Out of all the locations I've been to this one is my favorite. The staff work fast and efficiently. They are welcoming and take time to talk to you even when busy. They build relationships with their regulars with compassion. Hugo the manager, provides exceptional customer service. He is kind and caring to customers and staff. He always has a smile on his face! First off we came in with 10 mins to spare til close. Hugo welcomed us and was very courteous. I ordered a giant Philly cheesesteak for myself and for the family a regular turkey cheese and a regular portobello cheesesteak. Was in and out within 10 mins. He even included a chocolate chip cookie for the daughter on the house. All I can say is that the subs were delicious. Was so excited to see the "coming soon" sign for Jersey Mike's a few months ago. Well now they're open and I couldn't be happier. I've been to other locations before, but it's nice to have one where i live. Being up in New Jersey (insert jokes here), I am extremely picky about "hoagies" as we call them. Mikes is the first place to make a sub that reminds me of the hoagies i had growing up. You have to have the right bread to have any chance of success--and they have it. Just the right amount of crusty balanced with just the right amount of chew. No bubble gum bread here! And no chemicals. The meat is important too. No respectable Jersey sub shop would dare use pre sliced deli sitting in a drawer. No sir. Jersey Mike does it right by slicing to order. Ham, turkey, cappacuolo, prosciutto all sliced in front of you so you know it's fresh. I know what you're thinking and no--it doesn't make for a longer wait to do it right! It just makes a better sub. If you're someone that's spent their life believing Subway was the standard for subs, be prepared for a ctrl+alt+del of your expectations as you reset the bar going forward. No need to confuse yourself with crazy toppings. Just pick a sandwich that suits you and get it "Mike's" way. The staff and management are excellent and open to feedback. Went to get a sandwich tonight and placed an order for two sandwiches. Something extremely simple. When I ordered ahead it said it would be ready between 748 and 757. I did not leave Jersey Mike's until 8:20 PM. I am super frustrated that the lady continued to help people that walked in instead of finishing the two sandwiches that were sitting on the side forever, when the two other coworkers told her that we needed to push through the to go orders, she got all kinds of attitude and was extremely disrespectful to her other employees in front of many customers. If our visit last Friday in any indication, this location is in freefall. the order taker was not paying attention, came off as rude and unattentive. the sandwich maker area was not clean. lettuce and bits of veg and condiments everywhere. the bathroom was seriously disgusting, with the cover of the paper towels ripped off, and zero soap in the dispenser. my wife ordered a turkey wrap, 'Mike Style', it came out just turkey and wrap. My Italian was awful. The kids' sandwiches were huge (cool!) but they weren't stoked this time. Meh responses from the back seat. That's it! Never going back. We live very close and eat here often, both in the restaurant and pick up. My husband is from a town right next to Point Pleasant beach, so we've been eating at this chain for decades before they expanded to CA. This store is pretty good. They normally get my orders correct, I am not an easy order-er. I like all kinds of deviations on my toppings and even create my own subs. They are usually friendly and know what they are doing. The parking is problematic, but I am not going to blame the restaurant. The ingredients are good and fresh. Why 4 stars: their roast beef is always overcooked at this branch. And the amount of meat they put on the sandwiches are light. I always have to order extra meat. Never had to do that at the NJ stores, but it is hit or miss in CA. read more

I am not typically a big sub or sandwich fan. However, I make that exception when I come here after working in my anatomy lab three days out of the week. For some reason after that four hours of class I am starving and this place is just down the road from my place. The best part about this place is the customer service that far exceeds any other place in this town. You can tell that the employees are probably swamped most of the day as the line every time I get there is long and people of course like complex orders. The customer service is always great though and never have attitudes or even the slightest bit of rudeness. Did I mention my order is ALWAYS correct? How many fast food places can you say that about? I bet almost none. The food is really good as it has fresh veggies, delicious meats and "Mike's Way" is the BEST way! I love how the flavors merry each other on a #2 or even on a meatball sub. Yes, I get my meatball subs Mike's Way too (onions raw), because it is absolutely delicious. I have only been to one other sub place that is just as good which is in Beaufort, South Carolina. First time trying Jersey Mike's. Overall, had a decent experience. It's hard to go wrong with a sandwich, but it all depends on the quality of ingredients and preparation. The staff at this location were friendly, and patient with our ordering considering the fact that it took me a while to decide on which sandwich to go with. I ordered the #56, which is the big kahuna. It was a cheesesteak sandwich with all the works. I ordered with my stomach and chose the large lol. Boy was that a big sandwich! Their large sandwich is more than enough for two people and possibly even three people. The quality of the ingredients was satisfactory, and the amount of meat in the sandwich was more than enough. There are a few other sandwich locations that I still consider my favorites, but Jersey Mike's was pretty good overall. I can see myself coming back here when I'm craving a good sandwich and am in the area. If you haven't given Jersey Mike's a try yet, it's worth a visit and trying out one of their sandwiches. read more
