I was watching pizza Youtube videos and I decided to look up Detroit style. This was the closest place and it had a good rating. I ordered a Large 3 topping--pepporini, sausage, and green pepper--a standard all around. Cost was about $21, which isn't too bad for the area and the size. Peppers are chopped small but overall a solid pizza. Sauce is very good and there's a good amount of it on a normal sauce selection. Will buy again. read more

Ordered the detroit style pizza with garlic crust and it was amazing. Crust was excellent with just the perfect amount of crunch and the flavor was awesome. Also ordered the jets turbo bread with bacon. Was pretty good just wish it was more crunchy. It's super soft. Also ordered a thin crust cheese pizza. Wasn't a really big fan of it. The crust was like chewy and not really cooked correctly. But pretty good flavor. Overall I'd come back for that Detroit style. read more

My thin crust cheese pizza took an hour and a 40 minutes to arrive. My estimate was 40-50 minutes. Plan ahead if you bother to order from this location. When I called to find out where my pizza was, which itself is a pain in the ass, the employee was very polite and friendly. My small Greek salad, cheese stick, and thin cheese pizza set me back $40 with delivery and tip which is too much for this quality of food. Usually I don't have issues with this pizza chain in general-- but today this location definitely upset me and their "customer service" only added insult to injury. Do yourself a favor and don't order via Ubereats or any other 3rd party delivery service because their descriptions on the apps are inadequate and lacking. You'll think you're ordering something massive based on their excessive pricing, and then when your order is delivered it's on a mini sized item. You know, I've lived in Chicago my whole life so I know great pizza and I have my favorite places. This is one of them. It's not your traditional Chicago pizza and it's not meant to be. That's got it's whole other basket. Jets pizza is a different basket. It's my favorite in the "commercial pizza" arena. Little Skeezers sucks, Sarpinos is the most foul food I've ever eaten, Domino's is Domino's, Pizza Hut is just mediocre but JETS pan pizza, 8 corner crust is delish. I travel a lot for work, and on a recent project in Michigan, I was introduced to Jet's Pizza. At first I thought, yeah OK, looks like any other pizza chain, can't be that special. Oh boy, was I ever wrong. Jet's Pizza is better than the majority of Chicago's "craft" pizza places, and at a fraction of the price! So when I was driving back from the airport the other week, I saw they had opened a new location, I thought HECK YES! Finally a Jet's near me in Chicago! Went in, and apparently it was their opening day. While they were obviously very busy, the staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Even though there were 4 people in line ahead of me, I was able to order within 2 minutes of walking in the door. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, Cinna-Stix and a Salad. It took about 10 minutes for them to make my pizza fresh, and during that time, I hung out in their immaculately clean lobby and was able to watch the game on a big screen they have there. Took the pizza home and was able to give it a try. It was just as delicious as I remember: A fluffy crust, with the absolutely perfect ratio of crust to pizza. I ordered the flavored Turbo Crust, and the buttery flavor combined with their tasty crust made for what I consider to be one of the best pizzas I have in a long time. I live in Wicker Park, which means I'm not that close, but this place is so good I've actually been back three times. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you won't regret it! read more

When I first heard about it and saw some pictures of their pizzas, I was thinking perhaps this is another Little Caesars type of place? WRONG. Completely different. They offer a great variety of crusts to choose from AND flavors for the crust! I first ordered their deep dish. It was fantastic. I went on to try their hand tossed and thin, which both were delicious! The things that stand out about Jet's is the service and delivery. Customer service is top notch! VERY professional and always helpful. Dan and Brian ( the owners) were part of this excellent customer service. How often do you hear from the owners versus the manager? And for the delivery. Always on time, usually earlier than suggested time. Drivers are always very friendly and the food is always HOT. A friend who grew up in Michigan lives in the area where this Jet's just opened and said to me "you have to try Jet's pizza,it's the best!" So, when I visited her last week-end ( I live in the western 'burbs) we went over to the Kimball location. They just opened a few days before and were super busy. For a "take out pizza joint" this place was incredible!! Very spacious, brightly lit, cheerful and very inviting. This was only the beginning...counter person who took our order asked if we had been to a Jet's before and when I said I had not, she said welcome and proceeded in a cheerful manner to answer my questions. We ended up ordering their Signature 8 corner turbo crust pizza, with green pepper, mushrooms and sausage, only a 20 minute wait! One of the business partners at this location actually was back in the kitchen supervising, brought the pizza out to us, and thanked us for coming in! Wow! What service! Best part was yet to come! Pizza was awesome! Sicilian style buttery crust. Just the right amount of well seasoned sauce, great tasting melt in your mouth cheese and at a great price! I am now a Jet's pizza fan! read more

Seriously, it's that good. When the place first opened up, I (incorrectly) assumed that it was some generic pizza joint with tomato sauce-smeared cardboard masquerading as food, but I could not have been more wrong. One taste and I was an instant fan. I've never dined in at this location, so I can't comment on the decor or ambience or any of that. I ordered jets for delivery for the first time this afternoon and I ordered a pan pepperoni pizza & an order of the cinnamon sticks. Delivery was very quickly but when the delivery person came to the door, he told me that there was a mistake made in making my pizza I guess they had made the crust regular when I ordered the turbo so jets fixed the mistake by sending an additional pizza for free. I honestly could not tell the difference between the two crusts but I appreciate their efficiency. Over all both pizzas were delicious and I could tell that the ingredients were very fresh; the cinnamon sticks were also pretty good. read more

Because this is a pizza place, I'm giving the stars based only on the pizza. I would describe Jets Pizza sauce as oddly tangy and generally off-putting. Their pizza in general reminded me of Little Caesars. It looked cheap. I ordered garlic butter crust which tasted odd and fake. Overall I only ate half the pizza and threw away the rest. I will not order their pizza ever again. Their cheese sticks (the original and 3 cheese) are awesome. We have so many choices for pizza in Chicago I haven't seen a reason to try this one, a strip-mall chain place that appears to be proliferating around town. I got suckered in by an ad online that offered $2 small pizzas and 20 cent slices. Like you might imagine, when I showed up a family was in the parking lot throwing their hands in the air in disappointment. A scrawled sign on the door said they were out of the special pizza. I don't know how a pizza place can "run out of small pizza." Are the crusts made in advance? Don't get it. It sounds to me like they just didn't want to honor the special. No loss, I've heard the place is comparable to Little Caesar's or Chuck E. Cheese, but I tried to give it a chance. And all I got was a bait and switch. I have to say I've really become quite addicted this place's square pie. Light and crunchy.. it's delicious. Hands down favorite would be the BBQ chicken. BBQ sauce is put on below the cheese and toppings and I was informed by an employee that another thin layer (in kind of a criss cross pattern) is put on before it goes in the oven. The result is the sauce kind of caramelizing over all of the toppings which adds a lot of flavor. I have to say that I found it quite odd that a simple pizza place kept getting reviews on having great customer service, but they really do. Every time I'm there it's super clean, employees are always nice, things are always done on time if not early, and I've met two of the owners who are very friendly as well. All in all I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is in search of some tasty pizza pie. read more

First time ordering from Jet's Pizza. I got a flyer in the post and figured i'd give it a try. I placed my order at the Chicago location located at 3951 N Kimball Ave (Kimball and Irving Park Rd). I called into the store and i spoke with Mark. I had a few questions about things and he did a great job answering them and helping me to order what i needed. I ordered the large square pizza with cheese and hamburger on it. Along with an order of 10 wings (plain) and some Cheesie Bacon bread they had which i found on their website. The delivery came pretty fast and i loved how everything came in its own little boxes. Great for keeping things nice and warm too. The pizza was cooked perfectly as well as the wings and cheesie bread which came with some dipping sauce. The food was definitely excellent, 5 star rating. Plus we were able to put the left overs in one of the boxes and it fit just perfect in the fridge. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends to check out and eat. I am looking forward to ordering again soon. When ordering ask for Mark he took care of me and was great at answering any of my questions. read more

We ordered an eight corners pizza from here tonight. Mushroom, green pepper and black olives with garlic crust. Well done. It was expensive but good. Definitely not well done enough which is typical. We put it under the broiler for several minutes. We are not fans of chain pizza but this is good and unique. Was it worth 30 bucks? No. The garlic crust is serious garlic and delicious but the za was overall a under done. We had to cook it. It is not worth the price. Sorry. I like it a lot but there is plenty of good za in the city and this is way too expensive. If the price was aligned with competition, it would be worth it. And I don't mean the nasty chain pizza, I mean the decent local spots. The customer service and quality is good but the price is double what it should be. read more

This place is garbage. Ordered for delivery from them on Eat24 at around 10:15 last night. First, I get a confirmation saying they're ' busy and need extra time' and so I won't be getting my pizza until almost midnight. By 12:15, still no pizza. So I call, no answer. Finally I contact Eat24 support, who informs me that they closed at 10:45. So why the hell did they accept my order?? Completely unprofessional. Will never patronize them again.
