Walked in for an oil change. I had a good affordable experience in the past. Too many places aren't open too late or too early, so this was a contender. I like that jiffy lube offers services, rather than "let me find things that are wrong with your car, and charge you triple." Toyota dealership wanted to charge me 1000 four months ago. But only were able to charge me $83.00 for inspection and oil change. Which is still robbery. But I digress, as a female your afraid of taking your car in. I was informed a couple times my battery wasn't reliable. It was an emergency replacement battery, that I overly trusted. It started my car, but I was afraid I'd wind up on the road dead with an old battery. Jiffy had a battery, and charged me only $129.00 for it, with my regular oil change, and complete inspection, window clean and vacuum which they didn't charge for. I was thrilled at the inspection, as I'm typically afraid to ask. $166 dollars and a $12 off coupon later, my cars maintenance required light is off, and it's driving smoothly and safely. So greatful my car isn't dead. I've been through hell the last three years, so I sucked it up, and charged it, knowing I was lucky. Love my old Toyota, she's still on this journey with me. Went in for an oil change and the first man who greated my mom and immediately said go wait in front. Not hi, how are you, nothing. And in a rude tone I might add. Then we were waiting inside. First in line and the same man came back in and asked the lady behind us what can he do to help her. So two times in a row, rude. Then when it came time for him to help us, again we were there first and he knew it. My mother asked him for a senior discount. What do you think he said? Well, the first thing he said was we are under new management but how old are you. Then my mother began pulling out her license to show him and then he noticed this and said it DOESNT matter how old you are we are under new management. My thoughts were, hmm then why ask that question? He then agreed to give her a 10% discount, which turned out to be $3.00. I then looked up on my phone while waiting and found a $5.00 off coupon code on there website and gave them that. So far our experience was the worse it could possibly be. The only reason why this is not a one star is because the man who then explained everything about the car was excellent. Very nice, polite, oh and respectful(this is what the first man lacked in spades). So to sum it up. If you are a woman, elder, or just a plain customer do not go here. You will not only get bad service but you will have someone be rude to you. The people here were nice, however, my tires were under pressure after they serviced my vehicle yesterday. All of my tires are supposed to be at 36psi, but two were at about 30 and the other two tires were at about 22. I also had a tire missing the cap. I was uncomfortable driving my car with the low pressure all the way back to jiffy lube, so I just went and filled them up myself. Hopefully jiffy lube would have been willing to fix the mistake if I had gone back, but I didn't find out. Either way though I won't go back to this jiffy lube. It's difficult enough finding time to get my car taken care of; I don't want to go to a place that's going to cost me even more time because the job wasn't done right the first time. read more
