I went to this location to get an oil change and the service was excellent! Richard, Dionicio, and Edgar were professional and efficient. The service was quick! Richard informed me of all the necessary recommendations for my car and I didn't feel pressured but will return to have these things completed. I use to go to this Jiffy Lube years ago and after several times not being satisfied with the service, I stopped going. I just moved back to the area and needed the oil change and considered going some place else. At the last minute, I figured I would give them a try after so many years and I was pleasantly surprised at the friendly, prompt, and professional service. Upon arriving, I asked how much an oil change would cost for my Jeep. The response was $44. I noted that I had a coupon ($13) and got confirmation that it would be applied. 20 minutes later, my vehicle was ready but the invoice totaled over $50. They tried to charge me for extra oil that my vehicle doesn't require and added on additional charges that were not disclosed when I agreed to have them perform the service. When I confronted the manager, I was asked to produce a written estimate despite one of the employees confirming everything that I said. Ultimately, they conceded and I paid the originally communicated amount. Bottom line, they either can't or won't clearly communicate what the price is for services. I won't return to any business that intentionally creates ambiguity to extract more money from its customers. read more

I experience at this Jiffy Lube. Everyone has always been friendly and respectful and I've been coming here for years. Today, during COVID, I came in to have my oil changed. The man who was working the computer was not wearing a mask, but two guys who each did some of the work on my car were. The heavy set white man, with a beard, was standing right next to my window (I parked in the far right lane as directed) without a mask. I rolled up my window to limit my exposure to him. then he reached over and opened my car door to ask my a question. Surprised, I asked him "do you not wear a mask?" And he responded "oh I do. I do wear a mask"..... while it was no where in sight still. He asked me a few more questions and typed on the computer, maskless, before going into the building (WHY WOULD YOU KEEP A NECESSARY PEICE OF EQUIPMENT FOR EVERY INTERACTION AWAY FROM YOUR WORK STATION!?) and returning with a mask hooked around his ear. He asked several more questions (opening my car door each time!) before covering his face. This was alarming and disappointing. The two men who worked on my car were both polite, helpful and safe, which is what I am used to when coming to this location! Jiffy lube, please talk to this guy about being in a pandemic and working without a mask on. He was front on center of my interaction here and did not apologize- in fact seemed annoyed that I asked him about his mask, which indicates to me that this is an ongoing o issue rather than a one time whoopsie! read more

They move pretty quick and I've never had an issue afterwards. They will, like most Jiffy Lubes, try to up sell you on cabin air filters and such, but it seems like they make a note in your file if you ask them to not do it. read more

So I was very surprised after this last visit when I was told I needed to have my rear tail light fixed, was charged for the service and later that night I checked it and saw that it was not fixed at all. Go here for services in Pasadena!!! I had gone to the other location (on Colorado) for an oil change then right away heard scraping while driving. We had went back to the location & told them our issue & he said they were closed for the next hour at 12:30 pm & told me to go to the other location (which is this one). I was so frustrated that they made a mistake but didn't want to deal with it. Fast forward, we come to this location, explain it to them & they helped me! They apologized, serviced me and found that they screwed something under my car incorrectly and lost bolts and they replaced them for me as well. They continuously apologized and communicated with us throughout the whole process and didn't charge us for anything. Honestly, so appreciated and such a nice and genuine group of people!! Twice I want this weekend to get tires rotated. On Saturday I was told by sole employee they were closing early and to come on Sunday. On Sunday I am told their lift equipment is not working and they can't do the change. I asked how long it.had been broken because I was told to come back on Sunday. The employee told me it had been broken for months and furthermore their cashier system was broken and could not take payment even if they wanted to. I asked why the company is not fixing things and how can they maintain a business. I went to Jiffy Lube on 6/19 and got the High Mileage Signature Service. The crew herded me in like a head of cattle. I specifically mentioned that I needed all of the fluids checked. Do you think they filled the Windshield Wiper Fluid? Hell no. Oh, but hey! I signed the receipt, right? They say they give you all of these extra services, but don't. If I wanted that, I could have easily gone to Pep Boys. I don't have time to do things twice. I would rather you take an extra 5 minutes to be thorough, rather than be quick. If there's one thing I abhor it's dishonesty and poor customer service. You pay for a Signature Service. You follow your vehicle manufacturer's maintenance schedule. If you exceed three thousand miles, two things happen. One, they don't honor the basics of the Signature Service. They refused to top off any fluids in my car citing that it was limited to three thousand miles only. Anyone that does any ready knows full well that you do NOT need to change your oil every three thousand miles. That is a marketing scam that they have used for years. Jiffy Lube needs to do a few things. Stop lying to your customers. Fully disclose the parameters of services offered. Post prices for services clearly on signage (seems simple enough)... Teach the employees how to treat people properly. Condescending kids with snarky remarks are not desirable. I did in fact contact their customer service number. I made my complaints known. Each location is a franchise. Weeks have passed. I have not heard from corporate or the franchisee. As such, I am left to believe the franchisee endorses this type of behavior. If you note the response below, they're asking me to do something I've already done. They have both my email and phone numbers and I haven't heard one peep. All the comment below does is place the burden of responsibility back upon me as the consumer to resolve the issue. Since I've already communicated on both Yelp and Facebook without tangible results, why would I make additional efforts?
