Do NOT bring your vehicle into this location, they nearly ruined my brake calipers. I was in there to check out a noise that my car was making, it turns out to be my brakes, I needed new ones. The bill is a little over $400, ok cool, the mechanic comes back and tells me that my back ride side caliper is leaking, don't know what that means but my bill is now over $700 if I decided to fix it, that I needed to make a decision because it is not safe to drive like that and driving off without this service will void the brake warranty. I decided to call Honda because they had told me I would need new brakes at my next oil change(September 2023) but nothing about my brakes running so low that it has now damaged the caliper. I was heated with Honda because this could've been avoided, they advised me to not go through with the fix and to bring it into the shop, so I did today (Thursday Aug. 10th 2023). Turns out that the mechanic at Jiffy Lube did NOT know how to correctly install the brakes into a 2019 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T. Before proceeding with any maintenance the mechanic working on the vehicle needs to manually input the car into maintenance mode which will allow the caliper to move freely. That was NOT done, it was professionally inspected by Honda. Jiffy Lube forcefully proceeded with the maintenance putting MY safety on the line and I have now lost that warranty on new brakes. Do NOT trust Jiffy Lube mechanics to know everything about your vehicle. This whole experience was shady in my opinion, in it for the money. read more

Justin had helped me out a couple of times; the cat is knowledgeable. I've never felt that I was being pressured or conned into doing something for the car. read more

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! Watch out for MARCIO! He will use scare tactics into doing expensive services to "repair" your car. So Marcio said I had oil chunks on the dipstick which was an indication the entire engine had metal shavings in it or something awful as he explained and needed to be vacuumed by one of their high tech machines. I regular check the oil on my wife's car so there was no way that showed up, plus my wife's car only sees about 3 miles a day to pick up the kids from school. So it doesn't go through enough abuse. Mind you the car only has about 68k miles After I said no , he pressured me and said "it's not rocket science" tried to make me feel like an idiot. Get this though , so he took me outside in the garage computer to use his sales pitch, after he got angry I told him no , I paid out the receipt and I was on my way. I saw him talking to a girl inside the customer lobby pressuring her into the same scare tactic sales pitch. Went to this Jiffy Lube a couple weeks ago and the staff was very uptight. Tried asking a couple questions that concerned me about my car but they were very short. The manager Jorge at the time, not sure if he still manages this location was very uptight as well. A customer deserves to feel welcomed and not put in an uncomfortable environment. Fast easy and and convenient so They say. I didn't want to go to the dealer so I thought easy and convenient the only draw is that they always try to sell you things you don't need . It's like they have to hit their numbers. I get it it's a business but it gets to borderline pushy and border line scam. They offer you every service they have plus it never fails the airfilter (hello I changed it 3 months ago at the dealer) . Then they tell you about radiator service and AC it's a new car not even a year old. They give you the "it's recommended line" . I asked for synthetic blend them all of the sudden they tell me ok sign right here it's 90 something I'm like I said synthetic blend not full synthetic. The sales person said oh ok I'm just tired been a long day. Yeah right! They try to sell you things you don't need and that's not good service. These guys are scam artists. I went for an oil change and they told me I needed 3 other services done - 4 plugs cleaned, brake fluid and transmission fluid. He said he'd do for $300 but I could only afford 2 which would cost $150.Then I came back when I had money for the other 2 services and was told I needed 2 more additional services done - radiator fluid and power steering fluid. Then he said this wasn't on his report but my serpentine belt also needed to be replaced. Tonight I could only afford the $150 break and transmission. But he said my engine would burn out if I didn't change the radiator fluid. So now the $150 for2 services became $240. I texted my regular mechanic to ask about the cost for the remaining services that needed to be done since he's cheaper but he closes before I am done work. That's why I went to Jiffy Lube. He told me to watch out for Jiffy Lube because they will scam me. He then said he had already changed the fluids Jiffy Lube said needed to be done. I will probably be short on my rent now because this scam artist scum bag scared me into thinking my engine would burn up if I didn't change the radiator fluid asap. They should be ashamed. I got there at 5:53pm before 6pm and they told me they were closing. Then Justin said that I got there at around 6. I don't think its correct for a service technician to try and argue a point across with a customer. This is my first experience at this jiffy lube and probably will be the last. Luckily I came down the street to Valvoline located on Firestone and Rives and they took care of me immediately. If your looking for fast friendly service come to Valvoline. It's a brand new location with 4 bays available. They checked my lights and all my fluids for free. Also it's a drive through service WOW. Sorry jiffy lube I have been using you guys for a while and I just cannot accept being talked backed by a young kid trying to prove a point and saying I got here at a later time. I was told I need 4 NEW rotors and brake pads.. I told them I just had brakes done under 30 days ago. If I could give zero Stars oh, I would. I drove up with two cars ahead of me awaiting for someone too acknowledge me, and was there for about 30 minutes. I finally came to the decision to come out of my car and speak to somebody for them to just roll their eyes at me and take longer see me. I don't understand why the services or taking so long when there was about five employees or mechanics there. I wanted a simple oil change and instead looked for services elsewhere. I don't understand why I'm getting bad services or attitudes from these Jiffy Lube franchises. The only one that I truly enjoyed going to and will continue to come back to is the one in Cypress. All the other ones such as Norwalk, Bellflower so far has been the worst. The light to my transmission flush came on and was a bit scared to go take my care..especially right now during this COVID stuff going on. I was happy to find this place that took care of me. They allowed me to stay in my vehicle as they did the flush and it all went well. They made sure I was happy and that I was able to switch gears after the flush.
