Arrived at 7:00AM to be 1st in line. Employee arrives & I told him I wanted an oil change and a lube. He told me he couldn't do the lube because he doesn't know how to do them. A 2nd employee arrives and she can't do a lube either. When I asked who could , I was told the mgr but he wasn't sure when or if he was coming in today. I pointed out that a business called Jiffy Lube ought to be able to do lube jobs. I left in disgust. This place is right around the corner from my house, and I've been very pleased with the service. However, they really pissed me off. I had just put air in the tires because the indicator light came on signaling low pressure. Like I've done for 2.5 years, I filled them to the levels marked on the tires and the light turned off. My wife took our Prius in for an oil change, and they said that the tire air levels were dangerously high. The service person drained the air until the indicator light turned on. He said this was normal, but we'd have to bring the car into the dealership for them to turn the light off. I should note that my wife was with our 2-year-old, who was being fussy, so it was hard for her to concentrate. When I heard this, I was very frustrated. I simply filled the tires back up and boom, the light turned off. Essentially they created a problem and made it ours to deal with. I called several times to take it up with them, but no one picked up. That's crappy service. read more

I came here to get an Uber inspection and I did not make any appointment. Everyone was welcoming me and they were very friendly. I was out within 20 minutes and job was done perfectly. I returned here and They did the bare minimum. The reason I go here instead of a local service station. Is because they do a through job, wash my windows and vacuum. They did none of that. I don't even think they check the air in my tires. I have no confidence in this oil change as they checked everything off the list on my receipt and I already know some of the stuff they didn't do. I went to Glenview Jiffy Lube location today in the morning to have a car inspected to fulfill Lyft requirement. I know that the inpection is free but the guy insisted on charging me $17.99. I told him that it should be free but he would not give me the inspection report if I don't pay. I left without the report and ended up to get my inspection done at Jiffy Lube Mt Prospect location which is completely free. I do not trust a business that tries to cheat customer out of money. Lyft pays the inspection. The guy at Jiffy Lube Glenview locaion knows that but still tried to charge me. read more

I went to this location last year and was turned away because they didn't have the necessary oil filter. Completely understandable. I called today to see if they have the oil filter, so I don't waste my time or theirs, and was told "I don't know. Why don't you come in and we'll see?" What's the point of even picking up the phone? I don't live in the area and I'm not about to drive 15 minutes for no reason. Pretty unprofessional, so this place is a no-go for me in the future. read more

I'm not one to write reviews but that's what I'm trying to change in 2019; giving credit where credit is due! I used to come to this location pretty regularly from 2010-2013 and then I moved out of the area. I came back to the Glenview area, went to what I was familiar with and was blown away with the service I have been receiving under what I can only guess is new management. I am ALWAYS warmly welcomed, my car is ALWAYS quickly serviced, and I am ALWAYS perfectly content with the price I pay to keep my vehicle running smoothly. I trust these technicians with my vehicle and never feel like I am being sold something I don't need. As a matter of fact, when I first came back in the area I had a new (used) vehicle I was bringing in to get serviced because the oil light was on. The technicians took the time to show me that my oil was good, filter was clean and there was no need to get an oil change. My car was in need of an oil change, so I came here on a lunch break since it was close to work. I wasn't expecting the oil change to be so expensive...I thought Jiffy Lube was a little cheaper. Well, I was wrong. However, the (I think manager) was really nice, and luckily no one was in front of me so I got in and out in about 30 minutes. The waiting area is nothing to write home about. They have some magazines, but overall it is dirty and needs updating. They always have coupons online, so take advantage of that. Overall it isn't bad if you need a quick oil change and can get there at the right time. read more

I only go here because it's convenient but every time I have a problem. This time they broke the side panel leading to my air filter. Last time it took them an hour to get a break light and then they couldn't even install it. The staff is unprofessional and defensive about their bad service. read more

I have not been to Jiffy Lube in years and thought I'd give them another try. I felt this Glenview location was dirty and disorganized. There was an oily slime on the floor and the only seating available was next to the changing bay. The service techs were friendly, but in my opinion the experience was not as pleasant or thorough as I remember. The receipt provides service details ( vacuum, liquids changed, etc.), but we were not walked through it. Vacuuming was checked but we did not see them do that. We were sitting next to the car. I tried calling to ask questions on the receipt and no one answered the phone, which was weird since there were no customers when I left. read more

Fast and efficient service but I had purchased a Groupon and still had to pay over $100 for an oil change and service. When I asked the clerk he attempted to explain that the limitations were on the Groupon but he could not find them. I sucked it up because what had been done was done. Checked online and saw that this location was open til 6 PM on Sunday. I arrived at the gate at 4:40 PM along side another car for a oil change. The manager walked over to my car and I got an feeling I wasn't going to like the news before I opened my car door to get out. JL - "Hello Sir, we are about to close, but the good news is I can give you a discount for next time." Me - "Uhh I checked online before I left, and saw you guys were open til 6 PM." JL - "Oh the new hours haven't yet been updated yet. We close at 5 now. Here is your discount for next time! (Hands me a generic coupon for 10% off) Me - "Does this coupon work for any Jiffy Lube? I live in Chicago." JL - "Yep it works for every Jiffy Lube!" I actually was cool about it, until I pulled a U turn out of there, and saw the car that came right before me entered the bay for service. I get that it isn't the workers fault that the hours were not updated online, I did think it was bs when the car that got there right before me got a happy ending instead of me when it was still only 4:40 PM. And when I got home, I looked at the back of the coupon, and it only works at "Chicagoland Jiffy Lubes" which is only like 20 locations around the suburbs.
