The food is pretty good with a nice selection. And the ambiance is a bit more upscale than most Indian places I've been. The service today was a bit quick/curt/fast- not super friendly. But this wasn't one of the usual male servers we have.

All the food here was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. I would definitely order the butter chicken to go the next time I'm craving Indian food. The inside of the restaurant was very pretty and clean. It looks like a great place to watch sports. I will say the menu being on an electronic tablet was weird and I wasn't a fan. Also, the service felt a bit lackluster, which was disappointing since my mom and I don't get to go out to lunch together very often. I'd like to give it another try at dinner sometime to see if the service is better, but if not, I'll probably stick to takeout.

Absolutely delicious. My favorite place for Indian food. I got the chicken lettuce wraps to start and then the chicken tiki masala

Came here Sunday for lunch and it was delicious. The vegetable samosa had big portions. I would recommend the butter chicken, which has amazing flavor. The Baigan Bharta is a tasty vegan eggplant dish. I didn't enjoy the curry chicken as much, due to how the flavoring wasn't as savory as I expected, it was kind of bland especially compared to the butter chicken. The garlic naan wasn't as doughy/flavorful as some other places that I've tried. Overall I was happy with our experience here and would recommend!

Went here on a Saturday night. Their reservation system was down, but we got seated at a decent time despite having one. There's booths on both sides of the restaurant. Club music was playing for background noise, but it wasn't loud. Decent amount of parking in front of restaurant. The food was decent. The Jax tandoori came out colder than expected. The fish curry was house fish which was tilapia. It felt like the fish just sat in the sauce in terms of flavor. Had a level 2 spice, and for someone who doesn't deal with spice well it wasn't that bad. Pretty good Indian restaurant for the area.

Great authentic Indian food. We went with some friends to give this restaurant a try. What a good meal we had! We started out with a few appetizers, CHICKEN 65 Spice sauteed chicken pieces in a delicious sauce. Also ordered CHICKEN LETTUCE WRAP Spiced ground chicken in a light seasoned sauce. Lokendra was our server and was attentive to our needs and answered all of our questions. The restaurant was about half full and the setting was great easy to have a conversation during dinner. We ordered HARIYALI CHICKEN Boneless grilled chicken white meat, marinated, sauteed with mint and GRILLED SHRIMP House masala marinated Jumbo shrimp with mix grilled vegetables. The portions were large and delicious. We finished the night with the pastry balls in a coconut sauce....so good!! Also had a spice margarita which was great except too much ice two sips and it was gone.

Food was pretty good. Big portions. Service was a little slow for an empty night but they were friendly. Nice restaurant - good outdoor area. 2 masalas, garlic naan and chicken 65 was enough for 5 hungry teens!

Sashaki (I think the name). It tasted similar to a blueberry raspberry vodka martini.

When you first walk in you immediately smell the food. And it's not a bad smell it smells good. You feel like the food is definitely being cooked and not super prepped in advance. Being my first time here it definitely made me excited. The veg pakora was something I tried for the first time I've had this and it was surprisingly crispy with a soft center. The sauces served with it were a great compliment. My main dish the Dhansak Chicken was something else I was new to try. It was definitely rewarding with flavor and spices. I ordered it with mild plus and I will say I should have done the medium. But I'm always in easy with spice. And the naan paired perfectly with it. I will say the rice was dryer than my preference but I also don't typically eat basmati rice often. So it could be exactly as it was supposed to be. That being said the portions were a lot bigger than I was expecting. I definitely felt like I got my money worth of food and I'm very satisfied. My server was good, just the right amount of attentive without being overbearing. Especially since it was a bit busy when we arrived. Considering it was my first time here I needed more time to decide on things. But she suggested naan and I realized I had completely forgot to order any and glad she mentioned it. Overall definitely can recommend to try out this spot. I for one can't wait to go back and try some more new things.

We had a late lunch at Jax Spice. This was our first time eating there. We found the menu to have a large variety of dishes we had never seen or eaten before. Jax spice, we learned, serves Northern India/Himalayan/Nepalese cuisine. We ordered Kachumber Salad (fresh cucumber salad), Grill Paneer Tikka (grilled cottage cheese), Kadhai (chicken with curry), Lamb Rogan Josh, Garlic Naan (flat bread ) and washed it down with an Indian beer, Kingfisher. It was all very tasty and large portions. Any of the main dishes (Lamb Rogan Josh and Kadhai) could be shared. The restaurant had a full bar, was spacious, well organized and very clean. Service was excellent. We definitely will be back.

Food is soooo good and portions seem really big. I love the way that the servers walk you through the extensive menu. Every time I have visited, I'm always given great recommendations from the staff. The butter chicken is my favorite and I love the garlic naan bread. The restaurant is very clean, open, airy and upscale, while still also being kid-friendly. Definitely recommend.

When I realized that there was a restaurant serving Nepalese (and Indian) food, I had to go! I went on a Monday evening. The place was maybe 10% full. Huge place, very bright and airy. Some TVs over the bar (they have a full bar). No reservations needed on Mondays, for sure. I started with a Nepalese beer. It was fine. I got the chicken momos, the samosas, and the daal with rice. Portion sizes were huge, and the food tasted fresh and well-seasoned. I got way too much food for one person, but I wanted to taste a range on things. I wish I had a bigger stomach! The atmosphere is beautiful and I always feel like I have walked into a different kind dining experience. It's relaxing and a lot nicer than many of the local restaurants around here. I feel that it has a quiet nuanced feel that is simply elegant. I ordered the Create your own course because I wanted more. I was in time for the lunch special that they serve Tuesday-Thursday from 11-3 but that wasn't what I was looking for. When coming here I just wanted to enjoy my idea of the meal I can create. The create your own course is just that and for $40.99 you receive an "appetizer, entree, dessert served with two sides, naan or tandoori roti and sauce. If you would like an additional entree and two sides it's only an additional $16.99. Extremely reasonable for the amount of food you receive and how well the food is prepared and the service you get here. My favorite is the Chicken Vindaloo which is Chicken, chili, tomato and it has a little coconut in it. It's a spicy dish but a little tangy too. I love that the heat is flavorful and not overpowering that you cannot taste all the spices in the dish. The tandoori roti I enjoy thoroughly it pairs very well with this dish, I've had the Peshawari naan which is filled with cherries, coconut flakes, cashews and raisins and this is so different and delicious more of a dessert you must try too. I also had the chick pea salad and this is a mix of chick peas, lettuce, red onion, cherry tomatoes and cilantro. Nothing out of this world but refreshing. Last time I was here I had the Samosa Chaat for a starter it was so good! It's a potato turnover with chickpeas layered with chopped onions, yogurt, tamarind, mint chutney, and so flavorful! The Dal soup is also very nice it's a smooth mild soup made with yellow split pea lentils, some ginger and just the right amount of garlic. So many choices here and I'll keep coming back so I can be sure to try everything in the menu at least a few times! I have had dessert and I really enjoyed this as well wanting to try something different than I can get in most restaurants so I tried the Gulab Jamun that is a deep fried dumpling soaked in a sweet syrup that is infused with rose water and coconut. I don't know what to expect but I absolutely loved this and it wasn't as sweet as I thought it might be it was very pleasant and a mild flavor but truly delicious! Other than the food , the service is always really nice here, it's just a very nice experience coming to Amrit you feel lot's of peace and tranquility while dining.
