I would probably give this restaurant five stars for their food. The people that work there are nice but I have one big gripe. I have been going in there consistently for about a year to buy gift cards for different occasions, it is my kids favorite deli place. More often than not, they have no gift cards. And I mean almost every time I go in there they have no gift cards. Is this management? How difficult is it to call your head office and say you need more gift cards. I know that they have lost out on a lot of money for me and I have also heard from lots of people especially around holidays that they go in there and they have no gift cards. Very good sandwiches we ate here twice fair food for a fair price. The staff was nice and efficient. They slice everything in-front of you so you get that fresh deli tastes instead of the processed frozen meat taste. Top of their category for fast-food party sandwich shops. read more

Delicious.. I love the original Italian sub. Dressed properly like a sub should be and isn't overly complicated; just the essentials. Meat sliced fresh to order. This is one case where I think the wheat bread actually tastes better than their French bread. Every sandwich I've gotten from here has been stacked high and the regular should be more than enough for a normal human.They look kind of small while they are being assembled , but they have so much stuff stacked on them that the sandwich ends up being huge. Even though this place is a chain, they still have one of the best Italian subs in the county, it's even up there with High Street. I suggest getting "mikes way" , and adding mayo, mustard, pickles and banana peppers. Friendly staff too. read more

The BEST sandwich place ever. I've been to the one in Santa Maria before and was stoked to hear they opened one in Paso. My boyfriend and I ordered 2 giant sandwiches and paid around $25. My wife and I came for lunch today. It was our first time and will be our last. Both of our sandwiches were soaked with oil and vinegar, saturating the bread. I REALLY like their sandwiches a lot. But on two occasions, when preordering online, they got it wrong. The first time, a regular sandwich wasn't in the bag. The second time, while driving to pick up my order, they called to tell me that they're out of wheat bread (my sandwich bread). So I asked for white. Out of that too. All they had was Rosemary Parmesan or gluten free. I asked for gluten free. They say that, since I already paid and gluten free costs more, I'll have to pay the difference. Sandwiches are good. Not out of this world great, but a very good sandwich. And MUCH better than subway or that other sub place by Cool Hand's. Very friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. To start with this review I just want to say that for their type of business they have a great product. Where my issue is with how they relate to customers with a complaint. I went there to order dinner for the family and was told only after waiting in line for about 8 minutes that they only had three halves left . They could have told the two new customers who just entered this store The customer ahead of me was told it would be another 20 minutes before the next batch of bread would be ready. They have been open for a while now and this really shouldn't happen . So I'll say the asst. manager is to blame on that one. This isn't the first time this has happen to me. I came in at 6 pm. I would say that is the end of their rush hour or maybe the middle. The Asst. manager said if I had a complaint to go put it on yelp. I instead asked for the owners phone number so I could talk to him privately about this issue. I was given his name an a number to call. I waited to call on Monday since this happened on a Friday evening. The same Asst. manger answered and said if I had a complaint put it on yelp again. I asked for her to give the owner my phone number so he might call me. I never heard from anyone. So I am putting this on yelp. Came here three weeks ago asked for club, they said they were out of Roast Beef. Came here last night and asked again for club they said it just came out of oven, so no roast beef again. I did attempt to order a different sandwich. I'm the only one in line, and she starts to make my sandwich which I ordered the 8" she cuts about an inch off the loaf and throws it in the trash. Really?? What really bothered me, she stops making my sandwich to help the lady that walked in after me, and leaves me waiting. In actuality I'm glad. Really great sandwiches, although it was a bit expensive. The people who made my sandwich switched halfway through which made me reluctant to give a tip. They also didn't ask me if I wanted it "to go" or not, so they gave me the togo bag. I ate the sandwich in the restaurant though because that was my original plan. Other than that the sandwich was pretty good, but I did taste a bit of pickle juice which was unexpected and unpleasant. Their brownies are bomb though. Probably wouldn't go here with a family member. Just a place to get a lunch when I'm feeling like spending a bit more money. read more

Had the reg roast beef sandwich today. I can say it wasn't really anything special. Very thin pieces of beef and loaded with lettuce. Was asked if I wanted it Mike's special, I quess it means a lettuce sandwich with a hint of meat and saturated in oil. I feel the prices are high for what you get. The staff were very welcoming and informative about the menu and helping me narrow down my decision and we decided on the chicken parm. The price was pretty steep over $14 for a giant sandwich (which didn't look Giant) but the chicken you could tell was high quality, the cheese was really yummy the bread on the otherhand was underwhelming and I didn't like the cornmeal or whatever at the bottom of the bread (it's messy) Giving this 2 stars for meat and cheese plus another for the sweet staff. read more

Very disappointed, felt it was very overpriced for what I received. Ordered the turkey wrap with honey mustard that tasted like someone literally squirted a bunch of honey into the mustard- way too sweet, very one dimensional, not good flavor. Literally all it was was a modest amount of lettuce, a ridiculous amount of semi Bland turkey, the disgusting honey mustard and tortilla. No tomato or onion or any other ingredients. read more

This place makes great East-coast style sandwiches. The Original Italian totally rocks! The ingredients seem like they are high quality. Not all sandwiches are listed on the menu board, but they will make any sandwich that is shown on their web site...if you ask. Other reviews say the prices are too high but I don't think so. Given the quality, prices are reasonable. Staff is very friendly, in fact, I'd be happier if they dialed back a little on the "how's your day go'in?" stuff. I've been to other Jersey Mike's shops such as the ones in Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria. They probably have the best sandwiches I've ever had. It always seems to be perfect. Not this time. The Paso Robles one still tastes good but there are a few flaws. To begin, this Jersey Mike's has a longer wait time than other locations. I won't judge too hard because they do actually have a drive through. They put a few things on the sandwich on wrong which lead to it not being as good. Lastly, the outer crust of the bread was pretty hard and awkwardly shaped. Like I said, this place is still good, just not as good as others. read more

Really 2 sandwiches $20 not a value for any family....ordered on line what a joke still waited 10 minutes. Staff said they needed more help when I arrived only one group of customers and they had ordered 3 sandwiches sitting down and eating. Floors were a mess....you got a dirty vibe The #17 was ok lack luster at best and the franks chicken wrap was a mess too much liquid not enough Franks could not eat this in the car. If I could give less than one star I would. I received an ad for 50% of all subs with free delivery in my email yesterday so I tried calling the Paso Robles store that is closer to me. This was just before 6pm. I tried several times but the phone rang with no one picking up. I called another Jersey Mikes store that was farther away to see if they were all closed and someone answered right away and told me all their stores were open till 7pm. So I drove to Paso Robles store and found the door locked though the Open sign and all the lights were on. I could see 2 people in the back room so I called their number again while standing outside their door and still no one picked up. I knocked loudly and no one came out. I was walking back to my car when I saw one of the girls come out of the room. I went back to their door and when she saw me she ran back into the room. I pounded on the door and they ignored me. I am guessing they wanted to close early. This was very unprofessional and frustrating. We wanted to use the free delivery to avoid being out when we needed to stay home and instead we were out trying to find another place to pick up dinner. I won't be going back there and this has soured me on Jersey Mikes. read more

I heard of jersey mikes subs but never had one near me. I moved Paso Robles I decided to try it out, I went total 4 times and first visit was the best sub I had in long time. The other visits was like I was eating at Subway shop , less meat , greasy steakswich, putting wrong meat and cheese. Stale bread made soggy with excessive vinegar and oil dressing. Somehow the roast beef stayed dry though, but couldn't taste it regardless because of all the vinegar. I ordered my sub through the app. When I arrived to the store I told the person at the cash register I was here and I'd be sitting at the table by the soda machine. I waited and waited. Finally, 10 minutes after the quoted time by the app I went to go cancel my order. The kid at the register said "What's the name? Oh man that orders been ready for a long time". I asked him why he didn't announce it was ready? I told him I'd been sitting at my table waiting. He said "Sorry I didn't know." I grabbed my sandwich and went home. Ordered two subs last night. Usually are great. Two young female sandwich makers cheated us. Half the usual meat, got one order completely wrong, half the requested trimmings completely left off, because they were in such a hurry. No one else was in line. They obviously wanted to finish so they could go back to playing online or something. Owner should check on what happens when he is not there! We wont be going back soon.
