Went in for a brake inspection expecting a costly repair due to squeaky brakes. However after a free inspection they said no repairs were needed just some tightening of some bolts and sent me on my way. Gio, the mechanic who inspected my truck and was honest. I gave them another shot. The last time they took a lot longer than quoted to handle my oil change. This time it was faster. I was quoted 40 minutes and they were done in 25. Kudos to them. The downside was they're a little shady with their suggestions. They suggested for me to do a number of things but the biggest thing that stuck out was they told me my windshield wipers were old and need replacement. Funny thing was i just changed them last week! If they're that shady with a simple windshield wiper why should i take their other suggestions seriously? Hmmmm. Maybe if they're lying about my windshield wipers they're lying about actually changing my oil...uh oh read more

After zero issues ever with my car, which is a 2017 Toyota RAV4, I took it here yesterday for a simple oil change and was told I have 5-10 very expensive things wrong with my car including the battery. I declined getting it fixed and now my car won't even start one day later after driving it around all day before going to jiffy lube. I personally think that they fucked up my car on purpose after I declined to upgrade to the additional services they wanted to charge for. These people are scammers and I would NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE COME HERE AGAIN!!! read more

It was so quick to the point that I ask them if they've drain the oil and replace the filter because I didn't see them lifting my car. I needed a quick oil change before a road trip, found this place. Service was good. There was your typical up-selling but not in a pushy way. I liked that they took pictures of the items needing additional service on your vehicle. They were able to answer my questions and were willing to take additional pictures with my phone. I'm not from Orange and wanted to send the pictures to my local mechanic back home to schedule service. The service was prompt and friendly. This is a hit and miss place. Depends on who helps you I guess. I had bought new tires here and they weren't properly balanced, when I came back I was told there were balanced, 45 mins later I was told they actally weren't balanced and they were in the process of fixing their mistake. I also got an oil change here at the same time. At check out I asked for an extra discount for not having done the job properly the 1st time. I got fat NO... he didn't even try hard. I was there for 1.5 hours... Then when i got home, I noticed they gave me the wrong mileage sticker... someone is not paying attention.... Brought my car here for an oil change and the guy checking me in told me it would be $106 after tax/fees etc. (He had the year/make/model and even vin # of my car, so this was no accident) I looked at the invoice and he had put synthetic oil over standard without asking my preference, I told him that I just wanted standard oil and he told my "it's not possible" because my car requires 0W-20 oil which is only offered in full synthetic, and I HAVE to use that. This seemed really odd to me so I left and went to Midas down the road. Sure enough, the Midas tech popped my hood and what do you know- 5W-30 right there on the oil cap! I had a feeling the guy at Jiffy Lube was being shady and trying to charge more for something I didn't need, good thing I trusted my instinct and went to Midas instead. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLES HERE, this is the typical "bad mechanic" that will try to charge you for things you don't need. read more

This place is a flat out dishonest. I was at this Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed. I had a coupon for the 21.95 President's Day Special, so I decided to get my oil changed there. The coupon is good for the labor, filter, and 5 quarts of oil. My vehicle is a Toyota Tacoma 2.4L 4-cylinder truck. I didn't know this off the top of my head at the time, but it takes roughly 5 quarts of oil to complete the task, and my vehicle has no problems to date. This what they came back with. First the 'problems' section. Here they pray on the ignorance of folks who don't know any better. I'm not a car dummy, but I'm not expert. I could do all these things myself if I had a place to do it 1) They told me my air-filter was filthy. Right... they turn grey after a week of driving brand new. I'm not fooled by that. 2) They told me my wipers were bad. Uh, no, got them replaced about a year ago. 3) Anti-freeze/coolant was low. Once again, BS. 4) My batter terminals were corroded. Yeah yeah, so are everybody else who owns a car that sleeps outside. And here is the kicker: they said my front blinkers are bad and not working. I was flabbergasted, I said I can replace them myself, but thanked them for the info. Now here is where the bullshit came in. They charged me 28 dollars for the oil change. They told me that my truck required 5.8 quarts of oil, a flat out lie after I investigated my truck's oil capacity. The extra quart of oil which I didn't get cost me an additional 5 bucks. Why? Because they could. Next, my blinkers. I stopped by a corner store to test them out. Both of them are working, on the front and back. The place flat out lied to me and wanted me to shell out 30 bucks for LIGHTS I DID NOT NEED. So in the end, I was taken for 5 bucks out of my pocket, and they want to replace somethings that did not need replacing, and LIED to me about my front blinkers. Buyer beware, this place will scam you and smile while doing it. I will not do business with them again. read more

After receiving an oil change from this Jiffy Lube my car started leaking oil. When I brought my car into the dealer he stated that the car had an oil filter that was not the right size, and that the O ring had deteriorated and was "smashed" causing oil to leak everywhere on my engine, including into my valves, onto my spark plugs, everywhere. When I called Jiffy Lube to tell them that their service had gone faulty the manager stated that there was nothing he could do because I had received an oil change more than 3,000 miles ago, and that their warranty only goes to 3,000 miles. He said that because I have a "High end car, I risk going over the warranty because I don't need an oil change as often." This translates into "The parts and service we put into your car are complete junk, and it is on you to change your oil every 3,000 miles even if your car doesn't need it. Our parts are that BAD." All in all, this repair cost me $500, because I was following the directions in my owners manual, and not the directions of Jiffy Lube. I will never go here again, and I would recommend no one else either. Companies like this hire the cheapest labor, and use the cheapest parts to keep costs down. The only issue is that the risk is all on you once you drive out of there. I will NEVER come here again, not just this one in Orange, but to Jiffy Lube in general. read more
