Oil Change was great...However...They could not lube my chassis because they were "out of grease and don't usually lube zirc fittings anymore" ?!? What the heck? It's part of the "lube/oil/filter service"....Why they would run out of grease and not order more is ridiculous. Now I have to go elsewhere to get the upper and lower ball joints on my truck greased. Also, it troubles me that the invoice states many things were "completed" that actually were not completed...for example - did not vacuum interior. - chassis is not "sealed"  - the front lights were not "checked and OK. - The rear lights were not "checked and OK"...the list goes on and on. I am terribly disappointed that they are misrepresenting what they actually do and what they really did. Sad. read more

We are visiting from Las Vegas and we had the oil light come on mid trip....we couldn't leave without getting it changed and there's no GoodYear around so we settled for jiffy lube and boy am I happy we did! I've never had an issue with Jiffy Lube before, so today's experience was really disheartening. I went in for a regular oil change and during the checks, I was told that my battery was at a "zero" reading. After I was told this it was quickly followed up with "your battery will die soon, but we can see if we have a battery here for you." Fear would have worked on me ten years ago, but with age comes wisdom. I asked to see the battery reader number and the mechanic acted generally surprised. I was quoted over $100 for a new battery so of course I want to see proof! He THEN told me to turn my lights off and did the reading and said "oh now it's green. The lights must've been draining the battery." Hmm. Sure. Anyway, I wasn't confrontational and I was going to let this go but it just wasn't sitting right with me. What if I hadn't asked to see it? My fiancé just got laid off and we are counting every penny and I need my car to get to work, I could have easily trusted him. I never had a bad experience with Jiffy Lube until now, but after this I don't think I can ever go back. Do better. Slick Willy had nothing on these guys. Pulled up into their station and before I could even ask how much, they started sucking oil out of my car. When they finally told me it was $113, I was sticker shocked. "What??? Why so much I stammered?" 'Everything is going up' they blithely responded. "So, are you going to lube and check my fluids for that much", I asked? 'No that will cost you another $109,' they politely replied. "Can I, at least, use this $10 off coupon code I found online?" 'No, that's not ours', came the pat answer. When I showed them the online coupon under their corporate banner they relented and begrudgingly gave this small discount. I have to say the techs seemed nice but seemingly programmed to run the con. Stay away!!! A call to corporate ended up in the circular filing bin. I recall years ago this company got caught with their pants down by only pretending to change your oil. Went here for an oil change on a Wednesday morning. I was there for only 45 min and there were a couple cars in front of me. Wait was not long at all compared to most other places. It's better to call an auto repair shop and make an appointment than to just shop up to one of those places. No appointment needed at Jiffy Lube. This place is definitely overpriced!! For a full synthetic oil change, it comes out to about $84. Each quart of their synthetic oil costs $10.99. You can find Mobile 1 oil (similar quality) for $6.67 per quart on Amazon. They also charge $30 for labor! I was also told that my coolant was low and they offered to fill it for $3.99. My wife's car has 6,224 miles on it, so I have no idea how the coolant could be low?? The people are personable that work here, but they must get commission because they tried to get every person that I saw there to spend more money than just the cost of an oil change. One person they wanted to get them to replace their fluids and then offered $40 off the stated price. Get on groupon and buy the Jiffy Lune promotion of you are set on getting oil changes here. They offer $25 for $40 worth of service on your car. It will save you $15 and you can do it all from your phone while you are waiting. I will not be back here for another oil change after I use my next groupon. This is a big cooperation that isn't afraid or ashamed to take their customers money. Don't let their quick service fool you. You can probably change your own oil for about $40 and this place charges double that. They do clean your windows and vacuum your floors for what that's worth. read more

Had a great experience at this Jiffy Lube today and it's 5 mins from my house. Gabe and his crew were very professional and quickly responsive. I have a 2013 Pilot and received an oil change, had tires rotated and they replaced the dirty filters. They topped off my fluids washed the windows, vacuumed inside and mentioned one of my tires might have a small look and to keep an eye on it. Other then that they said the car looked great as it should and off I was in about 25 mins. Note I was there at 7:30AM the earlier the better has been my experience when getting oil changes. I came to jiffy lube expecting to just get my cars oil changed. When I arrived I was asked what kind of service would you like I stated I wanted a basic oil change and all I got back was a "ok conventional" no explanation of what that is. While waiting for the completion of a simple oil change the employees were checking my battery checking my wipers and so many unnecessary unwanted checkups when all I'm there for is to unscrew a bolt empty out my old oil fill it back up with new oil and a new filter 3 step process. My problem is no one told me what the "conventional service" was they just ask you to pop your hood then go to town on god knows what so unprofessional. I have been here 3 times now. Experience has been hit or miss depending on who you get to help you. There's a sweet gal who will get you in and out quick, very communicative, but unfortunately I forget her name. The other folks that work here have kept me waiting sometimes up to close to an hour. Ultimately it depends on who you get. Unfortunately I had a negative experience today, with a blonde lady I hadn't seen before. I went for an oil change and was told I needed multiple services; brake fluid, coolant, rear differential and replacement spark plugs. This was especially frustrating because I had just had my brakes done and fluid changed, and I had replaced my spark plugs only a few months ago so I knew something wasn't adding up. When I asked the attendant how that could be, she fumbled what she was saying and came back with another woman to help. The second woman told me my break fluid was "dark" and that it needed to be changed according to their litmus test, so I let it go and declined the service. As for the spark plugs, I told her that I knew they were in good condition because they're practically new. I was told "it's recommended for my mileage". So it appears to me they "inspect" your car for extra services, only to recommend them based on mileage instead of actually looking at the parts themselves. Why recommend an unnecessary service? Highly recommend you know your stuff before coming here, or else you risk paying for a service you don't need. And honestly the additionally services they offer are all easily done yourself and will save you a good amount of money. All in all, I recommend it here if you're needing just an oil change and it's the closest place near ya. Otherwise, I'd try somewhere else. read more

This was my go to place for the last three years for my business and personal cars, all nine of them. But, something has changed in the last 9 months. Big turnover of employees and most don't know what their doing. Was just there around 4:30pm and was greeted by the tech upon arrival, was told approximately 15 minutes. Only two techs working, I thought odd being only 4:30pm. As I sat watching the tech flirt with the car ahead of me the 15 minutes turned into 25 minutes. Its always hard to watch, I guess, a manager stand around when the business is busy letting another tech do all the work. I ran out of time and had to leave. This is the WORST place to get an oil change. Not only did they take over an hour, they managed to get everything wrong. They left a giant wrench in my hood and shut it inside, so my hood was partially open on one side. Luckily, I saw this before driving off. Then, the "check oil" light wasn't reset, my tire pressure was extremely low although the paperwork said that it was at Psi32 on the front and rear. When I questioned the manager OCTAVIANO on this, he said that the paperwork was wrong but that it was because I had nitrogen tires and couldn't do anything about it. The mouth breather that waited on me was unwilling to fill out the paperwork so that I could drop off the car. My family has 5 cars and non of them will ever go to that location. Brought my 2008 Toyota Sequoia in - I sat in the car the entire time. they came up and said they were finished and i asked them if they changed the oil filter. they assured me they had. i asked them how they did that without removing the skid plate. They said there was no skid plate. I have had the truck since I bought in 2008 - yes there is a skidplate. Manager comes over, I explain it to him, he goes down into the pit and the next sounds I hear are the skidplate being removed. I have no idea if they actually did change the oil filter so I took it elsewhere the following day. They also didn't do most of the checks they claim to to - lights, wipers, engine light, battery etc. and I know that because I was in the car the entire time. Extremely dishonest, and they really don't care - so I will never go back nor would I recommend anyone ever go there.... read more

If you have nothing to do with your day and plenty of time to spare then this is the place for you. I have been coming here for many years and have written a few good reviews directly to jiffy lube. However something has definitely changed. The check in process is so so so slow. They used to check you in immediately, you could leave your keys in the car and sit somewhere and have a cup of coffee or read or take the dog for a walk. That isn't the case anymore. They make you wait with your car until they have time to get back to you. Today I asked had to ask why they couldn't check us in. I was told the policy had changed. I left and I won't be back. I will go somewhere who cares a little bit more about customer service. read more

Stopped by this location for an oil change. After the work was completed they informed me that my tires had all been filled to 32 PSI. Based on the reading of the car's pressure monitor before and after having not changed, I do not believe they looked at my tires. read more

My son recently took his truck there before I could tell him it's a mistake. They screwed him over. He took his truck there on a quiet day and they said the person inside would give him the options and prices of the oil change. The prices were really high and he said no thanks but when he went out they said they already drained the oil. It was a huge hassle for him. I've previously complained and filed an action with the State of California and I was told they are a dirty business. I suggest you avoid it at all costs. A year ago I went here for an oil change and they forgot to put the cap back on causing oil to spray ll over the engine compartment. They took it next door to the car wash and sprayed it down a bit. I parked in my driveway at home only to find a huge puddle of oil underneath. They gave me a piece of cardboard to fix the issue! Today, I gave them another try...waited 15 minutes before anyone took my info (it wasn't crowded), waited an hour and a half for the oil change, paid $155 for the oil service and when I drove away the service warning light came on!?!? I went back and they couldn't fix the light and told me to go to the dealer to get it fixed. Can't believe the poor service here. read more

Worst customer service I have ever seen. We took our (newer) car into the Carlsbad, Paseo Del Norte location for a standard oil change. We left their shop and drove home 2 miles away, parked the car in our driveway. An hour later we drove the car to the store...on the way smoke is bellowing out from under the hood, and we pull over broken down on the road. In short, most of the oil leaked out in our driveway the rest on public streets. I have been wasting time for several months in an effort to give Jiffy Lube a chance to make things right, to no avail. They simple refuse to settle this amicably. We really tried to be reasonable, and "Corporate" just can't admit to the negligence here, step up and do the right thing. Even the District Manager "Hector" seemed to want to settle this however does not have any authority to enter reason into this unfortunate matter.
