. The heat level was perfect and the meats were very tender. We had lemon rice, onion naan, and channa saag for sides. All very well executed. Portions of both main dishes were very generous, and we took enough leftovers home to make a couple more dinners. Dessert was a very good Tiramisu - an unusual find in an Indian restaurant. There were a couple of hiccups that relate to the restaurant being new - our wait person didn't understand Indian food at all and had some difficulty getting the order correct. Instead of wait staff delivering food, kitchen staff brought orders out and then had difficulty figuring out which table to deliver to. Minor things, but overall a good culinary experience. The food is worth the trip and we expect they will get the service process worked out as time goes on. read more
