Food was delicious. Service was prompt. Redoing the ceiling tiles so had plastic sheet up at the counter but not an issue.

It's so hard to find a good place for sandwiches. You have some places with pre-sliced "deli" meats that don't really look like high quality and other places are more of an assembly-line setup. Here at Jersey Mike's, everything seems to be higher quality. They have hot and cold sandwiches. The employee told me that they cook the pastrami and roast beef fresh onsite everyday. We ordered the pastrami sandwich and the philly cheesesteak sandwich. It didn't take long to prepare both sandwiches. All I can say is wow. Both sandwiches were super yummy and devoured in no time at all. The inside of the restaurant was clean and well-lit with a good number of tables and seats. The staff are super-friendly, efficient, and very helpful in explaining the menu choices. If you are looking for a great sandwich, look no further and check this place out. Wow, amazing subs! We had some extra time before our Rogue One movie showing at Studio Movie Grill, so we wanted to go someplace for dinner. My husband didn't want a burger or pizza, so we decided to check out Jersey Mike's, which is located right next to Studio Movie Grill. It's my first time there. When we walked in around 8:40pm, we were the only customers, since they were closing up shop at 9pm. Both employees were very friendly and enthusiastic, even after we changed our minds a few times. When we asked what are the popular subs, the employee said that the Italian (can't remember the numbers) and the Philly Cheesesteak were the most popular. My husband was concerned that I would find the prosciutto too salty, however. I was surprised when the employee asked if I wanted to try some. She then cut me a piece of the prosciutto like I was in a deli. That was really neat of her to do that; I don't think I've ever been in a sub place that gives you samples like that. Glad she did though, because it was too salty for my liking. We ended up getting the pastrami Reuben and the Philly cheesesteak. We got the regular size, which ended up being huge! At first I thought it would be small for the both of us but it was surprisingly huge and very filling. The other employee might have been the owner or manager. He walked the subs up to our seat, and then offered to cut both sandwiches after we said we would be sharing them. Amazing subs, great service, can't wait to go back! read more

I've been here three times so far and every time the food has been good. The service staff is friendly, greets you swiftly, and makes it a positive experience. It has a dining area which was clean each time I came. I did take my orders to go though. I feel it is a bit overpriced so onlh 4 stars, but overall quite happy. read more

Every time I eat at this Jersey Mike's, the service is terrific and prompt. I appreciate how clean they keep the food prep area, especially the grill. I often get my sandwich in a tub (without bread) and I love that there isn't any skimping on ingredients. My only wish is that they could find a way to keep the lettuce from being so wet, but I'm not sure how they could accomplish that. Sometimes it takes away from the flavor. Great spot. This place takes SO LONG to make a sub. It is painful. Even when you order through the app, it will still sometimes take an hour to get your 2 sandwich order. Maybe 50% of the guests wear masks. Several times, our order has been incorrect. If you can go to a different location, highly recommended. read more

Their employees are very customer service oriented. And the owner is incredibly nice. My kids were begging for tuna sandwiches but their kids menu only had turkey and ham, the owner overheard me asking the employee and he waved over at her to let me go ahead and order the tuna for their meals. It's the little things like that, that show great customer service. I also brought my brother here for the first time last week and employees were beyond wonderful, when they found out it was his first time they even gave him a free cookie for being a first timer. On 7/17/22 in the mid-afternoon, I went with a friend to grab a few sandwiches for lunch. It was a great experience! This place is not bad. Though pricey for what you do get when ordering regular sized sandwiches. If you bring a appetite and go with a large sized sandwich the damage to your pockets are slightly more acceptable. I order the philly on my visit here and the sandwich was extremely hot the way I like it. The cheese melted in to the meat and was married in to one meaty cheesy stuffing. The bread was okay and the filling was a little short quantity wise in my opinion. I guess I should have gone with the big kahuna but going by pricing I thought the regular sandwich would still be stuffed with quite a bit of meat and cheese but I guess I was wrong. I went in on Saturday and everything was going great until A Karen came in. She said she had called in an order or something. When the employees could not find the order and the woman went into full Karen attack mode. Without letting them look into it she started making demands. The employees put her order front of the line to make and everyone had to wait as Karen complained and complained. The employees were handling pretty good but then the Karen stated she would not be paying for the whole meal. She wanted the manager and was treating the employees like dogs. I'm familiar with this chain from other areas and think it's one of the best sandwich chains out there. Very happy to see it coming to the Sacramento area. This location is kind of tucked away back by the studio grill theater. I ordered one of my old standbys, the #13 Italian, and it was just like I remember from elsewhere! Hopefully the location is good for others - just off of Sierra College, close to I-80. It's in a good spot for me to drop by as I'm headed somewhere, so I'm definitely going to keep it in mind. If you've never tried Jersey Mike's (which probably applies to many in the area since it's new) I definitely suggest giving it a try. I used to work in the area but I got a different job so this is the first time in awhile. The sandwich was good and the issue I had was I called in the order but 20 minutes later I was still waiting. Finally my sandwich came then I waited 5 more minutes just to get my order rung. The guy working the cash register kept taking phone orders so he kept walking away to handle the call. For this reason I give a 4 star rating. For the amount of people working there they were not efficient enough. Have a person just take phone orders during the rush so the cashier can take take of the waiting customers. read more

I've tried this location 3 times before writing this review. 1 good experience and 2 bad. The last two times I got a cold sub and both times it came out soggy because they drench your sandwich in oil and vinegar. So much that when you open the sandwich the paper they wrap the sandwich in is completely covered in oil leaving the sandwich bread soggy and unpleasant. They put your sandwich together on a counter with no paper underneath which means your sandwich gets the leftover oil from the previous sandwich made. They ask you if you'd like it mikes way which is ok but if you want to add anything beware because both times I said no onions add jalapeños and both times they forgot the jalapeños. Service get 1 star because they seem to be in such a rush every time I've tried this location even when it isn't busy. Floors are always dirty and tables covered in oil. read more

We have had outstanding experience at this location in the past. We just ordered sandwiches for six of our family today. Some enjoyed their sandwiches. However, my son and I split a giant #13, our favorite. I've been enjoying Jersey Mike sandwiches for almost 20 years. For the first time ever, this sandwich was horrible. The bread was beginning to be stale, they failed to put enough oil and vinegar (so it was somewhat dry), and there was something definitely wrong with the onions. Dec 30 2017..we going to your store and you guys have no bread no rosemary bread only wheat bread ! who wants a number 13 sandwich on wheat bread ? that loses the flavor. We would of like our sandwich on the rosemary bread but you guys were out of any kind of bread except wheat. We drove to try the Rocklin store to have a nice sandwich .. WHAT NO BREAD??!!! These are some of the best subs I've ever had. It is much better than Togo's and Subway. If you are in he mood for a sub, you should really check this place out. My favorite sandwich is the Italian. I order it "Mike's Way." It is absolutely delicious! Their drink Menu is the typical fountain sodas -- plus they have some iced teas. They usually have sports playing on the TVs to watch and enjoy the food. The people that work at Mike's are friendly and will happily make a recommendation for a sandwich to try. Parking can be difficult sometimes as there is a movie theater right next-door, but don't let that stop you from trying out this great food. read more
