My experience at this location was awful all around. I had to wait nearly 30 minutes just to speak with someone at the front counter. I understand you are busy, but this was unacceptable. I asked for a quote on a tune up and no one even told me what the cost of the estimate would be until it was completed. Completely unethical. Car care should be done by a place that is trustworthy. UPDATE: Jiffy Lube corporate has offered to resolve the issue. I really appreciate them taking the time to fix this. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'm sorry to say I won't be coming to Jiffy Lube anymore. I was shown transmission fluid that was dark and had particulate matter in it and told I needed to replace it right away because it should be cherry red. I was also told coolant and battery needed to be replaced ASAP because they were dangerously old. I trusted this information and paid about $600 total to have all these things done plus oil. Drove the car for about 1000 miles and went to another mechanic in town for an unrelated sensor issue. This mechanic, DMC transmission, showed me the same dark fluid particulate matter etc. they said the oil was perfect and battery perfect, but showed me that trans fluid and coolant were old, trans not cherry red but dirty and coolant had .25 volts charge, meaning it needed to be replaced. DMC has 5 stars on yelp and they didn't want to say outright that jiffy lube didn't do the work, but that maybe they just replaced half the fluid or something because coolant and trans fluid were old. At this point I was very disappointed in jiffy lube and frustrated. I had the fluids replaced and system flushed at DMC and returned to jiffy lube to ask for a refund of just those two services. They refused and said I should have returned the car as soon as I found the old fluids. I understand why they said this but my car was already being worked on at DMC and I felt like I couldn't trust jiffy lube after seeing that the fluid was not new as it should have been. Anyway I was denied a refund and ended up paying for those service twice. Jiffy lube says it's a he said she said situation but if the fluid is showing dirty and contaminated 1000 miles after they said they replaced it then it's clear to me that jiffy lube either didn't do the services or didn't do them properly. It's sad because I've gone to this location for many years and always trusted them. I understand they need to protect their business but I'm not trying to scam them, just trying to get a refund for a poorly done service. I will not come back. read more

Worse service ever!! I have been bringing my car here for years and got to be really good friends with the former employees but now worse service. Came in for a basic oil change waited longer just to pay then the actual service. I literally sat waiting for 40 mins to pay and leave. Never returning after being a loyal customer for 9 years. Unfortunately, I had a really serious bad experience. On December 2018 I took my Car for a Transmission oil service just because I wanted to have a good condition and to be updated on my car services. With 54000 miles. After that service my car started to feel weak with no strength at all. I went back and spoke with Shane the Manager, they re due the service because they didn't put the correct amount of oil that my car needed, my Car continued with same problem. Manager suggested to take the car to a shop for a diagnostic. I took my car and per diagnostic,Wrong Fluid was inserted to my car. My car has been totally damaged by the transmission, by their mistake. To not make this too long. Jiffy Lube, does not willing to pay the damages that they did to my car. Not even half of what I have to pay for the damages. I would have to pay it out of my pocket. If I'm writing this review is because people needs to know this serious matter. Please be careful, Cars are expensive in all the aspects. Take care of your cars. DO NOT take your car with this Unprofessional company, they do not take care of your car and do not care of their customers. if i could put zero stars i truly would.. i went in for a simple oil change.. after my oil change was finished i got out of my car to pay and the associate got in my car to reset the oil percentage and oil filter which i had absolutely no problem with until i realized he had no idea on how to reset the oil and filter.. after resetting my mpg miles and my trip miles with 3/4 of a tank of gas, he asked someone else to try and reset it.. this is now the second person not sanitized in my vehicle touching everything they can touch.. i told the gentleman in my car who appeared to be the manager that if he was trying to reset my oil & filter that i know how to do it so i didnt need him to, mind you the last time i got an oil changed there i told them the same thing and it wasnt an issue.. he proceeded to stay in the car and told me he could do it for me and i told him no because of covid and he laughed then said " oh really " then told me " i can assure you there's no covid here " which in my opinion is a terrible response because you truly dont know what someone has going on at home.. not to mention on my way to work approximately 4 hours after i got my oil change, they never tightened my screws on my splash shield and that came loose as i was driving to work and i needed a highway patrol to escort me off the freeway to a gas station cause sparks were coming from underneath the car slightly.. read more

I've always changed my own oil and filters, (for about 45 years now) but was visiting oxnard and needed an oil change.somebody recommended this place. the "tech" comes walking in the waiting room with a filthy air filter,obviously not mine. when I change an air filter I always date em with a felt marker. here's the worst part, I totally took the chickenchit route and said yeah,just replace it! just wasn't up for a confrontation. heck, they probably put my used oil back in too! after sharing my story turns out most folks are aware of this rip-off joint! on edit, this was over a year ago now, these scam artists may be long gone. but maybe not! read more

For the second time now iv had my oil changed from this location and I must say after being a little hesitant at first being that its a "Jiffy Lube" and their quick service motto but each time i walked away completely satisfied with their service from start to finish. I have a 2014 VW CC, I took in my car for a oil change and tire rotation. My initial impression was that every one seem very helpful and tentative. Once I chose the service I wanted done, I sat and waited. The service for just a oil change and tire rotation did appeared to take a bit long. Once the car was done I was escorted to my vehicle in a rushed manner, which hit me as a surprise since that was not how I felt in the beginning. Here is were things start going down hill. Part of the service was to vacuum the carpet and wash the windows. Which the windows were cleaner before the service. Secondly I noticed they did not vacuum the carpet. I mention that right away and the service representative said "Oh I'll go do that right away, it would only take two minutes". He took the car around and I decided to wait there since he said it would only take two minutes. Time went on after 15min I decided to go inside the waiting area, since the day was hot. I approached the counter and through the window I notice the service representative was messing with the steering wheel. Which was odd since he said he was just going to vacuum the carper. A few minutes later he comes in and said its done. This time he did not walk me out to the my car. I thanked him and walked out. When I approached the car he had left the car on and the door open. Now, that's not too bad. Except we do live in Oxnard and well that could had gone really bad. Anyways I also thought it was strange that he had left the car on. I decided to turn off the car and turn it back on. When doing that I noticed that the service representative forgot to re-set the service due on the car. I walked back and asked told the service representative that they forgotten to re-set the service timer. He responded, "We don't do that here". But yet he walked back to my car and decided to try to change it. He was not able to figure out how to change it, a different service  representative approached the car. He said "We'll have to google this" He spend 10min and still was not able to change it. Then the first service representative came back with his phone on Youtube and tried to change it. It took him a few minutes but he was able to do it. At this time I was disappointed with the service. But I was glad it was over. When I got home I walked around the car and noticed that they had broken four lug nut covers. Please email me a response or call me. I can provide photos of the damages. was disappointed to see the cashier show 3 different customers the same air filter saying it was dirty an needed replaced. then tried to do the same to my wife I let him know what I had seen of course he denied it. then a month latter and many miles I changed oil and filter myself found out the filter they use is half the recommended size it was supposed to be saving JL a half a quart of oil on every oil change and leaving you with half the filter capacity. GUESS YOU REALLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I will never go back there. read more

After a routine oil change and inspection, Jiffy Lube told me I needed rear brakes...and how fortunate for me, they were having a brake special! I didn't have time, however, so I took a big risk and drove away with "bad brakes." I finally took my car to my car local dealership. Lo and behold, my front and rear brakes were FINE! How unscrupulous! To lie to a customer is downright evil. Or maybe they are just incompetent. Either way, I won't give Jiffy Lube my business any more. Not even for an oil change. I came back to this Jiffy Lube after having gotten an oil change there to take advantage of their free fluid top off policy. I was not aware that the free top off is only good for 3 months OR 3,000 miles. I missed 3 months by about 10 days. I was told that they would top off my oil for a $4 charge, which I paid. Bummer for Jiffy Lube that they missed an opportunity to provide outstanding service! Having managed a business, I know such decisions are up to a manager's discretion. The manager was the one who informed me I would have to pay. Unfortunately, for the $4 they gained from me, they lost all future business I would surely have given them had they chosen to provide excellent service. Getting out and leaving your car with a stranger is always an awkward experience. However, Allan was professional and patient as I collected the trash of my recent KFC trip. Aaron and I went over the mileage-service ratio which was very helpful and while it helped me make decisions on what services I needed I didn't feel pressured into buying anything I didn't want. FoxNews was on the TV and the conversation in the waiting room was different and colorful which was nice and not nice at the same time. I left a 4 star rating because the wait can always be more welcoming, but overall service was great. read more

I've been coming here since this location opened. This time had worst experience. When my car was finally done I waited for guy before me to pay. Then cashier decided to call another customer who wasn't even there and it took 15 minutes for him to process her credit card over the phone. I told him that it wasn't cool what he had just done, making me wait with cash while he called customer who wasn't there and just got FU attitude and said he didn't care. Then guy couldn't even count change I gave him. To top it all when I got in my car, the mileage for next oil change was for only 2500 miles not 3500. My car kept telling me oil change required and I didn't feel like going down to Camarillo to the dealership I purchased it from. A friend recommended that I try Jiffy Lube. I'll tell you, I wasn't disappointed one bit. Called first to see if they require an appointment. They are a first come first serve which is different but it worked well. The employee on the phone who assisted me was very friendly and informative. So we pull up and are greeted immediately and are shown where the restrooms are and that they have fresh coffee and water available. They call us up and get my cars information pulled up on their screen, show me what the manufacture recommends and what they have additionally and what the costs are. It was nice to go get a little shopping done with the conviencd of an outlet shopping center within walking distance. So about and hour and a half later we go get my car. The associate goes over everything saying all my fluids are now full my tires are up to pressure and my cars been vacuumed out. I have officially found my new service station. read more

I had $2000+ repair work done in 1/2016. On a trip to Vegas an alternator still under warranty went out and had to be replaced. Fortunately it was almost in Vegas when it happened and not in the middle of the desert. Talked to the district manager, Justin, who was very nice and told me Jiffy Lube would pay for the new alternator right away and then collect from their part's supplier. It is now 6 weeks and no check. When we went to Jiffy Lube yesterday, we were told we now need to collect from the supplier because the district manager had been too busy opening a new store to make good on his promise. I had been pleased with my service in the past but wonder how his team is going to take care of new customers if they can't take care of their old ones. read more
