They told me that I needed a new engine belt because mine was cracked. Being I was ripped off today here. Don't let them change anything but the oil unless you know of the other issues. I was told I had a crack in my engine belt and that it Is scary to have that because if it breaks the car will just stop and won't run. Knowing I should not do it I said ok because I don't have anyone else out this way to look at it. They get one star for today because they gave me $15 off. I was shown the belt after they put the new one on because I asked. There was only normal little cracks that any belt would have. I will not be using this jiffy lube again. read more

Came in last minute on a Sunday afternoon for an oil change and Miguel was able to help me out right away. He was very informative and showed me that my AC filter was worn out and I needed it replaced. He also noticed my windshield wipers rubber wasn't wiping correctly because the rubber was running low. He was never pushy about anything, just informing me and asking if I would like it replaced. Everything was done quickly as I was sipping on coffee they had in the waiting area. Just got my oil changed here this morning, and definitely have mixed feelings around this place. Drove up to the garage and was greeted by one of the techs there. He was polite, said good morning, and asked what he could do for me this morning. I told him I just needed an oil change, and afterwards he escorted me into the waiting room and told me someone would be right with me. Waited about 10 minutes and was greeted by another tech who went through all the options of an oil change; regular, synthetic, blended, etc. He went a bit fast through everything, but I held my ground through all the up selling and recommendations as this visit was just to get an oil change. Here's where the mixed feelings come in. Just before finalizing the services that were going to be performed, the tech who went through all the services told me that one of my tail lights was out. He also told me that my coolant level was empty and that they could refill it for $5. I declined them changing the tail light, and I'm glad I did, as I had a family member check all my lights when I got home and everything was running fine! It was just a little shady. I took the time to read other reviews before I came to this Jiffy Lube and it looks like other people have had this issue too. I did accept the coolant refill which happened to be $6 instead of the $5 I was quoted. Whatever. Megan, the girl working the front desk was polite and gladly accepted my $15 off coupon, so I got out of there for just under $36. My car actually feels like it's running a bit better now since I was long overdue for an oil change by about an additional 3k miles, so I'm happy with the service, but disappointed that I was told something was wrong with my car when it clearly wasn't. Earlier in the day I called the nearby Firestone asking questions about my oil change and they were rude and told me I'd have to leave my car overnight... For an oil change? No way. So I called Jiffylube and was told "overnight? That's not real. You come here, it'll take 20 minutes." So I came into the Jiffylube and was immediately met with incredibly nice people who were helpful, able to get me the best deal, and made sure I understood what I needed to make my car run up to speed. And it was just as quick as promised!! Billy was SERIOUSLY the nicest guy here. Ask for him if you need to be taken care of in a personal, friendly way. I had a great experience at this Jiffy Lube! The employees were very kind and extremely helpful....even though I came in close to closing. My battery light came on while driving back from the grocery store. Knowing it could be a serious issue I googled auto repairs (that would still be open at 6:30 pm). They guys at Jiffy Lube took great care of me. When they could not run a test to check my alternator (and they were also closing) they directed me over to Autozone.... and even drove by to make sure my car had made it there okay. Armando advised me to get the alternator checked out then come back first thing in the morning. He even left my name and situation with the manager he would be expecting me. Ultimately I had to come back the next day to get my battery and alternator replaced. They took my problem very seriously. read more

Since contacting the management team - they contacted me back within a few days (due to the weekend) and made things right. They reimbursed me for the difference between what I signed for and what I paid AND the manager gave me a free oil change. I appreciate them trying to make things right. Thank you. _______________________________________________________________ I walked in to your store on Saturday November 16, 2013. I walked in aware that I needed an oil change and that I needed my air filter and cabin filter changed. (My previous visit at a different Jiffy Lube made me aware of the air filters) First thing was first, my car was inspected for what it "needed". I walk into Jiffy Lube versus walking into other stores because I had the confidence that even though I am a woman and know little about cars, the Jiffy Lube employees would point me in the honest and correct direction. All of that changed on Saturday morning. I drive a 2010 Lexus IS250. The salesman informed me that I needed quite a few things that added up to about $280 in parts, plus services. He stated that I needed my oil change, synthetic and not regular. He did let me know about my air filters that needed to be replaced and he also stated that I was running "low" on brake fluid and that I needed a system flush (I am not familiar with the terminology - he said that it was basically all of my hoses and pump lines needed to be cleaned and flushed out). I informed him that I could not afford all of that at this time but now that I am aware I would come back and get everything done over the next few months. On my estimate paper, he charged me for the synthetic oil change and both filters and it added up to about $180 with taxes and labor. I agreed and signed. Later, the gentleman then came in and looked for me in the lobby and took me over to my car to ask me when was the last time I replaced my brakes. I informed him that they were about two months old. He then proceeded to show me some issues with my routers. I informed him that I would take care of it by taking it back to where my routers were "filed" down and brakes were replaced. He then said to me, "Okay ma'am, it'll only be a few more minutes. They are almost done with the brake fluid flush/change." I told him that we agreed that I didn't want to do that yet and he said that I said yes. He then went inside and onto his computer, added that services to my order and proceeded to say that I ordered it and agreed. I showed him my paper work and told him that I had not ordered it and he proceeded to say that he would give me "a good discount". First of all, I didn't agree and my estimate paper shows it. He added it to try and fool me and I did not appreciate that. Then, he still wanted me to pay. When it came time to pay, he wanted to give me $20 off of a $60 service that I DID NOT AGREE TO. I went onto the Lexus website and I found out that I can't run "low" on brake fluid unless my car is leaking the fluid. It is a 100% closed system and it doesn't waste itself. Lexus recommends brake fluid change at 60K so the gentlemen telling me that I needed it was false and even if I would have agreed, it would have been under false pretense. Jiffy Lube is supposed to be a professional establishment. This is why I take my car to your stores. I should be able to trust the employees and their word. They should not trying to deceive customers no matter how little they know or don't know about automobiles. read more

Wow these guys are fast. I was in and out in 20 minutes for a standard oil change. They of course mentioned the upgrades and wipers air filter etc but I politely said no and there was no pressure. The yelp deal didn't work in the system but they still gave me a $15 discount no hassle about it. When I left the guy who physically did the oil change thanked me and wished me back. The ONLY thing that irked me was I wanted my headlights cleaned and they said no because they were closing. It was 3:50 and they were due to close at 5 but they were slow so they said they were closing at 4. Oh well, I understand they want to leave but if hours are until 5pm on Sunday they should do the service. I'd recommend this location. read more

Arrived around 1218 and was approached for service moments after. After being allowed to wait in my vehicle because my daughter was sick and tired we waited... While we waited we watched almost all of the technicians wonder around eating pizza, bread sticks and, drinking sierra mist all while taking their sweet time to service vehicles. No they weren't on lunch because they were all still touching vehicles and then I watched one grab another slice and wonder out saying " Now I am going to lunch clocking out now". I was asked twice by a technician if he should check some of the thing that are supposed to be checked regardless. Showing that they vacuum and wash windows I received neither service. Being that I was allowed to sit in the car I fully excuse the vacuuming but what about my windows? I paid for the "Top Synthetic Oil Change". They are polite slackers from what I seen. Leaving at 1255 I had realized that I had just experienced the longest 15 minutes of my life. Not sure if I'll be returning to Jiffy Lube. Bad experience number two. The Jiffy Lube facility at 433 West Katella Ave, Orange, Ca 92867 has service writers who lie to the customers about repairs that should be done. On 22 January 2020 the service writer , Miquel, stated my oil was excessively dirty. I asked how he confirmed the preceding. His statement was that he checked the dip stick. Before he had checked it the store manager, Abraham Jimenez, confirmed that on a previous oil change at the same facility the oil stick was replaced with the wrong size. The stick was not long enough to indicate any oil level. The store manager, Abraham Jimenez, confirmed there was no oil registered. It would have been impossible for the service writer Miquel to have checked the oil condition from the dip stick. Miquel then stated the radiator cap was defective, the water level was low needing additional coolant. I then stopped him and went back to the manager stating my displeasure of Miquel lying to me. When having your oil changed the facility states several additional challenges that they indicate needs immediate attention for additional charges. I directed this challenge to the district and corporate offices with no reply. Apparently they are aware of these practices and do nothing to correct the station charging for additional unnecessary repairs. I recommend avoiding Jiffy Lube facilities and particularly Jiffy Lube facility #1457 located in Orange, California. read more
