the Dreamsicle
Baran K.

Frankly I'm not a huge fan of drinking my coffee outside the house because I like making a super strong americano and I feel like I can do it best at the lowest price. But this is a lovely little spot for a little pick me up in Laguna and I decided to be adventurous and try the Dreamsicle because it was like 4:00pm and I didn't need caffeine for energy. I'm not a huge latte person in general but the flavor profile was definitely interesting... almost exactly like a shortbread cookie with orange jam in it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a great outdoor area and the decor inside is cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd definitely recommend Jedidiah for coffee in Laguna.

I walked quite far for this coffee! I was in downtown Laguna Beach and really wanted to try a local coffee shop and this one popped up during my search. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had such a beautiful outdoor patio with tons of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were also one block away from the water so this would be the perfect place to grab a coffee and go sit on the grass to watch the view of Laguna Beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sad to say they did not have a restroom for the public here, which I still find so incredibly odd because in New York if you serve food or drink you have to have a restroom, I think.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyways, never in my life have I got to a coffee shop that doesn't have a bathroom until I came to California. I got a cold brew and took it outside. The staff was super friendly by the way and they had some seats inside as well, saw some people doing work. The cold brew was delightful. Definitely check this place out!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute little coffee shop! I loved the inside of the shop, it had a very homestyle feel to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got a nice summer spritz drink and it was great for a summer day. The service was very helpful and fast! They also had a pet adoption pop up outside and we got to visit a few cats. Overall great experience

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cute little coffee spot! There is plenty of seating outdoors and indoors. Bright umbrellas and tables as well as a charming mini kids play area with outdoor connect four.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It beach close and located on PCH within walking distance of the Laguna Art Museum. I had the cronut covered in ganache and the specialty rose strawberry chocolate latte. Both delicious. It's good to know that they serve coffee and pastries and few other ready to eat bites. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside can be a moderately loud - only because it is a small space and the coffee machine is going.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is so nice. You really feel like you are part of a community even if it is your first time there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we were there at 2pm it was not busy, I was surprised by 3:30 it was packed and there was a line.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would go again and get an iced latte or maybe a pour over.

The Cappucino is excellent , almond croissant and the quiche are excellent. Nice coffee place by the beach. Love to come here after morning walk with my husband. First had coffee here with my daughter

Hands down best coffee.. no more explaining. Grab any latte on the menu.. you'll love it with a pastry! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Easy access..walkable from Laguna beach.. feels like a vibe everytime.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Coffee by the beach![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Ambiance is really cute and close to the beach. There's always been a line, so I try to go really early or during non-peak hours. Their lemonade is 5/5. Their matcha was fine, nothing to scream about. Service was friendly. I'll have to update this when I try their coffee.

Matcha flavor, 2/10. View? 10/10

Finally got to try Jedidiah yesterday (5/10) while I was in the area. It was a bit busy because of Mother's Day, but still manageable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop has a very homey, family-friendly feel and the decor/aesthetic was really cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff looked busy and overwhelmed but they did well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is also a huge plus since it's right across from the beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, the matcha was a miss for me since it lacked flavor. I had read similar reviews before but still wanted to give it a try myself. I'd still be open to trying their coffee next time, though it seems more suited for people who enjoy lighter coffee or matcha flavors. If you prefer rich and bold flavors, this spot might not hit the mark for you. Hopefully they'll look into using a higher quality matcha in the future because the shop itself has a lot of potential and such a nice vibe.

Just a plain black coffee for me! Jedidiah is walkable to the beach front, servers are passionate about their customer loyalty & chatting up a storm with the regulars. My friend and I were there to relax after some yoga on the beach. Excellent day!

Rachel N.

Iced lavender latte and pistachio matcha are incredible, and the baristas are super friendly! Their syrups are a bit on the sweeter side so I'd recommend ordering lattes half sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating indoors is pretty limited but they have a nice outdoor patio and are just steps away from stunning ocean views at Heisler Park![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They don't have a parking lot, only street parking.

Flat white

Came on a Sunday morning around 10:30 and the line wasn't too long. They are dog friendly so lots of cute pups to greet. They had a lot of sugary pastries and some yogurts/parfaits but that was all I saw for food. I ordered a flat white and a piece of pumpkin bread. Hubby ordered a drip and chocolate chip muffin. We had our drinks in about 5 mins. They had good amount or outdoor seating and a little bit of indoor seating. They even had a band outside until about 11 which was so fun. Only thing was they didn't have a restroom you had to walk about a block to the public bathroom at heisler park. The flat white was the best one I've had, so smooth, not bitter and great flavor. My pumpkin bread was pretty small for the price, don't know if just got a weirdly small piece. Hubby liked his drip and muffin, muffin wasn't anything too crazy just a regular chocolate chip muffin. We took our drinks to go and walked 1 block over the cliffs/beach access. It was away enough from the touristy area that it felt like a legit Laguna beach local place, which we liked!

My first time here it was great! Service was excellent! Line was a little long, I was nervous, but it moved fast! The ambiance and vibe is super warm and welcoming. I was also super excited to see they have pastries from Chaupain! So good. My coffee tasted great-- no burnt espresso (which is hard to find lol) 10/10 recommend

First timer here. The coffee is smooth and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the vibes were just right for this early bird.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were so friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll definitely be back.

Totally worth the walk. The shop is simple and minimalistic inside, with a clean layout and a plant right in the center that gives the space a calm, relaxed vibe. Nothing flashy, just thoughtfully designed and comfortable. I ordered the iced Spanish latte and my mom got the iced chai. Both had an excellent balance of sweetness and coffee or tea flavor. Smooth, refreshing, and perfect for sipping while sitting on the sand. The workers were friendly and easy to order from, which made the experience even better. One thing that stood out to us was their logo, two hands shaped like coming together. In sign language, that sign means "connect," so as Deaf individuals, we immediately noticed it and wondered about the meaning behind it. It made the name "Rapport" feel even more intentional. Great drinks, welcoming service, and a perfect stop before heading back to the beach. We'd definitely do that walk again.

My taste buds were tickled from the smell of coffee from the parking lot!…read more It's across the street from the Montage (not a bad place to walk with your coffee, assuming you park legally and walk!), tucked in a strip mall with CVS and other random shops. Interior is minimalist and clean. Baristas were all very nice. The cold brew coffee was one of the best I've had -- smooth, but robust, with a complex taste. AND it was under $5, which is a steal! I read that they roast coffees on site and I wouldn't doubt it! Unfortunately, while bean coffee was $23 for 200g, which is 7oz! My local roaster (Kean) would have the same price for 12oz. In their defense, they did have a massive bag that was $25. They had a bunch of great latte options, an espresso tonic, and tea options. They have pastries that looked delicious too. A great coffee and highly worth a visit!

Easily 10 out of 5 stars…read more I've been coming here since they first opened about three years ago and can honestly say this is hands down the best coffee in SoCal. Genuinely surprised I haven't left a review sooner. It's a small, quaint shop with a clean and mellow interior, relaxing jazz playing in the background, and aroma of freshly brewed coffee that always transports me back to Japan. Daisuke and his team greet everyone with such genuine warmth that you immediately feel welcomed. Their hospitality is unmatched, but what keeps me coming back is the consistency. Every drink is made with care, and they're always happy to take the time to explain the differences between their beans, recommend something based on your preferences, and answer any questions without ever making you feel rushed. You can tell they truly care about both their craft and their customers. I usually order the café au lait, and it's the only coffee shop where I'm confident in asking them to make it however they like. Every now and then I'll also pick up a bag of their beans to brew at home, and I highly recommend doing the same. They carefully help you choose from their wide variety, then grind the beans for you or sell them whole if you have your own grinder. Grinding fresh beans takes about 15-20 minutes, so if you're driving from farther away, I'd recommend calling ahead or placing an order through their website for pickup. The quality of the coffee speaks for itself, but what really sets this place apart is the experience. It's rare to find a coffee shop where both the product and the people are this consistently exceptional. Where most coffee shops tend to rush you out I think the difference here is that you genuinely feel welcomed. Wishing Daisuke and the entire team nothing but continued success. They deserve every bit of it. If you're looking for incredible coffee, authentic Japanese hospitality, and a place that genuinely cares about what they serve, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't regret it.

Laguna Beach, CA…read more I've wanted to try this single origin coffee roaster for quite some time and we finally stopped in For a late afternoon pick me up and boy did it pick us up! We met Ahmed who usually doesn't work at this location who was an absolute gem. Ahmed is so knowledgeable about coffee sourcing and the information he shared was in such a delightful way. He welcomed us and let us know all about the coffee and showed us the most beautiful hospitality, we went with his recommendations and he did not steer us wrong. They are getting in an Ethiopian variety in a few days which sounds like it's going to be really good. I love the minimalist sharp clean Vibe and the coffee and service was fantastic. We tried a cortado and a cold brew their cold brew is a true 24-hour slow drip. I wish I had taken a picture of the unique looking contraption they use to make their cold Brew. Flavorful, but not too sugary which I liked. A great pick me up for the day. I also tried my friend's Guava Basil Matcha Latte and it was solid as well. I saw one outlet, but I'm unsure if they have wifi. For parking, there's spots in the nearby Pavilions parking lot or around it. Overall, a solid spot for coffee drinks in the area.

My wife took some good photos of the place while I mostly sat and enjoyed my coffee. The location is right near the Mountain Road beach access stairs and I took my coffee on a walk down to the water -- it was high tide, so the ocean was all the way up to the bottom of the steps, but there was a nice view and the ocean spray in the morning was refreshing.

They do play music so noise level is average with the typical coffee shop. Sounds as well. What I really loved was the multitude of sitting areas around the whole coffee shop and also a little play area for toddlers. (Kitchen play) next to the door -- so adorable! Drink 5/5 I got a small lavender latte, it tastes super flavorful, strong lavender flavor, and I asked for a little bit light sweetness (less honey). Sometimes when I get lavender lattes, they have a little bit of bitter aftertaste, but this wasn't the case at all. They also have awesome looking seasonal flavors that I'll have to come back to try sometime.
