I had a great experience with this specific Jiffy Lube. My Maintenance req. light came on and I knew I had to get it done soon since I drive over 40 miles a day. I usually stick to my usual Firestone but oddly there isn't one in pasadena, so after grabbing some Starbucks i decided too make a quick turn into Jiffy Lube just to see how much it was. I got the standard oil change which was about 45$. I was able to use their coupon of 13$ off to bring it down to a total of 34$ Awesome! Not only did they allow me to use the coupon, they said they have a "top off" service, where i can come back in the next month, or three months (I don't remember) and check my oil levels! There was more to this service but i cant really remember and I don't want to give out wrong information, sorry! Anyway, the service was very quick! I was there and out in under 15 minutes! They even cleaned my windows and vacuumed my floor! Wow. I did not expect all of that. The men there were super sweet. I would definitely come back here! This location had me in and out in a Jiffy... Get it? Ok, so for some reason I can't avoid saying.. or in this case typing corny jokes lol. It's a habit I have and can't figure out how, when or where I picked it up. They changed my oil in about 10 mins or so and they were having a special so I saved $15 off of their normal price which I think was $39.99. They also pressurized my tires for me and didn't try and sucker me into purchasing a bunch of other products or services. Al in all, this was a good experience. read more

What heck? Why am I being charged $30 for labor? This should not be charged as they get a salary and it's not like a huge maintenance issue...$98 for a basic oil change , yes with synthetic oil but that 30 dollar labor fee is sooooo not cool! I went during the pandemic and the crew was helpfuland fast, however after driving a couple blocks my car started making clicking noises. I still have yet to figure out what happened but it hasn't gone away a few days later. The first time I went here the cap for the oil wasn't on tightly enough and oil spilled all around the engine. I paid a pretty penny to at a Mini service dealer to get it assessed, cleaned up, and fixed. The crew is nice and quick but I'm worried it's too much of a liability now. read more

We were heading up to the Rose Bowl from San Diego for a concert and out oil service light came on mind journey, as we got close to Pasadena, we decided to see if we could get a quick oil service done just to be safe on the way back home. So we googled and the 1st place that came up was this Jiffy Lube (#1027) on E. Walnut St, we drove up and were greeted by some really friendly staff, said it would take 15-20min, so we went in and sat in the reception areas. Then David (the team lead) came and went over the details and I have to say, he was a true rock star, super friendly went over the details and said he would have us out in 15mins or so and true to his word it was super fast. I have to give kudos to David, he was so nice and friendly took care of us and made us feel like our car was in good hands, he is a credit to Jiffy Lube, as you never know when you take you car to a service point if they will try to up-sell etc, but David was 100% focused on the customer and made us feel at ease, Once the car was done we were of to our concert at the Rose Bowl, so if you are in the area or passing through, I would highly recommend going by this place, great service and friendly staff as well as fair prices. Loved this Jiffy Lube location back in pre-CV times! But now, they need to get serious about a CV-compliant protocol for workers, and fast. The waiting room is dismantled, so you have to stay in your car during servicing. Yesterday this meant that the employee was continually interacting with me through my open car window from about 18" away, or opening my door--where's the code? what's the mileage? open the hood latch?, etc. I'm not coming back until they have the employees observe the 6' social distancing expectation (easy) and wear masks when interacting with customers (also easy). The young person on duty yesterday acted completely unaware that you're not supposed to be up in someone's face these days. read more

I thought maybe it was just this Jiffy Lube location that was horrible, unprofessional and incapable of providing accurate and respectful service, but I have yet to hear from Jiffy Lube corporate even though I replied via email to their stock response that they copy to every one star review. To top that off, when I was driving home from work at midnight, the 9 out of 10 screws holding on my skid plate that, according to the the manager of this location "should hold", came detached and I am left driving with a dragging skid plate in the middle of the night. Jiffy Lube will damage your car and do nothing to fix their error. I cannot say enough how bad my experience was and is. ***Update*** I took my car to a real mechanic today and was informed that due to Jiffy Lube's neglect, my skid plate needs to be replaced, a $400 cost. Do not take your car to Jiffy Lube. The cost will be more than the price of the oil change. read more

He described the possible services, and then I told him what I needed, showed him the coupon that had been electronically sent to me and he applied it to the synthetic oil treatment and change I had done to my vehicle. First of all, these hoe ass tricks barely doing they jobs. I was waiting over 30 minutes next in line and then they let 2 people who came after me go before me in the next lines over, they made me move my car over to the next line because apparently the car in that line was about to leave, another 10 minutes later and the line I was in prior had been moving. Also, when I pointed it out they were passive aggressive. They don't care who rightfully drives in first. I also got PTSD from that man's ratchet nose ring. Some very disappointing and overpriced BS. Don't go to this place if you have self respect, I rather let a random crackhead do my oil change. read more
