We came in to get a new battery for our car and we didn't even mention anything about a warranty and he went out of his way to check to see if it was covered under warranty! Then when he found out they didn't carry that battery anymore BUT it was covered under AutoZone warranty he contacted AutoZone and got everything squared away for us so all we had to do was drive over to AutoZone and get our new battery installed. Went there after seeing my usual location for maintenance over crowded in the lobby so I can imagine what the waiting are was like. Not taking any chances with this new Delta Variant of COVD on the loose so I went on about picking this place as back home Jiffy would do my oil changes. Was in and out within 30 min, got my oil changed, bought an air filter from them, and had them top off my antifreeze. Had to sit in my car while the car was being serviced, didn't mind that actually although I was told their waiting room was wet didn't inquire why, but it was really hot as it is this time of year inVegas so I was sweating profusely. Came here to get my Signature Service redone because I had a bad experience at the Jiffy Lube on Tropicana (89121) so the DM had me come to the one on Marks Street. While redoing my Signature oil change service I was up sold by one of their Service Technicians saying that I needed a fuel system cleaner, I said ok since supposedly it was $44.99 and on sale for $14.99. Really $44.99 to squeeze a bottle of fuel system cleaner in your gas tank?? I could of bought my own bottle for $8.00 and did it myself but I figured they are redoing my oil change for free, technically not for free but redoing it so why not get the fuel service. Also he said my battery post were dirty and needed to be cleaned $4.99 so I said ok. Also he said my k&n needed to be cleaned but I had the kit at the house so i said no it's ok. So sure enough I get home to clean my k&n filter that's right next to my battery and noticed my battery post were never touched!! So I texted the DM and asked him is this is how it's supposed to look after the service? Of coarse he said no and for me to drive back over there so they can clean it and also do the fuel cleaner. So Just to all the customers who do business with Jiffy Lube make sure when they upsale you that you double check there work or you will just be getting ripped off, I know it's sad but it's true. If I would of let them clean the k&n filter I would of had no reason to open up my hood. Things happen for a reason I guess. They also credited me back the total funds of the upsale but I figured they owed me that since I lived by the M resort and had to drive way back over there again for something they should of completed the 1st time. I lost trust for Jiffy Lube, hopefully as consumers they change there ways or they will soon eventually go out of business by providing bad business because there is alot of competition out there now. They are building Just Brakes across the street and will soon be doing more then just brakes, and all Midas oil change centers are providing the same service for a cheaper price. I know cheaper is not always better but jiffy lube is on the high side and they cant do it right the 1st time either. read more

The oil change was quick but when I asked to smog the tech seemed super ride and impatient. After starting the process they left me car running in the bay and forgot about me for an hour and a half. Eventually other techs added why I was there and sent them back. The guy who set it on my car was now pissed off and explained that it had been done a while ago and they had left my results in the seat without telling me and leaving me to stand around the parking lot for an hour and a half. This place is to busy to bother with simple checks, go to one of the booths next to any gas station instead for a smog check. read more

This place seem like a confused mess when I was there. I had a coupon from the Jiffy Lube website but I was told that it was no good there. The man who seemed to be a manager didn't bother to tell me there were different coupons that were perfectly good for this location. Seems like it would be decent customer service to do so. After I drove off I realized they did not reset my oil change needed alert. Isn't that oil change 101? Also they said they would just email me the receipt but I realized I never gave them my email and thus never received the receipt. I went back to get a receipt and they wound up giving me a receipt for the oil change that was done but with the information from an old car that I sold with the new owner's name instead of mine. I moved here last year June 2016 from California. I had to get my Ram Truck smoged in order to get Nevada plates right. The guy was done with my truck in less than 20 minutes. Well, I went back to this place again today to smog another vehicle I purchased in California. The gentleman was done with my vehicle in 15 minutes. There was no other vehicles in the bent, but there were in the other bents for an oil change. The differences between today and last year is the price. Went to this location because another one in town was backed up. I had issues with this location in the past, but they made it right so I thought I would give them another chance. When I got there their wait time was pretty reasonable so I decided to let them change the oil. I thought it looked a little bit weird that they didn't have prices up on the board like the other location and I soon found out why. The other location was currently charging $89 for full synthetic, which by itself is still a rip off because for synthetic is usually the same price as conventional if not only a few bucks more and the labor is exactly the same, but they all up charge for it. They also offered a $25 coupon too. I should've stayed there and waited it out. I didn't know it was a different franchise owner so it was foolish of me to think that they were even close to the same price. They didn't tell me how much it was going to be until they had already gotten the hood open an oil drained. Charging someone over $100 for a routine oil change is insane, and that's with a $15 coupon. The service was quick, which is nice. I didn't watch them work on the vehicle because they usually bring in a paper of their "signature" results. They only gave me a receipt for my over priced service and said I was good to go. When I asked if they checked all of the fluids and made sure there weren't any leaks he said everything was fine, but it was just a receipt instead of a summary of the service like usual. It should've been a red flag for me, but maybe they changed the reports. Fast forward to a few days later when I used my windshield wiper fluid for the first time to clean some dust off the windshield and immediately after my low fluid light turned on. Now, wiper fluid is very cheap but that's exactly the problem. If they're lying and skipping a fluid that is basically 95% water, what else are they willing to skip on to save money and charge you the full price for it? Based on this experience I would urge you to go to another location. I'm going back to the one on Boulder Highway for sure next time. It's clear that this franchise has chosen a different model - don't bug them about random little things to repair to make more money on an oil change service, but overcharge an under deliver. read more

I drove my truck from Reno, Nevada to Houston, Texas and tried to be as prepared as I could before taking to the open road. My oil had been changed, my tires were full of air, and the truck itself was in good shape. Unfortunately, I arrived at my hotel in Vegas and got the "change your oil now!" message. Because I was on a time crunch (making the drive in 2.5 days) I slightly freaked out and frantically tried to find a place that would be open early Saturday morning. Thankfully, this Jiffy Lube was right next to my hotel and it opened at 7 a.m. I arrived promptly at 7:00 and was greeted by one of the workers. I explained that I needed to have my oil changed and that I also had a break light out. Upon inspection, they also noticed that one of my turn signals was out as well (it had been acting up, but I didn't actually know the light was out). I asked for them to fix all three issues and it took less than 30 minutes. Generally I am pretty picky about where I take my vehicles, but I was desperate to get back on the road as soon as possible. The staff here was knowledgeable, worked quickly, and did everything I asked. The price to change my oil and fix my lights was slightly pricier than it would have been elsewhere, but I expected that. I had a pretty poor experience with Jiffy Lube a few years ago and just don't like the chain auto repair businesses because of it. I did however have a much more pleasant experience at this one. If you're a female, just simply don't go here. I specifically came in for an oil change, as my car was notifying me an oil change being needed for the last month. I drove up and was asked what I needed. I simply stated I'd like an oil change. The man asked well what kind of oil do I want? I am not sure about oil so I showed him a precious receipt from elsewhere. He insisted that I didn't need an oil change, it must be a timer on my car and was asked several times if I still wanted an oil change. Which I replied yes, I want an oil change. What is the problem?! Then he proceeded to ask what kind of oil AGAIN?! What the heck?! He had the receipt in his hand which showed the oil I had before! Synthetic I presume! So I asked, "do you have the oil my car needs?" He didn't really say yes or no. He just basically said well if you want an oil change it's a 45 minute wait. Just tell me you don't want to service me so I can be on my way! That was 5 minutes of my life wasted. Just be truthful and say you don't have time if you're overwhelmed with work. I keep getting screwed over by Jiffy Lube (read my previous review about the location on Stephanie). This time they tried to scam me! The repairman asked me if I wanted to change my filter as he presented me with an air filter that was orange and absolutely filthy. The thing looked like it was dripping in oil. I told him 'no' knowing that I would do it myself, especially if it was that dirty. He asked me, "are you sure? Your filter is very dirty." I declined. I went over to AutoZone and bought a new filter. I took mine out of my car and noticed it was yellow and not even close to being as dirty as the one shown to me at this Jiffy Lube location! It wasn't even the same size. The Hispanic guy who works there seems to be running a scam of sorts. If you go here and are shown a dirty air filter, ask them to show you that it was actually the one that was taken from your car. I do not know why I keep giving these places second and third chances. I am officially done with this company for good! read more

Drove up to Marks St. location and was greeted by Ben, great smile, very friendly, opened doors for me, explained everything so that I understood and said it'd be about 15 minutes. Wham, Bam...done so quickly I barely opened the magazine to read. I asked how long he'd been working with JL and he said about a month. He was terrific, really super customer service and, in spite of being cold and raining, made me feel good that I chose that location. Just went in on a Saturday and got my oul changed was in and out in 11 minutes, they advertise 15 minutes but I was actually out of there with leas time. I also replaced my antifreeze fluid and they told me I can come in whenever I want to get air in my tires, oil top off, or check any other fluids or any lights to come on.
