The service was prompt even on a Saturday where Firestone was rude and said I'd end up waiting a whole day for my car, while the Jiffy Lube staff was friendly and helpful when it came to making sure I got a good deal on my services. I normally get my oil changed at the Subaru dealership but they usually take an hour and I was short on time so I decided to go to Jiffy lube instead. They did get me out of there in about 30 minutes but unfortunately there is an awful burning smell coming from my engine now. It has been 5 days with many miles of driving and it has not even lessened. Sometimes a few drops of oil will spill here or there and it burns off in a couple of hour's driving time. Either they spilled a large amount of oil on the engine or they incorrectly installed something and it is leaking. Now I am going ot have to go to the dealership and pay (and wait) to have the issue diagnosed. Best case scenerio they badly mucked up a practically new car; worst case they broke something costly. Either way I will never return to Jiffy Lube and I would suggest any of my friends to do the same. read more

I was in for an oil change and my tire light was on so I had them rotate and check my tires. The person reassured me the tire was fine and just low pressure. The next day the light came on again and took it in to a different place and they found 2 nails in the tire. Because I was suspicious of their quality, I checked my oil and it was a half quart low meaning they didn't fill it up. I have called several times for a manager and always told he's not there. I haven't been to a Jiffy Lube in 15 years, and now I remember why. They are complete crooks! The service tech tried to tell me that I need special synthetic blend oil on a stock GMC Sierra truck.
