One of the best all around breakfast places I've been to in a long time. I came in around 10am with a group of 12 people and they had no problem working with such a large group. The donutes here were FANTASTIC. I had a the croussiant breakfast sandwich special. It was so big that I really didn't need to eat anything the rest of the day (and I am 200lb man). The place was usual for jelly but the kitchen has gone down the tubes. The kitchen has separate music from radio that conflicts with the seating music. So you'd be listening to chill vibes competing against Funkytown. The food was room temp and cold. Ordered the ultimate bacon biscuit. It was precooked. Bacon refrigerator cold. Gravy room temp. For how long the lines are and how frequently the kitchen is backed up at this establishment, the food is pretty underwhelming. Friendly staff but not enough people for how many patrons the establishment can handle. Stopped in this morning for breakfast on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. First off, being Mother's Day I was surprised the wait was only about 15 minutes. Once we were seated, at the bar (which I highly recommend) the exceptional service was immediately apparent. Our server was Katie - she has tons of energy and couldn't be nicer! Not sure if she's an owner or not but if she isn't she definitely carries the culture well and alone was enough to make us come back. We were given some great recommendation for food and then also a special coffee (dopio cuba cubano something or other - just order it, it's amazing). I ordered the red flannel hash (beets, bacon, onions, etc) with poached eggs, which was not my favorite as it was too sweet but unique and a nice change nonetheless and the eggs were perfect. My girlfriend ordered the eggs benedict on Katie's recommendation and it was absolutely delicious - the ham was thick cut and full of flavor and the bearnaise sauce was impressive. We are definitely looking forward to going back and trying some of the other options as it was tough to choose - it all looked good. read more

Come early on a weekend to avoid long lines or if you're only two, just hop on the bar - service there is great and it's comfortable. What I love most about Jelly is the portion sizes, you're full but you don't feel like rolling out of the place. And all the food is so fresh and tasty, I particularly love their scrambles. I have dined here for breakfast twice,and had an excellent experience each time. The first time, my sister and I were seated at the bar, and the barista was incredibly friendly - asking us our names and actually remembering them throughout the meal - she seemed to know everyone who walked in by name, which I found pretty impressive. She also made a delicious pumpkin latte with a heart on top! :) The food was delicious and I feel that the menu offers a diverse selection. The second time I dined here was with my best friend who was visiting from Chicago. We both enjoyed our meals and coffee drinks very much. Very cute decor - although I must admit I'm a bit of a sucker for all things cereal. This place is literally thee best breakfast place I have everrrr been too. I consider myself an avid bruncher. Jelly cafe exceeded all of my expectations. Our table tried the Sriracha donuts and the bacon ( of course). The service was great. While we waited we got coffee and the chai was incredible. The barista even put a pretty foam flower in my mug. I had the salmon scramble with goat cheese. The boys had something or other with a bunch of bacon. This place is great, worth the wait. Sit at the bar if you can catch a spot. We all know Jelly is amazing! I would give it four stars because of the constant waits they have but....it's not their fault they're popular! Definitely don't go on a weekend if you can help it because you'll be waiting for an hour at least. So worth it once you get inside however. My boyfriend and I found this place by chance! Being in Denver Colorado for the pest time I've been SURVIVING off of YELP! No joke :D . This is my second visit to Denver, and I love this place! The tres leches pancakes were awesome! This is a must visit breakfast place. Having a one person restroom was a bit inconvenient, though. The restaurant is filled very quickly and a line forms for the restroom very quickly. I had to leave and use a restroom elsewhere. That aside, excellent place. read more

Their location is great on the corner of pearl and 13th, especially with that patio. The staff is so friendly and welcoming! I've returned to Jelly since opening weekend and have to add a star to my rating. I've had the curry chicken sandwich which simple but flavorful. K loved his biscuit and gravy at lunch one day that I ordered the vegetarian version the next time I visited for breakfast. It was a divine bite of liquid Thanksgiving stuffing. I suggested to the waitress that Jelly market this gravy for the holidays. I know I'd buy a quart of it for turkey day. We also tried the chocolate donut holes which I liked better than the jelly and cinnamon sugar ones. The pancakes are thin, but still manage to be fluffy. K's chicken scramble with carmelized onions and swiss cheese was fine, but not as great as the biscuits. The only downfall to this place is its popularity so expect a wait on the weekends. We got there at 8:30 for a Saturday breakfast and there was already a short wait. read more

I thought it was good but too greasy & not very lean cuts of meat. I would not order that again. Tried a couple bites of a bacon pancake & it would be awesome if you loved bacon (just not my cup of tea). The atmosphere is wonderful (very hip & artsy feeling). The service was impeccable. Our server offered for us to move to a different table because my friend has very long legs & we were in a small half booth. She was knowledgable about the menu, prompt, friendly & all of the above for a great server. Prices were reasonable in my opinion & it's in a nice location in Capitol Hill on the corner of 13th & Washington. I would wait any amount of time for this place over Snooze ANY DAY! The walls are adorned with old cereal boxes, the brick work is reminiscent of prohibition-era Denver and the orange tabletops scream fun. As for the menu...buckle up. I had bacon pancakes and Crème Anglaise Donut Bites and my girlfriend had Roasted Turkey Benedict. They have perfected the art of putting bacon in pancakes, the donut bites were hot and gooey and the Hollandaise was creamy and perfectly tart. All in all, this is an incredible place.
