Went to the Jiffy Lube on Saturday, February 15, 2020. Had an oil change. After the staff completed the pre-check, they called me to the desk to discuss my options. I confirmed the usual oil to use, and then he presented a strip of paper which had multiple colors on it. He said it was for the brake fluid and states the fluid was contaminated and should be changed. I told him that was interesting since his staff had allegedly replaced the brake fluid two oil changes ago. He starts stammering and tries to tell me there was probably some left over contamination left in the brake lines and it was being picked up by the test strip. Yes, the staff member actually said that. I passed on addressing the brake fluid replacement. I have a package of brake fluid test strips that I had purchased from the Auto Zone, which is next door. As I was getting ready to check out, he went over the final check list of items reviewed on my vehicle . He said all the lights were good, which I already knew there were two in the front that were out out. I showed the two non-working lights to him. He became very apologetic and had no explanation as to why they were checked off as being good. I then got a rag and checked the transmission fluid. It was below the minimums on the dip stick. When I asked about the low transmission fluid and the fact it was not addressed with me, he could not tell me why it was checked off as having been checked, and yet, it was low when I checked it. With this experience, I have lost confidence in the Jiffy Lube staff on Spring Creek to perform any work I pay for. I have no confidence if they have been using the correct oil ( synthetic) and substituting it with the much cheaper non-synthetic oil. I have no idea if they actually change the filter when they do the oil change. On the transmission fluid, I later found a leaking gasket. I do not know in they have loosened a screw on the pan that also holds holds the gasket seal in place. Way too many questions now about their honesty. People engaging in business practices like these are the ones that eventually end up on the news reports of questionable business practices. Avoid the Jiffy Lube on Spring Creek in Plano at all costs. You go there at your own financial and personal safety well being. read more

Took my new Acura for a simple oil change. They used nylon cable ties to replace the oil plate cover back which came out when driving. Simply the worst and could have been very dangerous situation because of their sloppyness. read more

When I walked in the waiting area it was clean and nice. They immediately took my car in. They vacuumed my car. Unfortunately I have been to many oil change places trying to find a good one. Before today none have vacuumed my car. They are now cleaning my windows! So far so good. When I was going to check out of course they tried to sell me on all these things. Which a couple of them I literally just replaced. My father in law is a shop foreman at Mercedes so he always double checks what they suggest... Ugh!!! I wanted to find a place that I can trust. I've been servicing my car at this location for several years now and I highly recommend this team. They're quick, friendly, and are highly skilled. I've had everything from oil changes to radiator repairs and have left completely satisfied. Picking a garage you can trust is tricky. Worst experience ever, don't stop here. They told me it would be 45 minutes but an hour and a half later was more realistic. The man before me had to return because they forgot to check his vehicle thoroughly, he was not happy either. The service man said my brand new car had a faulty fog light but admitted it's because they didn't know how to turn it on. So I left not thinking anything. I check my car the next day and the fog light was completely busted out. I called the manager and he immediately stated his representatives wouldn't have done such a thing and refused to inquire further. I took off work to bring it and the assist manager said he would review the security cameras and give me a call still nothing!! Save your money and take your car somewhere else. read more

Came in for an oil change, which was a good experience, but was also hearing some squealing on my brake pads. They did a free brake pad inspection. Overall took about 45 minutes. Alex provided great Customer Service, and he was very friendly and knowledgeable - treated the car like his own. read more

8 people working as slow as possible. Most of the time it was 4 of them standing togethor and talking. While they were busy laughing i waited 45 mins for them to start. Again there were 8 people working with 1 car infront of me. The employees obviously dont care but thats not their fault. No one seemed like a leader or manager. You literally couldnt tell, just seemed like none of them cared about woeking there. There is no interest to perform. They have a massage chair and free WiFi in the waiting area so I felt like that was a nice touch. I waited a while to post this review. I gave Jiffy Lube every opportunity to make it right. Back in March, I had an oil change, tire rotation, and new windshield wiper blades put on and done by Jiffy Lube - on Spring Creek pkwy/COIT. Next day, oil is leaking and there is smoke. Turns out it was a sloppy job and left over oil spillage that wasn't cleaned up. They also forgot to remove the plastic protective stripping on the new wiper blades they put on which although no big deal, shows the job was not done with attention to detail. Fast forward about 6 weeks and I discovered they stripped a lug when I got a nail in my tire that needed repair. The tire store brought it to my attention so I brought it back to the Jiffy Lube shop to have them remove the lug so we could get the wheel off. They ended up destroying the wheel because they looked like they chiseled it with a jack hammer. They were unsuccessful removing the wheel and they made arrangements for another shop unrelated to jiffy lube attempt to remove the lug. That shop told me they had destroyed the whole wheel/rim on both the back end side as well as the front. Jiffy Lube decided it didn't want to pay for the work this other shop would have to do so they stopped the second shop from proceeding and told them they would contact me. They didn't. I found out all work had been halted by Jiffy Lube pending a decision by the District Manager named Andrew Duffy. Andrew Duffy was unresponsive and finally the shop who had my car was able to get Andrew to decide to proceed with allowing them to remove my wheel. (I was without a car the entire weekend for this work to happen) Andrew Duffy was nice by phone, promising they would make right. Then he wouldn't return phone calls and it was only my repeated calling and showing up to the shop that Andrew Duffy and the Jiffy Lube store manager named Todd, agreed to replace the wheel. I drove on the spare for 3.5 weeks that was a different size wheel than the rest of my wheels. Finally after one wrong wheel being ordered and waited on, Todd was able to find the correct one on Ebay. The eBay wheel ended up being defective due to delamination/peeling chrome issues (used wheel) and after adding air and having my tire checked three times... tire store informed me it isn't my tire but a bad wheel/rim. Jiffy Lube manager told me that the wheel was not given to me that way. Implying that I damaged it??? Andrew Duffy, District Manager was unresponsive and basically told me there was no damage to the wheel they bought me. After months going back and forth, I ended up having to replace all my wheels. I was unable to find another replacement to the one Jiffy Lube damaged other than the defective one that jiffy lube found on eBay. I couldn't keep adding air everyday and I finally spent $649 for the lowest priced and basic wheels I could find so they all matched and my vehicle was safe and reliable to drive. Both Jiffy Lube, manager and District Manager are no longer willing to help any further. Calls are being returned and they asked for their defective eBay wheel back to dispute it. They have yet to call me back and won't. I doubt they will offer me that money to help go toward my new wheels. Jiffy Lube team is compiled of people who are inexperienced at doing the work on cars they do. Back in March, they were paid by me to provide three very basic and common services on my GMC Yukon. Oil change, tire rotation, and windshield wiper blade replacement. None of the three jobs were performed correctly and ultimately cost me $649 more dollars along with many days without a vehicle, months of stress, and time missed from my work because I was back and forth to tire shops on my lunch or into my workday trying to figure out why my tire wouldn't hold air. This Jiffy Lube location is dishonest and unreliable. They will cut corners and destroy your vehicle. They won't stand behind their work. They won't even return your calls until you have called them multiple times. So much for affordable and convenient service. So much for their slogan, "Leave Worry Behind" What a joke. Tell that to a single mom who is struggling to figure out how to make ends meet after shelling out an additional and unexpected $649 to fix the work Jiffy Lube store #3310 in Plano caused. I wasn't happy with the results of my service here. My SUV was overfilled with oil by 2 full quarts. The staff was nice, but I was told many people are "in training" and they made several obvious errors. I always keep an eye on the work done to my car because some things are just too damaging to ignore....like overfilling or under filling with oil, or transmission fluid, etc. I suggest you do the same at this location especially. read more

This jiffy lube is exceptional. Soooo unlike other crappy auto places. They have a staff that has been there for years and they have been very well trained on customer service. They are friendly, do good, fast work. And when the work is done, they open your car door and are just incredibly polite and respectful folks. Kudos to Rachael who does the greeting and checkout. She is awesome. I could go a lot of places to get an oil change, but it's the high touch service they provide which keeps me coming back. They are truly worth going out of your way for. Took my car for a state inspection, came back an hour and a half later, the car was not worked at. The guy who was supposed to do it got yelled at for that. He took the car, drove it away for 20 minutes. While he was away, apparently he decided to go above an beyond a simple state inspection. So, he ripped the plastic door panel out and unplugged the door controls, leaving the driver window rolled down. Now this plastic panel is warped. My car was deliberately damaged there just because a worker was in a bad mood. read more

I have been using Jiffy Lube off Spring Creek and Coit for nearly 10 years. Last year, we thought we were lucky when our car broke down and we found ourselves next to the store. We stopped in, the guys said our alternator was bad, and that they could fix it. After the fix, less than 3 weeks went by and it appeared that the alternator was going bad again. The techs said rats had chewed my alternator wires, and they couldn't fix it. I took it to another shop which explained to me that they installed a faulty alternator, and stated that the bite marks were not evident to them. I then asked Jiffy Lube to re-reimburse me for the money we spent on the original replacement. They agreed, but then stopped communicating with me when I asked for an update. After numerous attempts to contact the company, I still have not received my reimbursement. I will not be returning, and would encourage you to find your oil-changes or car repairs elsewhere. After this experience, I would give zero stars if possible. read more

These guys provided a quick oil change and it was on a Saturday...plus, they pointed out immediately that the oil cap was missing...obviously happened in VA a few months ago before we moved at the discount oil change place I went to...luckily no oil thrown all over the engine...went next door to an auto parts place who sold me a replacement plug...stopped back at JL as the "check engine" light had come on...The manager, I believe his name was Jason, adjusted the air filter sensor and put the plug in for me...Great Customer Service read more

Really surprised at all the bad reviews. My experience was really great. First off Alex Jackson, Ajax, customer service is on point. He was very knowledgeable and let me know everything that was going on with my car. Took it in for an oil change and they checked everything for me. Would not recommend, pick somewhere else. While the some staff was nice, we spent over an hour and a half waiting for a state inspection with no results. Had to go in the back after sitting there for too long and our car still not being worked on. Told the guy it had been too long and we needed to leave and his response was "alright". This place has throughly upset me. June 6th I went in for an oil change and upon leaving they tell me my car will not shift out of park and the radio will not come on. My car would NOW only shift out of park with the shift release button that has to be manually pushed by removing the plastic tab next to the shift gear and putting an object inside it. My car was fine when I got there. Well after researching on my own, stressing and being completely perplexed I saw several post about blown fuses on an Acura help site. I checked my fuses and three of them were missing. I replacesd them and now my car is back to normal. Those snakes took out my fuses and acted as if something was wrong with my car. Next I'm gong to the better business Bureau because my car would've never been able to shift out of park prior to bringing them my car if those fuses were missing all along.
