Recently relocated here & Jets instantly became our FAVORITE pizza place. Pizza is ALWAYS delicious but I'm not too happy at all with their night staff, hence the missing stars. I called at 8:20 on Thursday (9/24), was asked to hold, I said sure. After a few minutes I was disconnected. I called 3 times after and the kid who answered the phone pretended that he couldn't hear me and hung up the phone. I understand all about running a pizza kitchen, my husband is a chef and managed BOH and helped with FOH at a high end pizza establishment. There was plenty of time to make the simple order that we order at least once a week. Religiously. So, note to owner: whoever that kid is that answered the phone, he's losing money for ya'll. Thought I'd try Jet's and ordered for delivery. It took about 30 minutes give or take. Check out the pictures. It seemed over done and for 6 pieces of pizza (I ordered square and didn't specify bake time which is an option) I paid $16.50 and tipped the driver $2, there's a $2.50 delivery charge incl. It just did not seem worth it. Can you tell from the picture it's over done and light on the mozzarella? Awesome service! Pizza is really good. Probably the best take out pizza in the north area. Even though their pizza is really good their customer service is awesome. It's very hard to find good customer service anywhere these days. Every business makes mistakes sometimes but even when it is part of the customers fault jets stone oak really shines. They strive to make the customer happy. Jets is my go to pizza place. They also have good chicken wings as well as some other really good items. Can't say enough about the Detroit style pizza. Crispy crust all around and thick ( they also have other styles of crust that are really good as well). Jets isn't just pizza it's about their customer service as well. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! We will never order another pizza from Jet's ever again! Do not waste your money on this place! This establishment has gone down hill very quickly in the short amount of time that they have been here in the Stone Oak area. We have placed order after order and every single time, our order has come out completely wrong or we did not receive our complete order, or you will receive something completely different that you ordered! So on that note, the convenience in having them deliver is out the window because you will need to be there to check your order before it leaves the store. The first couple of pizza's that we purchased from Jet's when they first opened were amazing, we were hoping to get another order just as good, but I can tell you, we haven't received another as good. And the customer service has gone down tremendously along with the quality of their pizza. Past experiences ordering from Jet's: #1. The manager-Raul-Waste of your time, if your order is wrong (which it will be) he has such a care-free attitude, I guarantee you will get a chuckle from him and he will tell you just as he told me many times...that they have new employees and they are all in training (Really, ALL of your employees are in training, Really, none of them know attention to detail, Really, my orders have come to me messed up for months, how long do you consider an employee "new"?) #2. Raul also told me over the phone not to place an order online because they do not have everything that they show online. WOW! Why are you going to show items as a possibility for people to purchase if they aren't going to get it! WOW! #3. Don't order any beverage's with your pizza either....you won't get it....3rd delivery in a row that they have had to come back to my house to bring the 2 liter soda that I ordered. I order Sierra Mist (because they have an option for it online) apparently they don't...so they did not bring it. I told the delivery driver that was unacceptable, he went back to the store and 30 mins later (pizza and bread sticks were gone by this time brought us a Pepsi). #4. Hubby picked up at the store this time, brought the pizza's home...two totally different pizza's than what we ordered! #5. Another time, placed an order for my daughter. We had been at the ER all day, she broke her arm. All she wanted was a pizza and the cinnamon dessert from Jets. I called them as I was leaving the ER. Got to the store, paid for the pizza and dessert...I was only given the pizza...I did not want to wait an additional 15 mins for them to cook it when it should have already made. They just laughed and said, "Oh, my bad" I have to tell you, after the day I had...that was the last thing I needed was for some teenage kid messing with my time. Needless to say, I bought the cinnamon sticks, but did not get any AND the kid behind the counter could not give me a refund because he did not have authorization. Another order placed and was empty handed. I can go on and on...Never again will my family order pizza from Jets. I can tell a lot of other families agree from other reviews. It's sad, because this place did have potential. I have never had so much trouble ordering food to go than we from this place. Jets Pizza is doomed not only because the all the of the "New" employees that seem to be there all the time, but also the chain of command. I do not foresee this establishment being open much longer. Overpriced, low quality pizza. Cheese is like rubber and turns yellow after it cools. Chicken is mushy and has bone pieces. Went for the first time and had a bad experience from the ordering to the food. Everything about this place is low quality. 3 and a 1/2 stars is way too high for this place to have. Greasy as hell! I ordered a large pepperoni+bacon pizza. I literally had to dab the pizza three times with bounty napkins to remove the excessively visible layer of grease. Not sure if I just got a pie from a bad batch? Also the website said 45 mins, and the pizza took slightly over an hour to arrive. The delivery person had no apologies lined up I'm new to the Stone Oak area, so decided to take a chance with something besides the tried and tested Papa Johns. OMG, did somebody compare this to pizza from Chicago??? Giordano's is real Chicago pizza....Gino's East is real Chicago pizza....Kennedy's in S.A. is at least an attempt at Chicago "style" pizza..... In other words, mentioning "Jet's Pizza" and the word "Chicago" in the same sentence is a travesty....:-) Jet's is far more akin to Pizza Hut pan pizza than to just about any other pizza that I've tried. I loved jets pizza when I lived in Austin. Now I love the one on Stone oak. They never disappoint! They will be forever be my go to pizza. Better than Little Caesar's and Domino's! Just down the street from our house and they are pretty quick once they've taken our order. We usually just do a "pick up" and it's about 15 minutes. They have recently switched managers around mid-December so they were closed for about a month or so. I had a Groupon I was unable to use during that time period but I was able to get it refunded in Groupon Bucks towards something else not knowing that they were reopening shortly after. But that's ok. Since changing management, the pizza is the same and nothing has changed (price or quality). Everything's still great to me! I like the 8 corners. That's the one we usually get. I'm always tempted to try their sandwiches though but I never have. Just give them a try! The dough is the best part! =) read more

Excellent pizza. One of our favorites in San Antonio--I recently placed a large order to serve guests the day after my daughters wedding. Jets delivered 5 large pizzas salads and wings completely across town & way out of their delivery area. They were on time , hot and delicous. They even brought a wedding card with a gift card for my daughter and her new husband !! Couldn't have been better ! Recommend Jets highly !!! read more

Pizza is always good, but on more than one occasion, they have accidentally given away our order and had to remake it (which means standing around for ANOTHER 15 minutes or so while they remake our order), and they usually always give us an incorrect wait time. When we are told our pizza will be ready in 20 minutes, it's frustrating when we arrive to the store 30 minutes later and they tell us it'll be an other 10 minutes. 40 minutes for 1 pizza, really? Like I said, pizza is good, but I'm probably going to start looking for other pizza joints that can seem to get it right. read more

I called in for delivery for this this thin crust cheese pizza plus a Hawaiian large deep dish. The customer service was pleasant over the phone, the delivery did not take too long. The man that took my order did recommend the deep dish and stated "deep dish is what we are known for".. Well we ordered thin crust cheese for our guests kids, and deep dish on the other pizza. When the pizza arrived I was truly embarrassed to serve it. The large deep dish was very small and greasy the pizza's were all flopped and stuck to the box. You would think the delivery guy went sky diving with the pizza box. I did not get a picture of the other pizza but it was bad. They said they do not provide any plates or napkins. I asked for ranch but none was brought with the driver. All around worst pizza, plus I had to apologize to my friends for serving them terrible food. For 35+ dollars order what an all around rip off, and I would never order from them again or recommend them to any of my friends or family. read more

My hubby and I were starving last night so we decided to try out this new pizza chain that opened up called Jet's Pizza. At first, I wondered what made it so different from Little Ceasars because they are known for their deep dish square pizza. It was delish. It tastes like homemade pizza rather than a chain pizza. The dough has a nice crunch factor to it. Their breadsticks are stupid good. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. They also deliver.
