Been here a handful of times as this is the closest location to my home in Aliso Viejo. Ty is always attentive, friendly, has a great attitude and a smile and just has wonderful customer service skills. Love the number nine Italian night ingredients are fresh, including the bread which somehow in a sandwich / sub shop is often overlooked. I usually take mine to go and head to the beach and they're kind enough to always put the oil and vinegar in a separate container so my sandwich just it gets soggy but they do have a great out oupatio. Always clean from the front ordering counter to the restrooms and everything in between including the outside patio. I know some people will read this review and think good gosh lady, it's a sandwich shop or think I must know Ty, but I don't. I believe it's important to recognize someone's hard work and customer service, especially in a time where it's practically nonexistent anymore. This is a decent Jimmy John's store in that it has staff that pay attention to you, smile and work to satisfy you. During my last visit, I asked them to not toast the sandwich I ordered; they did toast it. When I told them about it, they apologized profusely, redid my order and told me to keep the toasted sandwich. They also apologized again when I was walking out of the store; genuine mistake followed by a genuine apology. read more

shout out to Ty, Max & Alex for their wonderful customer service & top of the line sandwich skills! yesterday i left my card (likely sitting in the card reader before rushing out the door to pick up my daughter) & realized the next day. i called to confirm & came by at 7:30 on the way home. Alex had it ready for me, he immediately recognized me & handed me my card. it's so nice to be remembered when you come to a place often. Ty & Max are also awesome, they remember my order (chicken bacon ranch combo with kickin ranch instead of regular & add cucumbers) & my food is always delicious. their cookies are amazing too, my favorite is the lemon sunshine. i don't even like lemon that much but that cookie is a yellow circle of joy. one time i literally bought six or seven to go, zero regrets. thank you so much to the honest & hardworking staff at this location; i come in a couple times a week without fail for the delicious food & friendly service. sandwich love! read more

I love the sandwiches here, but I feel like the hours at this location are insanely variable. I've checked this store's hours on both Google and Yelp and have shown up well before closing, only to arrive to a closed store. A few weeks ago I showed up 1 hour before closing only for the store to be closed. Then just today (04/19/2026) I showed up 2 hours before closing, and it was closed yet again. I've been reading how Jimmy John's have been skimping on their portions because this is the THIRD time in a row I've gotten ripped off. I get the spicy east coast Italian, it's supposed to have double protein on it. They've given me what looks like less than what they put on the Vito. If you care about your health, don't come to this location. I have given them multiple chances and I understand the pandemic has caused issues but the same two employees constantly handle cash at the register and then go and make your order with the same gloves on.... Then when you kindly ask them to change gloves they throw a fit and go in the back room. We were in the area for a few days and came here twice. We like Jimmy John's, it so much better than the other nationwide sandwich chain that sounds like "Subway's". It was just 2 of us that came on the first day. It was an early lunch, maybe around 11am. Our day started super early around 5:30 so we were ready for our first bite of the day. It was very quiet inside, maybe just other 1 patron. I had the #4 turkey with many of the veggie add-ons and it was super yummy! Made just the way I ordered it and it totally hit the spot! We came back later that day with the big group. Maybe about 10 kids and 5 adults. They handled big group like it was just a walk in the park. Sandwiches were made quickly and accurately. Very good sandwich joint, especially for a chain. The employees freshly slice the meet in front of you (rather than it being pre packaged like a Subway). Additionally, they are very liberal with the toppings. My favorite go to is the Philly cheesesteak with chipotle mayo grilled into the bun. The request isn't on their menu however they were very accommodating to my request. They feel like they are busier during lunchtime vs dinner. Horrible customer service. The short tiny girl didn't even greet us when we came in or ask what we wanted. She just stood there with a creepy stare with her dumb mask on. We ordered and she was muttering back the order under her mask behind the plexiglass. We waited about 15 minutes for our sandwiches and the girl with the streaked hair who helped make them didn't tell us they were ready. The 2 guys and the girl with the streaked hair should be wearing hair nets because their hair was hanging out. We spent almost $70 on our food and you would think they would greet us, say goodbye, or thank us. We came back in a few minutes later to buy cookies and the same thing. These kids look like they hate their jobs and act like the customers are bothering them. The owner and the manager needs to do some serious retraining or you will lose a lot of business. I read the other 1 and 2 star reviews, this seems like this is a reoccurring problem. The only reason I come here is because the sandwiches are good.
