Ok.. I am not someone to knock.down a bussiness. But i am.not sure if we just went in on a bad day or it is a constant problem. Pros: The prices are just great! 7 bucks for a combo meal, there is a special for a hamburger for like 5 bucks including drink. Kids meals are about 4 bucks. Guest service is good.. the lady that helped us was friendly and kept checking on us (wasnt over doing it either) Cons: Food was just blant and cold. The fries were cold, and it almost tasted as if they were made im old oil. The salad didnt have anything but lettuce and ranch (no croutons, or cheese, or tomato, onions.nada!!) My son had mac and cheese and he is not very picky and he still didnt like it. I heard good things and i read good things about this place, so not sure what happened that specific day. read more

Been here a few times and love the staff. This is where my family will frequent and we adore a waitress named Mia! Best service and food! We even bring fam from out of state to enjoy a nice brunch here. It's been about a month but made a horrible choice this past Sat and went to try out another place of off palm and baseline. I would give 0 stars if I could. Wasted gas because I called and a man employee answered saying they closed at 9 pm. I got to this location at 8:24 and all doors where locked and no lights on. Why tell a client a time if your not going to be open. Honestly very upset. read more

It's ok. The food is ok. They do have great bacon. But I asked for my eggs hard scrambled and it still came soft. The waitresses are not very nice almost seemed like it was a bother to serve us. I know my family can be a little hard to serve but we got that attitude before we sat down. It's not really worth going to for that kind of service and food that's only meh. read more

Honestly Jenny's it's self I love. Only reason I'm rating a 2 star is due to a snobby waiter that looks like she is on drugs. I was at breakfast with my parents which is elders and my son. She kept rolling her eyes and catching a attitude with my parents. Don't get me wrong they forget things but still didn't make it right. All my mom wanted was different toast because it was way to hard to chew. She told my mom okay and rolled her eyes then made a fist and made a sound that a toddler with make when they throw a Tantrum. I confronted her. She started screaming telling me to sit down and I got into it with her. She makes Jenny's look bad. All the other waiters are great and food is delicious they just need to get rid of her. My family and I have frequented Jenny's for many yrs, birthdays, gatherings and wkly breakfasts. The customer service has been good at least 98% of the time.. The staff seem a cohesive group and take pride in getting to know their regular customers even by name and by their usual food orders. The food portions are sizable and does not disappoint in taste. The staff and cooks do their best to accommodate/adjust requests to add or or modify food items. It's just the kind of "mom and pop" shop where you feel at home and there aren't many left. We appreciate efforts to maintain quality, cleanliness and hospitality for customers. Although some prices have gone up from what was, this place is always packed with family and locals who have made Jenny's their routine restaurant for flexible "meet and greets." We appreciate the post pandemic return of Jennys restaurant and hope they will stay a part of the local community. Stop in for a visit you won't be disappointed. read more

Always packed for breakfast means there's good food inside. I always gauge a restaurant by the cars in the parking lot. This is were you go to get a full meal, and avoid the overpriced fast foods. There's a few lunch, and dinner items that are not my cup of tea. I like the patty melt. I've heard the chicken fried steak is a good breakfast item, and I love their pancakes and homefries. If you want breakfast on the weekends expect a crowd, and you can seat yourself. This is where folks that grew up on a farm, worked the range, or know what food is. read more

This place is so awesome for its prices and the amounts of food that you get for the price. Put it this way if you can spend $35 to $40 dollars at a place called IHOP for the little food you get you can spend way less here and get way more food for the price and it tastes amazing!!!! Stopped here for breakfast on our way back from Big Bear. We expected a wait being that it was Saturday at 12:30, but nope! We were seated right away! First of all, I loved the decor! Totally 50's diner! Red booths, black & white tile and all! Our server was Kaylee. She was wonderful! Super sweet and helpful. My husband really enjoyed his corned beef hash. I ordered the chicken fried steak with a biscuit & gravy. I liked it, although there was just too much gravy on my meat. It took away from the good crunchy batter. It tasted great though. Next time I'll just ask for gravy on the side. We will definitely add this spot into our Big Bear adventures from now on! read more

We have been here a couple of times and it had been good. However this last visit was not good at all! It was so bad that we will not be returning. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find this little gem in our neighborhood. Jenny's was spotless with an "A" rating and a very cute vintage diner vibe with lots of red, white and stainless steel. The food was excellent, well-cooked, generous portions and not at all greasy. My husband had a pattie melt and I did a tuna melt, both perfectly toasted with rye bread. My husband said he hadn't had a sandwich that good since he left New York. The waitress was very friendly and attentive and made great recommendations. We were very happy with our experience and will definitely be going back on a regular basis. read more

Been there twice. Staff is not very friendly First time food ok. Got burger special. Good for price. Second time horrible. Waitress was very rude and seemed bothered to be there. My mom asked a question about the soup and she rolled her eyes before giving half an answer. Was a task to get drinks refilled. Mom ordered a special that we thought had a bowl of soup. Half sandwich and salad. Salad never came. Maybe we misread but menu had been taken so we couldnt look. Didn't dare ask. I got a cheese omelet. Which was the eggs with two sliced of hard and cheap processed cheese on top. Was not even melted. Toast was made with very cheap and dry bread. One small spot of butter was visible on one slice. Went here today and the service was horrible! The waitress was rude and condescending. She even went to the point of coming out to the parking lot to yell at me because I didn't leave her a tip to her liking. She was snarky with her responses each time we ask for assistance and rushed us when trying to order. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was too busy working in the back. I have eaten her several times before and was treated kindly but this employee was horrible and the owner didn't make it any better since he was too busy to hear the customer out. This is after I insisted to speak to someone when the waitress came outside to the parking lot. I tried to explain to him what happened and he really didn't care. The food is fantastic. Breakfast anyway. Prices are fair. Portions are big. Where they go wrong is their customer service. My family has been here multiple times with multiple groups of friends and customer service with a particular waitress ( tattooed arms) is what has stopped us from coming back. She is rude. Doesn't care about our food being wrong or cold. She just walks off And ignores us. She throws the check on the table instead of nicely handing it to us. We've had this problem multiple times with the same waitress and for some reason we always get the same one! The worst part is that when we finally brought it up to the owner he acted as though he didn't care one bit. When we told him we don't be coming back because of the consistent bad customer He said "sorry you feel that way" and walked off. Now that's bad customer service when the owner of the store doesn't even try to make up for their employees mistakes or at least own up to it and apologize for the bad customer service. We went back to Jenny's after about two years, and I can report that it's improved considerably. The owner must have cleaned house, including the manager. Our server, and the others that we observed, was friendly, efficient and actually had a personality. Our group met there the past two Sundays at 9:30 for breakfast, and the place was really crowded. The first time we were seated in the side room, but yesterday we had a bit of a wait and squeezed into a booth. Fortunately, there were six of us instead of eight this time. The place was amazingly busy both Sundays, and today as well, for lunch, so they must be doing something right. Our food arrived quickly and was presented well. Guess we'll have to put this place back on the list. I might have given them five stars except for some of the cheap ingredients that they use, like margarine instead of butter, which bother my wife's allergies. Also, the strawberries on the waffle were obviously frozen, but for the price charged and the portion sizes, it's a good value for the money. read more

Awesome skillets! I love this place. Yes it can be a little loud, but its a diner not fine dining. So roll in, and no matter what you are wearing as long as you have the bare minimums you will fit right in. The booths are spacious. I ordered the Fillet of Sole dinner. (Wasn't expecting battered fish! Didn't say so on the menu!) The so called fish, what very little there was, was so heavily battered with hardly any fish inside!! I literally had to cut through this very thick, deep fried crust, which I didn't eat, to look for the fish. There were only a few flakes inside, Not exaggerating! The vegetable side was "canned" mixed veggies that was too awful to eat. The baked potato was good and the salad was "fair", Would have been better if the lettuce was fresh with no brown leaves or mushy tomatoes. Never again! read more
