Another great experience at my favorite Jiffy Lube! Today I came in with an unusual problem: I had heard the cries of a distressed kitten coming from my car. Miguel was very kind and professional when I explained my problem, and he promptly got one of the techs to inspect my vehicle. Unfortunately the kitten wasn't found, but I truly appreciate how my situation was handled. I was not charged for the inspection either. This is why I always come to this shop for maintenance on my car. P. S. It turns out there was indeed a kitten trapped in my car. The kitten had gotten itself stuck in the fender behind the shielding of the wheel well, which required the expertise of a body shop. read more

Drove 30 mins to this location for an Uber vehicle inspection. On the Uber app, they recommended multiple locations that offer free vehicle inspections. I chose this one because it was the closest. Upon arrival, I'm told that the inspection will cost $40. After showing the employee that the Uber app advertises their location as offering this service for free, I was told something along the lines of "they don't have control over the website." Confused but understanding, I let them do the inspection anyways. Upon first glance they tell me that I have to go to "Uber Hub" instead to get the inspection done, the reason being that a minor crack in my window is "an automatic fail at this location." Firstly, the crack is barely visible and literally smaller than a dime. Secondly, why would it only be a fail at this location? Again I was confused, and this time unhappy because I felt like I drove 30 mins for nothing. Without disputing them, I left and went to the next nearest Jiffy Lube. My experience at the location in Santa Ana was very different. I pulled my car in and the employee started the inspection without mentioning any fee. Mid-inspection I ask if there's any charge, and he says no. I mention that the Jiffy Lube I just came from was going to charge me $40, and the employee says "Was it the one on Katella?" I say yes. He says "Yea...they're just saying that actually. It's no charge because we're charging Uber for the inspections actually." He finishes the inspection, hands me back my completed form, and I'm on my way. The fact that this employee already knew which location I was talking about speaks volumes. Does this mean that this location knows what it says online and is lying? Or does this mean that they don't have control over what it says online and they're trying to take advantage of people? Regardless, I am very glad I went to the location at 2025 N Tustin Avenue to get my inspection done for free instead of $40. The only positive thing I have to say about this location was that the employees were kind. read more

Lost my trust. I have always gone to jiffy lube for the value. This is my first time at this location. Upon waiting I noticed two other people being told by the technician that they inspected the vehicle and suggested wiper blade change. When it came to my turn they said that my wiper blades will need to be replaced or suggested to be as it's in the yellow. I found that highly unlikely as I just replaced them 2 days prior. They claim to have inspected the vehicle. Auto maintenance mechanics are supposed to be trusted. This incident left me concerned that they are here much more than to provide honest service but upsell to the point of dishonesty. At best this is the only thing they are lying about. At worst they are scam artists and not doing the service they claim to be doing read more
