I've always had a good experience here. The people who work at Jiffy Lube are very helpful and have a good personality. I never dread going in. They're straightforward about the wait time and will suggest other nearby places to better assist your schedule. Ever single time i take my car here, I SWEAR my check engine light comes on a day later and takes about 5-7 days for it to turn back off. I don't know if its because they always bump the sensor or they put too much oil in. They get you in and out of there in 30 minutes and when you decide last minute to leave town the next day and got to eastern washington, it is what it is. Just avoid the plus ups they try and get you on. They are big on that. read more

So far horrible.. Tech put in more than three quarts of oil more than required. Way over filled....oil pressure so high blew out gaskets. Regional manager failed to call me 5 days later . No customer service. FYI jiffy lube in Martha lake removed the excessive oil and inspected the leaks from high oil pressure. I will keep this open till I receive proper customer service. "You pay for you life experience" Right, I just did. A normal oil change without the SYN upgrade normally cost less than 30 dollars, any gas station would give you that price. I normally go to the local 76 gas station for an oil change but this time they are all booked out and I can kinda tell an oil change is needed immediately. So I submitted, I went to the nearest Jiffy Lube. The cheapest oil they charge costs 46dollars, and because I am driving a Lexus I need to upgrade the oil level, which according to their standard, will cost 69 dollars. Somehow they also found that my airfilter needs to be replaced.... I had higher reviews for this business until my windshield wiper liquid sign turned on a day after a service on this location. On their list, they were supposed to top off the liquid and they said they did but eventually they did not touched. I believe their service depends on who is on the floor at the moment. On 7/23 I was contact by Jiffy Lube customer support as shown in my review. I have provided my contact information as they requested to their email provided. I am writing this update as other reviews have stated they don't always get contacted after doing this step. Email was sent less that an hour after their response. 7/21/16 - Posted review My recent visit to this location was less than perfect. I provide my own oil and filter for service at Jiffy Lube. This is because I choose the service you offer beyond just the oil change itself. During this visit I witnessed the lower bay tech initially start to lubricate a new oil filter gasket with old dirty oil. I had to request there team to use new oil (canister filter). When the lower bay tech returned to put in my drain plug in I witnessed what appeared to be excessive pressure and weight used to tighten my drain plug. Tech was using his body weight to get the drain plug tight. When oil was added and the oil pressure was to be checked only the upper bay tech checked. Pressure check was not conducted below the vehicle and the tech was not present during the process. I allowed the team to finish their work however they failed to check the automatic transmission fluid. At this time I requested it to be checked and the upper bay tech did correctly. At this time the upper bay tech started to QC check the caps however never checked all caps and attempted to put the hood down before replacing the engine plastic cover. I informed the tech that he was forgetting the cover. During the lower bay techs QC check he only did the oil drain plug again pulling his body weight onto the plug. At this time I requested that all the gear boxes to be check as this is part of the service and the reason why I bring my vehicle to jiffy lube. During the check of my gear boxes I requested from another upper bay tech to put a note on my account to please use the manufactures recommended torque on the oil drain plug. I am fearful of the amount of pressure that was used and did not want to strip out my oil drain pan. At this time I got objections from the techs saying that torque wrenches will strip out my drain pan and that is why they don't use them. There training specifically calls out that they should not use torque wrenches for this reason. During this conversation the lower bay tech called out that the fluid was dirty in my front and rear gear boxes. The tech did not directly say my fluid was bad but implied it. I asked what the manufacture recommended service is for my vehicle and I was told that he was not trained to know that or recommend by that. At this point our discussion became more hostile as the tech began arguing with me about how a vehicle should be serviced and that his team did not make any mistakes. I should not have to battle or request for my vehicles maintenance to be performed correctly. When pointing these things out I should also not be given excuses as to why or why not it wasn't done in the correct order or by the customers request. During the cash out process I got an opportunity to discuss my interaction with the new store manager. The manager did the right thing and got me take care of and provided me a complimentary service. I did not come in here for this reason, and my previous experience was pleasant. However the manager said some very concerning words about their team could never fully do their service the right way with vehicle recommendations. That their team is still training and learning how to do all processed correctly. He also stated that if I went to other locations I would also probably not receive the level of service I was looking for as non of the local stores in the area could consistently service a vehicle in this way. Why would I ever return to a service location when I provide all of my materials and only expect the disposal of the oil and the labor service. This is all I was paying for and I had to request it to be completed with combative employee who are not properly trained and still learning. If these teams can not consistently service a vehicle, and do not know vehicle manufacture recommendation why would I trust a 50,000$ + vehicle to any of your locations? Sincerely Former Jiffylube Manager. Who if managed this location would not allow any tech to service a vehicle until they can do it correctly every time. P.S. A Jeep Wrangles hood never needs to be dropped from any distance to close like most other vehicles. It uses latches on the side to secure and simply lowering works. These little things matter, along with techs wearing metal belts that can scratch a vehicle fenders when your fender covers don't cover everything. I had a very positive experience at this Jiffy Lube. The team was able to get me in for an oil change 15 minutes before they closed. They were able to fully serviced my car, vacuum, and change my oil within 10 minutes. The manager was so kind, that he even added a coupon onto my oil change to save me some money, as I just started a new job. The crew was polite, efficient, and kind. I will be going back again for my next change and would recommend others to do the same. read more

This has been my go-to oil change spot for the 6 years I've lived in downtown Kirkland. I've always gone here bc the guys are super professional, fast, and don't recommend bullshit, unnecessary services to people they assume won't question anything... today, Corey, proceeded to show me my dipstick and said I needed an engine flush bc it was black... my oil was black . As soon as I questioned it, he walked away and no further explanation was given. He also never asked whether I wanted synthetic or not. There goes a customer, bc thanks to Corey, your shop just became like the other bullshit oil change places that try to take advantage of loyal customers. The bad: not the same cheap Jiffy Lube they were a couple of years before. They are using overprices Pennzoil oil and I ended up paying something like $65 for an oil change for my Honda CR-V, after coupon! Minor bad: they forgot to reset "oil life %" setting. No big deal for me, I know how to do it, but someone might freak out seeing yellow warning lamp go off 2 weeks after changing oil. The good: fast and professional. And when I overheard the lady-manager (sorry, miss, forgot your name and lost the business card) telling another customer: "we could change oil in your car, but it is not due for oil change for another 1400 miles", I became a fan. She was saying no to additional business to save customer unnecessary expenses! read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I have a 2012 Ford Focus and went in for a routine oil change. Completed the service but as soon as I got in my car I noticed my change oil light was still on. I've been there before and this has happened to me on multiple occasions so I thought they just didn't reset it (I'm literally still in their parking lot when I saw it was still on). Time goes by and I'm driving when my car COMPLETELY SHUTS DOWN, tried to jump the car still wouldn't start. Radio, AC, lights are all on but the car won't start. Since I already had an appointment for routine service at my dealer the next day and it was only a mile away from where I broke down I had my vehicle towed there. The next day the dealer doing my service calls me and asks have I recently had an oil change? I tell them yes from Jiffy Lube and he informs that my oil filter was improperly installed which caused a blown seal and ALL THE OIL TO DRAIN OUT OF MY ENGINE. Because of this damage the engine in my vehicle needs to be replaced. That day I call Jiffy Lube to inform them of what happened and they tell me they need to have an inspector come out to access. At least 2 weeks go by before they even schedule someone to come out. After the person inspected the vehicle another few weeks go by where I'm calling and emailing Claudia Ibarra EVERYDAY to get the status of the inspection. They finally reach back out to me to inform me they aren't taking fault due to the fact the "Dealership tampered with the vehicle" before they could inspect. I scheduled this appointment weeks before my car broke down and it was for something that has nothing to do with the engine. I have a written statement from the dealer stating what was wrong with the vehicle and why the problem is solely Jiffy Lube's fault. Dealing with their customer service people has been a nightmare, I didn't hear anything from corporate when I called in a complaint (They said they would follow up in 48 hours) and the only reason I heard from Claudia was because after ignoring my emails and calls I told her I was going to reach out everyday until she responded. I drive around for work so this has cause me money on rentals and tows along with loss of commission due to not being able to get around. I'm still without a car and will be taking legal action against this branch. And the wildest part is the person who messed up is still working there without even being talked to about his mistake because they don't believe it's their fault. Five easy. "was it jiffy enough?" Lmao apparently jiffy is some fraction of a second which now the name makes so much more sense now. YES, it was jiffy enough, I literally waited no more than 15 minutes. Which was the time quoted when I first pulled up and was greeted by the mechanic who friendly & answered whatever questions I had. Didn't make a fuss about giving me a moment to figure out what I needed. It was nice and warm inside ( nothing beautiful but comfortable enough) they have a bathroom which is nice . Vance (I think he said his name was) was very assertive & helpful, made casual conversation. & went out of his way to show me my filter and what it looks like, what exactly it does & when I'll need to get it fix. The shop as a whole has a chill vibe, it's clear the co workers get along well. He let me know that it was okay to come back & get whatever fluids I needed topped off in between now & my next change. I had no idea but they change fluids & vacuumed my car at the completion of service, can't lie the vacuum was better than none at all but I will have to vacuum again. Either way it's a nice perk because I was not expecting that. But now my oil light is now off & my car is running smoothly & should be for the next few months. 1. Good: I didn't have to wait long. The staff member was friendly, and on his own apologized and made good when he realized they'd missed vacuuming. 2. Bad: They charge more for a basic oil change than the local dealer. Are you kidding me? 3. Ugly: They tried to upsell me on synthetic oil, which my car does not need. This is a story about a business that for one reason or another, whether corporate, management, or staff, decided to insist that I needed to spend $75 on their synthetic oil change (who pays $75 for an oil change?) And this was a hard sell. The guy's typing into his computer while speaking out, 'did not request oil that meets manufacturer guidelines', when I stuck to my guns. Let's see. I have Jiffy Lube telling me my manufacturer I need synthetic. I have two dealerships and a Pennzoil ten minute oil shop telling me I don't. And I checked this out again before posting. Never again. Been to Jiffy lube for my last 3 oil changes. Each time I go, I ask for the "same service as last time" yet the price goes up each time. What started at $79 ended at $120 this last time. Do not count on them following your service record because apparently choosing to upgrade you to the next level of synthetic oil without asking is ok business practice. At the price of $120, I may of well gone to the freakin dealer and been harassed about upgrading my new car already. This is an OIL CHANGE people... over $100? What a joke. They are always super pushy with their "windshield repair" and here's the kicker - they left my oil cap off, so oil spewed all over the inside of my hood. I went in for an oil change, I was out of the place in less than 12 minutes, they even vacuumed the car.

Got overcharged for standard oil change, and they pushed all sorts of extra services on me. I guess it was my fault for not doing enough research, but they made the issues sound alarming enough that I actually believed them and paid for those unnecessary transmission fluid and radiator fluid changes. There are several better, more honest, and cheaper shops in the same area. Go to those instead. read more
