I had never been to a Jiffy Lube before, but while visiting my family in Southern CA, I noticed that my mother's car needed oil. I popped into the closest Jiffy Lube and within 20 minutes they had diagnosed all the problems with the car, changed oil, filters, filled liquids and air in tires and changed windshield wipers. About one week after I got my Cadillac oil changed here jiffy lube on hill and walnut in Pasadena, all of a sudden the big clicking, ticking noise can be heard from the driver's side of the engine--mainly from the area of the left front cylinder , I took the vehicle to a auto shop to get it checked. found out the noise probably caused by a bad cam and lifter which might be damaged by a bad oil change. I went back to the jiffy lube, immediately after I told the manager what happened with my car, he told me to step outside the waiting room where full of the people. so we talked outside after I explained the detail, he immediately deny the damage, saying there is totally nothing to do with their oil and he won't take any further diagnose, Man, I just hate that attitude! is there a customer complain department within jiffy lube? read more

I came in today to get an oil change. I've been coming to Jiffy Lube on and off for years. Today the price was way more than I expected, however, the customer service was wonderful. I let them know how much I typically remember paying and both the front desk attendant (didn't catch his name) and the manager went out of their way to help me get what my car needed for the best price. The manager in particular was really nice and accommodating and even advised I would get a coupon for my next visit (the front desk attendant didn't give it to me though and I didn't realize until I had driven away...but I'm assuming he forgot). As a new resident to Pasadena it's a bit of a headache to find new and most importantly good local businesses to transfer all of your usual services to. So when it came to needing an oil change I was so pleased to see there was a Jiffy Lube near me. My boyfriend had already checked out this location a week prior and said that the service was speedy. Happy to say that my experience was no different. As soon as I arrived Edgar and Dionicio were quick to attend to me and to my car of course. Within minutes of sitting down inside the manager already came in to give me the estimate of what would be done today. And once again within minutes he was back to advised they were finishing up, quickly went over everything they did and took me to the counter to check out. Richard, the manager, was very professional and kind. Allowed me to use a coupon on the website with no problem, and was also kind enough to recommend me to a local mechanic for a separate issue I was concerned about regarding my engine. This was truly a 5 star experience. For starters, they are open on Sundays, which is very convenient for those of us with full time jobs and busy lives. I went in around 2:30pm and was immediately taken care of by José. The oil change took less than 15 minutes and the waiting area had clean bathrooms, comfortable seating and coffee. I was given a greater discount than my coupon even amounted to and then it was suggested that I replace my air filter. José explained the benefits of doing so which I appreciated since I am not car savvy. He even gave me a discount on that as well. The cherry on top of a great experience was when they vacuumed my car and washed my windshield. I recommend this location with every cell of my being. read more

Came in for a simple oil change. Tech said Nissan suggests transmission service and radiator flush...ok, I took the bait! Two days later my car is leaking antifreeze everywhere, I take it back and they tell me there's a leak in the radiator! It wasn't there before I came in! They claimed it happens in older cars! Maybe you should warn people before you screw up their cars that this can happen! I had to buy a new radiator. My mechanic called the corporate offices and complained, so Richard (the manager) called and said he'd refund the cost of the radiator flush. When I went in to collect, no one spoke to me, Jose just motioned for me to come to the counter and sign for the refund. Richard peeked out of his rat hole, oops, I mean cubbyhole to get a look at me but never said anything. On top of that they broke my oil dipstick in the tube and failed to tell me! Again, their claim was; (say it with me...) "it happens in older cars!" They said the tool to get the broken dipstick out of the hole was locked up and I'd have to come back. Luckily, my coworker had one of the tools and removed the dipstick. They are pitiful, I will never return to this shop again and have advised my family and friends as well as people on social media not to bother going there either. Go anywhere else, you'll be glad you did. read more
