Today I went in to Jersey mikes in Paso today. Only two people working their butts off! I waited patiently... they had a big order in front of me ordering... and a few people showed up behind myself. One man, had an issue with wearing his mask and started to be loud a bit and try and argue about "the mask police". The man and woman working were calm and sweet when the issue arose. I say kudos to them! They were busy making orders and doing their best! and I commend them for upholding the mask policy. Both deserve a raise in my opinion. I normally love jersey mikes. However my experience at the paso robles location made me sad today. My kids and i orderded one sandwhich. The woman started making it then walked away. For over 5 minutes. I asked the girl at the register and she said she went to make online orders. We were the only customers in the store. Nobody made our sandwhich. It sat there. Waiting. So did we. It was another 10 minutes before we got our sandwhich. It was really good but the service really lacked. I asked the original lady why she left and she said online orders come first. Sad. read more

The female employee with the blue colored hair and tattoos could use a major attitude adjustment on top of not being rude when a customer's order was clearly misplaced or taken by someone else. Seriously don't waste your time with this place. Apparently it's a franchise and they have not trained the employees in the most basic customer service skills. I've been here several times and they have a problem every time. Every. Single. Time. After today, I'm done. We're in quarantine, but we ordered from them because they said they were donating 20% to Feed America or something so we thought we would be supportive. It seems we cared more about the fundraiser than the employees at this place. I ordered through the app and it was supposed to be ready in a half hour, so I got there 40 minutes later to be sure. My order was not only not ready, they said they never got it. Then, "oh it didn't print". Not sure what that means other than it's not my fault. No apology, took another 11 mins to make my order. By then, the place was full of walk-ins and poor bastards like me who ordered by app and then...this is classic, one of the 3 employees says, "I'm going on break". Staff is rude, touches their hair with gloved hands then your food. Requires you to wear a mask but doesn't actually wear them when not in front of you. Don't wear them properly. WOW! It doesn't look like much on the outside! I was super hunger so I decided to walk right in! Then I saw heaven come straight to my eyes. The sandwiches were so good! I ordered 3 Sandwiches one for me, and one for each of my two boys. They said it was the best sandwich ever! I also said the same thing! Slow due to the process of making the sandwich. Lots of choices and custom made. And too much lettuce but oh well. You will not only pay over $8 bucks for a sandwich but the cashier will get you at the payment processing. When you use a credit or debit card, it will ask you a tip question with the minimum of 10%. She didn't smile. Just an awkward process of pressuring people for a tip at a counter service. Tell the cashier to smile at customers or work somewhere else. Everyone else was nice. Why the pouty face? I recommend paying cash and avoiding the crummy look from the cashier. Nobody bused my table, and I didn't see anyone doing lot-and-lobby. I had high expectations when I first saw the name, as I am from NJ and just visiting the area. The subs (we call them hoagies) are nothing like what we have back home. I asked for a cheesesteak with grilled onion and mushrooms- a standard back home. The girl looked at me like I had two heads. When I asked for ketchup and relish I got the same look. Mediocre at best. Heard lots of good things about this chain so I thought I'd check it out. First off, there was about 19 people in line and 4 employees of which only 1 and sometimes 2 were actually making sandwiches. So it took quite a while. Once we finally got up to the point of placing our order, I will say the girl at the counter taking the orders was friendly. If you are vegetarian, there is very little option. I ordered the vegetarian sandwich #14, which consisted of Swiss and provolone, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, and their seasoning/dressings on whole wheat, regular size. Sounds taste right? Talk about bland. Glad I didn't get the large, that would have been a waste of money. I could have gotten a more flavorful foot long sandwich for $5 instead of a smaller one with less flavor, less options and nearly $8. Also the beverages are Pepsi products, which I will pass on. read more

Went to the Paso Robles, CA location on January 14, 2018 because my father and I saw an ad on TV for a steak-filled cheese steak that looked, and sounded, pretty good. I've never been disappointed in Mike's in the past, other than some of the menu options, but still found some sandwiches that I really liked ... until now. After making the 20 minute drive to get to the local Mike's (which I would eat at more than nasty subway if there were a more convenient location for people like me), ordering our sandwiches, and then making the 20 minute drive back home, we eagerly opened our sandwiches and started eating them. They were quite flavorful, I will admit that. The flavors were good, but ..... the meat was absolutely terrible, and on par with (nasty) subway, which I've found a few sandwiches I can stomach, but overall, Mike's is far better. It seemed that every bite I took I I bit into a big, tough, almost like rock, piece of gristle in the meat. I probably ended up spitting out half of the meat from half of the sandwich I couldn't finish, because it was seemingly all Grade F meat. My father had the same issue as I with the quality of his meat. He ordered the regular and I ordered the giant, and sadly, I had to throw the second half of my sandwich out because of the very poor quality of the meat. What a waste of money and time. Now I'm going to have to stick to a very limited menu at Jersey Mike's Subs because of the poor quality of the beef, which is sad. I now worry about the beef products, to include the pastrami, and the chicken, other than the chicken parm. I really expected better than Mike's as everything, until this point, seemed superior to subway. read more

My boyfriend and I had ordered 2 giants mikes way threw door dash ($16 for 1 and $18 for the other). Well when they got here after 45 minutes they came with nothing but meat and cheese. I called the store and the girl said there is nothing I can do until tomorrow since today is a weekend and I have to come in if I want it resolved.
