Frankly I'm not a huge fan of drinking my coffee outside the house because I like making a super strong americano and I feel like I can do it best at the lowest price. But this is a lovely little spot for a little pick me up in Laguna and I decided to be adventurous and try the Dreamsicle because it was like 4:00pm and I didn't need caffeine for energy. I'm not a huge latte person in general but the flavor profile was definitely interesting... almost exactly like a shortbread cookie with orange jam in it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a great outdoor area and the decor inside is cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd definitely recommend Jedidiah for coffee in Laguna.

I walked quite far for this coffee! I was in downtown Laguna Beach and really wanted to try a local coffee shop and this one popped up during my search. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had such a beautiful outdoor patio with tons of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were also one block away from the water so this would be the perfect place to grab a coffee and go sit on the grass to watch the view of Laguna Beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sad to say they did not have a restroom for the public here, which I still find so incredibly odd because in New York if you serve food or drink you have to have a restroom, I think.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyways, never in my life have I got to a coffee shop that doesn't have a bathroom until I came to California. I got a cold brew and took it outside. The staff was super friendly by the way and they had some seats inside as well, saw some people doing work. The cold brew was delightful. Definitely check this place out!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cute little coffee spot! There is plenty of seating outdoors and indoors. Bright umbrellas and tables as well as a charming mini kids play area with outdoor connect four.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It beach close and located on PCH within walking distance of the Laguna Art Museum. I had the cronut covered in ganache and the specialty rose strawberry chocolate latte. Both delicious. It's good to know that they serve coffee and pastries and few other ready to eat bites. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside can be a moderately loud - only because it is a small space and the coffee machine is going.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is so nice. You really feel like you are part of a community even if it is your first time there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we were there at 2pm it was not busy, I was surprised by 3:30 it was packed and there was a line.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would go again and get an iced latte or maybe a pour over.

Ambiance is really cute and close to the beach. There's always been a line, so I try to go really early or during non-peak hours. Their lemonade is 5/5. Their matcha was fine, nothing to scream about. Service was friendly. I'll have to update this when I try their coffee.

Finally got to try Jedidiah yesterday (5/10) while I was in the area. It was a bit busy because of Mother's Day, but still manageable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop has a very homey, family-friendly feel and the decor/aesthetic was really cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff looked busy and overwhelmed but they did well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is also a huge plus since it's right across from the beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, the matcha was a miss for me since it lacked flavor. I had read similar reviews before but still wanted to give it a try myself. I'd still be open to trying their coffee next time, though it seems more suited for people who enjoy lighter coffee or matcha flavors. If you prefer rich and bold flavors, this spot might not hit the mark for you. Hopefully they'll look into using a higher quality matcha in the future because the shop itself has a lot of potential and such a nice vibe.

Just a plain black coffee for me! Jedidiah is walkable to the beach front, servers are passionate about their customer loyalty & chatting up a storm with the regulars. My friend and I were there to relax after some yoga on the beach. Excellent day!

Iced lavender latte and pistachio matcha are incredible, and the baristas are super friendly! Their syrups are a bit on the sweeter side so I'd recommend ordering lattes half sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating indoors is pretty limited but they have a nice outdoor patio and are just steps away from stunning ocean views at Heisler Park![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They don't have a parking lot, only street parking.

Came on a Sunday morning around 10:30 and the line wasn't too long. They are dog friendly so lots of cute pups to greet. They had a lot of sugary pastries and some yogurts/parfaits but that was all I saw for food. I ordered a flat white and a piece of pumpkin bread. Hubby ordered a drip and chocolate chip muffin. We had our drinks in about 5 mins. They had good amount or outdoor seating and a little bit of indoor seating. They even had a band outside until about 11 which was so fun. Only thing was they didn't have a restroom you had to walk about a block to the public bathroom at heisler park. The flat white was the best one I've had, so smooth, not bitter and great flavor. My pumpkin bread was pretty small for the price, don't know if just got a weirdly small piece. Hubby liked his drip and muffin, muffin wasn't anything too crazy just a regular chocolate chip muffin. We took our drinks to go and walked 1 block over the cliffs/beach access. It was away enough from the touristy area that it felt like a legit Laguna beach local place, which we liked!

Laguna: what are y'all smoking out here? Super long wait, which might be excusable if the coffee was decent. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and got served straight bean water. Love love love! I visited Laguna for the first time and I was determined to try this cute coffee shop I saw on TikTok and I was not disappointed. The location is easy to find and its airy and colorful decor was so inviting. I ordered a matcha and strawberry danish and both were so good, I love that they gave me many options to personalize my drink. Delicious drinks, my personal favorite is their matcha! Ordering is quick, the baristas are friendly and efficient. They have a cute patio area too. Often times you'll see the owners working on bar or at the register. Definitely a family business, so welcoming. So close to Heisler Park, makes for a great day! We Strolled in from our local hotel all three mornings of our wonderful stay in Laguna Beach to this newer little coffee shop on the N. Coast Highway. Each and every time it did not disappoint. Not only is it adorable and dog friendly, it has a really charming little patio. I love a great local community coffee shop, and this is one of my favorites in Laguna. The owners are friendly, the drinks are great and the ambiance is so cozy and chill. You can easily order a coffee and take a stroll along Heisler park, or park yourself there in their window seat and read a book. Best of all? They're dog-friendly! read more

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had at Jedidiah Coffee. The vibe of the cafe is cozy and welcoming, everything is fresh, employees are friendly and knowledgeable, and the coffee is seriously the best. I have been purchasing coffee from Jedidiah Coffee for years and am so happy they now have a brick and mortar shop. Their merch is super cute and their kids corner is so adorable. They are pet and kid friendly, which is a must. Their patio is packed on the weekends, which is testament to the great coffee and vibe. read more

Came here yesterday day with a friend and it was absolutely amazing!! I wanted a matcha and they had two different kinds (a pre sweetened powder and traditional ceremonial grade. I got the ceremonial grade matcha with almond milk and added honey. The taste was incredible and exactly what I was looking for! My friend enjoyed her drink as well and we sat inside and ended up coloring in one of their coloring books that they set out which was very calming :) Both the interior and exterior are super cute and the employees were so kind and inviting! Offering a wide variety of roast and if it's your first time they are super helpful based on your preferences with plenty of roasted beans to go! In my opinion, Jedidiah Coffee really offers the best space inside and out curating an on point local vibe for a Laguna Beach coffee shop! Wow! What an awesome place. My wife got a latte, my daughter got a hot chocolate, and I got an ice tea. The tea was epic, my wife loved her latte, and my daughter drank the hot chocolate before we got home. The people are super nice and friendly. This is now our go to spot on the weekends. Love this place! We came every morning we were in town. We got married in Laguna and come back often and this will 100% be our spot - great coffee, which is saying something because my husband has high standards for his morning caffeine. The first couple of times we came here we had the BEST matcha we've had in Orange County. We were so excited to come back but when we came back last time, it was a group of men working instead. Our matcha was so grainy we could see the powder floating in the drink and it tasted like milk. We chalked it up to a one time thing and decided to try again today. I've been here a few times and was always left impressed with how good the matcha here is. However, the last 2 times I've been here, the matcha has been the worst I've ever had. I truly think it depends on who is working and not all baristas are putting the same time and effort into whisking the matcha. I am coming to yelp to BEG management to train all employees the same because it's frustrating having such inconsistent drinks here. I would love to keep coming to support if this improves! read more

Established in 2017.

Jedidiah Coffee started as an event catering coffee bar ran by the Munsey's in 2017. In 2019 we started roasting here in Laguna Beach and have been "keeping Laguna caffeinated" ever since! The 14 year dream of opening our own "mom and pop" brick and mortar Cafe happened in early 2024. Jedidiah was named in honor of our late son, who we lost at birth in 2011. Thank you for support our local, family owned business. We are passionate about craft coffee and even more so the entire coffeehouse experience! We look forward to having you.

In their defense, they did have a massive bag that was $25. They had a bunch of great latte options, an espresso tonic, and tea options. They have pastries that looked delicious too. A great coffee and highly worth a visit!
