A PRE-CANCER WARD. I went in for an oil change for my car. I tried to sit in the waiting area, but it was filled with tobacco odors. There was one other customer in the waiting area, but she was not smoking. I asked if there was another waiting area and was told I could go outside. I did and it was fine, but I gave for worse. When the oil change was done, I entered my car. My car reeked of tobacco. The oil change was fine and the price was good, but there are plenty of other Jiffy Lubes. If you don't mind inhaling tobacco vapors, this location is fine. I, personally, will not go this Jiffy Lube ever again. read more

The staff at Jiffy Lube store 1027 WALNUT & HILL Pasadena, Ca.....had the best customer service and professionalism I've seen in any business in a long time. Upon arrival I was greeted with a welcoming atmosphere. David, Richard and the rest of the staff took care of me which I greatly appreciate. I was explained in detail what was going to be done with my car and what was needed. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable. I watched tv and drank hot coffee which was available to me. I think this is probably the best service I've ever experienced at a oil change. The entire staff was helpful and super respectful. They explained everything and every charge and were very thorough. They even changed my headlight for me at no charge since I couldn't get the bulb out when i tried myself. I highly recommend and will be back. I had a bad experience with Pasadena Pep Boys where they had my car for an oil change that I had made an appointment for at 11:30am and kept my car til closing only to find they couldn't change my oil because they stripped my drain plug and had no solution. Jiffy Lube not only took the time to take the stripped drain plug off, but they generously replaced the part and performed my oil change at a discounted rate. I wouldn't normally go to a Jiffy Lube, mainly due to my loyalty to my long term mechanic and suspicion of chain establishments, but I didn't have the time to go/drop the car off and wait for an oil change at my regular shop. I went there before work today, and they changed out my oil, topped off the coolant and did so efficiently and professionally. José at this location was fast, funny, and friendly! I expressed to him my concerns on the oil change prices and he gave me options that I was most comfortable with. From my experience, every time I've gone to Valvoline to get an oil change they always try to haggle me and pressure me to get the most expensive option for my car. Although José did assure me that they carry premium oils that will make my car run better, smoother, and longer he found the right oil that option for my car that I was most comfortable with paying for. Overall, my first time here was without a doubt a good experience. Came in in a hurry during my lunch break - as always I was given the good gesture of the break room, bathroom, etc. Walter is very knowledgeable and experienced in pretty much any question you can think of asking - so don't be afraid to ask!! I always go to Jiffy Lubes to get the oil change for my cars, however this certain location gave me a lot of problems. First of all it was expensive, it was $55, I came in with a coupon I got from their location from the Jiffy Lube website, which was valid, however they tried to tell me it wasn't, and then once I got the oil change, they didn't even put a sticker on the windshield of when I had to change the oil again (which is common of all oil changes! also it is after/ around 7,000 miles). I drove off, and then I had to go back for the sticker, in which they gave me the wrong sticker (for another car), and had to go back in again. I asked if they even changed the oil and the service man did not respond to me. I usually go to Jiffy Lubes in the Sacramento Area since that is where I live, I went to change the oil for my daughters car since I am visiting her. I will not come back to this location ever again, don't waste your time or money here. read more
