Just had my first sub from Jersey Mike's and have a split opinion. My sandwich tasted good and had good service. The roll on my sub was very good. Everyone keeps comparing this place to Jimmy John's. So it tasted better than Jimmy John's but the size was small. I ordered a medium thinking that should be a good size. Their giant was $14.30 and thought that must be huge but the medium was close to a small from most places. It cost $8.45 plus tax so it was over $9. And the meat when their making it looks like a lot but you're fooled because it's sliced very thin. So it's close to Jimmy John's but doesn't beat but maybe a little better. Firehouse subs is still on the top unless someone can tell me of another restaurant to try? For the older folks I bet you can remember a great sub shop with big sandwiches at a good price? I have a few favorites but their 400 miles away. read more

This was my first time at a Jersey Mike's. All I can say is it wasn't a good impression. My tennis team went there for a quick lunch between matches and the first man, who I think was the supervisor was extremely rude. I don't know if he was upset because a bunch of us came in at once or he was having a bad day. He rudely asked us what kind of bread we wanted (we didn't know what kind). And we wondered why some of us had tickets and some did not. And we were standing in line waiting when he rudely told us if u have a ticket just go and pay at the cashier! U don't have to stand here.... Well how are we supposed to know if we have never been there? I'm giving 2 stars because the Philly cheesesteak was good. Zero stars for service! I go here on a regular basis for my sandwich indulgence. They are always overly staffed which equals a very fast check out. From choosing the sandwich, having it made, to paying is less than 5 minutes. However, since Spring Training has begun they have been very busy and the line may take a little longer. Have never been to a Jersey mikes prior to today and didn't know how they operated I thought it was like subway where they make the sandwich in front of you and you pick you cheese and fixings but I was wrong. I ordered a big kahuna it was made in the back before I can ask for it with provolone instead of American and when it came out And told they I didn't want it made that way they told me "I need to ask at the beginning before it was made" I told them okay and asked if they could make me another and I'd pay for both so it would be easy they repeated to me that I need to ask before hand. And stuck me with the already made sandwich and no new one. I paid $19 for 2 "regular" sized sandwiches with no drinks or chips. A little pricey Good sandwich's may try another location but as far as customer service goes I won't go back to this store. read more

My fiancé and I stopped in to grab a quick lunch. When asked what we'd like, they took our order and quickly rushed us through the line not even asking what other toppings we wanted on our subs. The staff was very rude. when we tried to ask for toppings they gave us the impression that we were inconveniencing them. Every table was dirty so we ended up sitting and eating our lunch at a dirty table. The straws at the soda machine were stuffed into one of the large soda cups and were bendy straws all unwrapped for anyones touching. Doesn't seem very sanitary to me. As we were eating one of the employees kept staring me down and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I ended up asking my fiancé if we could leave because of the looks I was receiving. Found a coupon in the mail for a regular sub meal (sub, chips, and soda) for $6.99 and went in for lunch the other day. Since it was my first visit at a Jersey Mike's, I asked the order taker her recommendation and she said I should go with the #13 - The Original Italian done Mike's Way (all the fixings). It was a good choice and a decent meal, but I noticed the prices without the coupon would have been pretty steep, so I will keep my eyes open for another coupon and try something else next time. read more

Came here with the family a couple weeks back. There was no one behind the counter. We walked around to the front area where you order and...nothing. No one came out. We waited a minute or so before leaving. We could hear the employees in the back, but no one ever came out to help us. We won't be returning here again. read more

Just walked out. Girlfriend and I entered and there was no line or any customers at all. 5 employees. One working the slicer, one working the grill, one making sandwiches, one cleaning in back, and one apparently stocking or getting supplies. No one even looked up or acknowledged us. No, "Hi we'll be with you in a moment." or any attempt to let us know they knew we were there. They did have about 6 or 8 receipts hanging for to go orders. Eventually another customer and her boy came in and got in line behind us. Still nothing. I asked the customer behind us if she could see us, she laughed and said yes. The guy working the sliver had looked up at us a few times but then just looked down again. Finally I said, "Hi!! How are you guys?? We're ready to order." They all looked at is then!! Just your average Jersey Mike's. So all in all the sandwiches were tasty and the staff was polite. I ordered a Turkey sub mikes way. The location had average cleanliness and needed some better lighting. Everything seemed a little dim because of the poor lighting. read more

Our oldest came from home work one evening and absolutely raved about this place so, seeing how we are always looking for something fresh and new in the West Valley, naturally my wife, daughter and I thought it might be a restaurant worth looking into. High priced doesn't begin to describe this place. Over priced is more like it. At a whopping $15.00 a sub (most subs are, on average, between $13.00 - $15.00 for a large) the amount of meat to vegetables and bread ratio is ridiculous. First off, the dressings they use are hardly existent. Couple that with the staples of the sandwich and for the price you would expect a healthy serving of the meats of your choice. Instead you get freshly shaved smatterings of both meat and cheese, and when it comes to the vegetables you almost have to beg for additional lettuce, tomato and pickle. The bread itself appeared flat and overcooked, and unlike it's competitors in the sub sandwich market, fell short of being light and full. The one and ONLY thing I can say that was a positive regarding my visit was that having chatted up the General Manager as he made our four sandwiches, he appeared to be a genuinely nice person - someone easy to get along with, friendly and courteous. As for the Jersey Mike's Subs experience as a whole...let's just say for my money I will not be going back any time soon. read more

Ordered delivery sub in a tub which I paid $3 extra for extra meat, so $12 for salad. Hardly any lettuce, tub was not even full I could see bottom. Definitely not extra meat. When I called. Manager on duty was not helpful or apologetic to my dissatisfaction, would not give his name. Offered no solution to problem. Gave me manager's name. Guess I'll be calling Sergio (if that's his real name) next week. Buyer beware. We have been loyal patrons. I was ordering online for pickup at this place and the website told me that the order would be finished in about 20-25 minutes. Once I had got there, it had been about 30 minutes. I asked them when why food was going to made and they told that they were in the process of making it. I patiently waited twenty more minutes and they said that they were very busy and they were still making it! Obviously, they hadn't even been working on our meal twenty minutes ago. I would have been fine if they told me earlier it was gonna be busy but that wasn't the case. I think that both online and physical orders should be equally paced. Each in person order was taking about five minutes whilst our online order took almost one hour! Other than that, the food was delicious. read more

Usually my fiancé and I don't get good service when we go places but the guy and gal working tonight were super nice and very accommodating and didn't seem annoyed at all. I have been to Jersey Mike's several times in the past and the experiences have always been good. My wife and I went for lunch today with a coupon from both Verizon and Entertainment Book for a buy one get one free. At check out I opened my Enertainment Book app on my phone and brought up the Jersey Mikes buy one get one coupon and i activated the coupon and which point I was informed that they no longer take "3rd party coupons and that if it did not come directly from Jersey Mikes they would not take it". This is the first time this has happened to me and my questions is if you are not taking coupons from Verizon or Entertainment Book why are you putting them out? read more

Worst Experience Ever!! I placed a on line order for two sandwiches. I went to pick up my order which was ready and headed back to work. Once back at work myself and my co-worker noticed that our sandwiches were not made as ordered and missing several items. On previous orders to this location I have had items missing but over looked it assuming to was in error and it was not worth the hassle to go all the way back for some pickles that were missed. This time however I did call the location to let them know that they sandwiches were not done correctly honestly looking for an apologies and may a credit on my next visit for the trouble. Instead the girl who answered the phone said that she did not do my order and would find who did. I then hear them arguing about who filled to order until someone said she filled it and what did I want???? She got on the phone and I explained to her that our sandwiches were not done correctly to which she replied " I made your sandwiches and did the perfectly so I don't know what you are talking about!!" I asked her if she really thought I would come all the way back to work pull items off my sandwich and then call them?? She told me she did not know what I did but that again she made them perfectly!! She finally said I could come back and she would remake them after asking to speak to the manager who of course was not there. Who talks to a customer this way?? I own a business and can not ever imagine speaking to someone like this. I will not be returning. And just a PS when I did get my remade sandwiches they were done correctly this time but in a bit of spike I guess you could say the items that I requested to be added on the first order were only given to us in one piece of each....Professional! read more

Watched an employee drop a piece of meat that they were cutting on the floor take it to the back and then a few moments later bring that same piece of meat from the back and throw it in the cooler where they were grabbing meats to cut. I just ate at Jersey Mike's Subs and the service is what inspired me to write this review! They were polite, helpful, and friendly! I will definitely be bringing my family back to eat here. I had the #7 Turkey and provolone. I really enjoyed the spices and the meat was very good. Its definitely a wet sandwich. Even when one of the girls was on break (she prepared my sandwich) she asked me how I liked it before I left. She offered ways for me to customize it next time I come. Horrible! Ordered a chicken, bacon ranch hot sub and not only was there barely any meat there was a lack in flavor as well. Hardly any lettuce and the wheat bread was mushy.
