Originally came in for an oil change. They vacuum which is nice and a few other things. They brought to my attention that my front light was out, so they charged me 15 to fix it. Would have been great, but they did not do anything but charge me. I later watched a youtube video on light bulb replacements, and it then worked so not a fuse issue. Who knows though. Maybe they honestly forgot to replace my bulb. This happened a few years back in case the company reads these. read more

I went to this jiffy lube the other day and they treated me better than any other oil change place I've ever been to. While I was waiting they brought to my attention that the last jiffy lube I had been to in Downey didn't put in the air filter that I paid for! They didn't have to, but they gave me a free air filter. I got a transmission flush as well, and after everything with some discounts they applied, they saved me $100! Go see billy, he's a rad dude. Don't see a jiffy lube in Downey unless you want to pay for something you won't receive. read more

This is the best place to go for an oil change, by far. Every time I've come here everyone has been so helpful, and very fast. Their willingness to help is not something I've found elsewhere. It's amazing what an engine flush and oil change make to you're car. Stopped in today at jiffy lube and by far the best service and costumer service from any other jiffy lube. Yelp did not disappoint. I needed an oil change on a short notice before I left for a trip early the next morning. I searched on Yelp and Jiffy Lube popped up. I usually take my car to the dealer and did not know the first thing about what I needed. I called them up and they were very helpful over the phone and gave me some estimates and pricing and told me it could be done in 20 minutes as a walk-in. I was thrilled because of the short notice and rushed on over where I was greeted by Lester who took in my car and got my information. He helped me every step of the way and even advised me on the type of oil change I needed and any other recommended services such as changing my engine filter. I was able to find a coupon online which made the price comprable to the dealership. Not only that I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. This location has top notch customer service. All of the mechanics I encountered were friendly. As soon as I parked on the drive way, a mechanic came to greet me and briefly explained how the process works. I appreciate the fact that they did not try to sell me unnecessary add-ons (i.e. air filter, wind wipers, transmission fluid), unlike other oil change specialists I have been to in the past. read more

Do not come here for a/c issues. I came here and had my fluid replaced, left and then my a/c was blowing warm air. I called them up and informed them of the occurrence. They told me to bring it in. I returned the next day. The technician could not understand what the problem was because he didn't find a leak. He suggested I return the next day when Jason was there. I was informed Jason was more knowledgeable in this area. I returned a third time. Waited 2 hours for a part which had to be ordered and installed. I wasn't charged for this but the problem continued. I will have to take my car to a mechanic... read more

Told them exactly what I usually have done and did not pressure me at all when upselling recommended services (which I appreciate!) and made it an easy process. I went to this Orange location about 3-4 months ago and was greeted by a young female and I asked how much a oil change would be using my own oil and filter, she took me inside where the manager who was a white male said it would be $ 20.00 so I returned again 4/17/16 and was greeted by a Hispanic man speaking broken English and asked him how much a oil change would be using my own oil and filter, he turned around and spoke Spanish to what appeared to be the manager and he said with a s#$t eating grin $36.00 I said with my oil and filter and again he said yes. I guess now that White people are the minority he is getting the last laugh. read more

I have been coming to this Jiffy Lube location for years now because of their excellent service. I am now compelled to write this review because I am very pleased with their brake service. I have had serious problems with the steering wheel shimmying when braking. The brake technician, Steve, came out and explained in detail what the problem was and how he would rectify the problem. The service was prompt, less costly than I anticipated and, most importantly, I now have wonderful, safe brakes! The technician is knowledgeable and courteous and I couldn't be more pleased! This Jiffy Lube location honored the Coupon advertisement for a signature service oil change at $24.99, using PENZOIL as the ad implied. Service was fast and they did not try to sell me any other service. The Santa Ana location wanted to charge me $37.99 for 10-30 oil, which is recommended by my car's manufacturer, even with the $24.99 coupon. I will be returning to the Orange location, not to Santa Ana. read more

I've been taking 6 cars here over the last few years and have never had a bad experience gere. Everybody remembers me and takes care of the needs of the car, not just the need to sell new air filters and windshield wipers. I only come here for oil changes, and will continue to until I move out of the area. Even when one time I was obnoxious and I had to decline a belt change after they put it on, we came to an agreement and I left happy. read more

I am writing this review in hopes of saving someone from spending hundreds of unnecessary dollars! I went to this location because I noticed while I was driving that my car had a slow oil leak and so I stopped in and asked if they could look at it. While very polite and quick (my reason for using Jiffy Lube in the past) they told me I was going to require multiple parts to be replaced and it would run me close to 800$. I told them I'd have to come back later in the week (mainly because I wanted a second opinion) and when I got my second opinion I was told I'd need to replace a plug that'd cost me around 50$ and that was all. I was shocked that Jiffy Lube would try to rip me off to that extent, but then I guess I shouldn't have been, knowing it's a business and that's what a lot of businesses do. Hopefully you don't stuck trusting this shop, I know I'll never be going back. read more

Greeted quickly and asked up front what we were there for since they do more than just oil changes, and when I said I was there for the oil change asked if I wanted synthetic or regular oil. Everyone was great including Billy who thoroughly explained all that needs attention, whether now or later, and gave good advice for future reference. Quick and professional service, exactly what I was hoping for. Had the mechanics today try to upsale me on everything. Instead of going with the comparable cheaper oil, they just tried to assume I would take the most expensive and didn't want to explain my options. Also when I asked about coupons, they tried to give me the least beneficial ones. I know how much to expect to pay so I ultimately could get what I wanted, but to feel taken advantage of as a woman in this industry is not something that should be happening.
