Changed oil Monday, on Tuesday, 60 miles from home, the engine seized. Professionals at Mineke showed me that Jiffy Lube put on the wrong filter. Slowly blew all the oil out, after the oil pressure gauge sensor. Now I do not have a van wheelchair acessable for me Thanks Jiffy lube. read more

This store stripped my plug in my oil pan and refused to do anything about it. Now I am forced to go to Jiffy Lube with a temporary plug each time now. I can't go anywhere else to get a oil change. My only alternative is to spend $500+ for a new pan. The corporate office of Jiffy Lube refused to do anything even though local store managers no exactly what happened. Horrible customer service. Took it in for an oil change and came out with missing bolts for my skid plate, no vacuum to my brakes, and a half-assed installed coolant tank. They broke the line to my brakes trying to take the coolant out. Their tech tried to put RTV sealant on it and then told me that they were not going to pay for the part. Complained to the manager and he gave me a refund, but it has been over a week and the part they broke and said they would order for me stillhas not arrived because it was still being "approved". Save yourself the money and don't go cheap. Get it done right at an actual shop. read more

If I could give NO stars I would. My car oil has been leaking since they changed my car oil. I took my car there ( Jiffy on NE st Renton ) again yesterday to ask them fix it. I was told they fixed it. MY OIL STILL LEAKING!!!!!! So I took my car to " OIL CAN HENRY"S" today and I was told Jiffy didnt even close oil cap right. Jiffy costed me a lots of money to not do their job and took more money I did not even ask them to do it. Also Jiffey told me I dont use most expensive oil , so oil is leaking. Just laugh.!!! I drive an old 1988 Honda. I drive A LOT and I've been to many Jiffy Lubes for oil changes but this is by far the best experience I've ever had. The gentleman there were extremely nice. They addressed me as Miss followed by my last name. If I didn't live so far north I would go out of my way to come here every time. It would be easier for you to drive around the corner to Firestone to get your oil changed. Here they will only try to make you spend more money on a simple oil change. It is not worth your time or money. Also, if you show up right when they open you have to give them at least 15 minutes to get ready. read more

I just went here on my lunch break today and they got me in and out. I called before hand to see if they were busy and they said no but it's first come, first serve. So I went right away (I NEEDED an oil change today because I was overdue for it) and as soon as I got there Brandon was able to help me. It took probably 15 minutes total. I also went online and they had a $10 off coupon that I was able to use. Brandon checked many other things including my tires, battery, fluids, etc. etc. and overall he just had great customer service and was really quick. I paid $42 so it's not as cheap as say if you had a groupon for some place but for that price and customer service I think it's worth it. Definitely coming back. read more

Five-star customer service from Amanda and Cody today! Amanda greeted me, established and maintained communication throughout my visit, keeping me informed each step of my oil change. It was a bit more than just an oil change, though, as I had just arrived from Renton Subaru Service Center following an airbag recall. Renton Subaru documents unrelated gripes costing well beyond the price I could possibly ever get for the resale of my car, so I asked Cody to verify their latest list. As I suspected, neither Cody nor his senior mechanic could corroborate any of the "phantom" gripes Renton Subaru supposedly found. They performed this inspection--and cleaned my windshield after a bird missed the Subaru dealership at which it had been aiming--at no extra charge. I'll verify the status of my vehicle with my own mechanic next week, but it's reassuring to know that my local Jiffy Lube is staffed by competent professionals who actually care about their customers and the service that they provide, unlike my local Subaru Service Center. read more

Yesterday I received superior customer service from Rita, the manager of the Jiffy Lube in the Renton Highlands, and her staff. Here's my review: I called Jiffy Lube at 6:30pm on Friday night in a panic because my car hadn't started twice that evening. I asked how late they were open and was told my a very nice gentleman who couldn't have been more polite that they were open till 7pm. I knew that this was not enough time for me to drive there and for them to properly diagnose the problem before they closed. I went there anyway hoping it might be an easy fix and that I wouldn't inconvenience them by arriving so near to closing time. Rita greeted me with a smile and waved me into her oil-changing station. I was grateful to see her welcoming smile and not a scowl that I was expecting because I had arrived so late. I told Rita about my car not starting, which was immediately followed by my confession that I am in bad financial straits. I won't go into my tale of woe here, but I am sure Rita has heard them all. I was astounded that Rita continued to treat me with respect and kindness where she could have looked down on me and maybe thought I wasn't worth her time because I did not have a lot of money to spend on repairs. Rita had an air of confidence and assured me she would fix my car. I was so relieved to her that. Rita got busy and enlisted the help of some members of her staff to diagnose what was wrong with my car and, if I had enough money, to get a oil change which I was way overdo on. I sat in a worried state in the waiting room and got increasingly nervous as time was ticking away. I didn't have a watch, but I knew it must have been past their closing time, but that didn't deter them from doing a thorough job. Really, I have not encountered this type of excellent customer service these days except at Nordstrom's and a couple of other outfits. I heard my car starting so I went out to the register with great trepidation praying my credit card would have enough money left to pay the bill. Rita gave me a reassuring smile and walked me through the extensive diagnostic testing they had given my car. She handed me a print out of the results in case I need to refer to what they tested in the future. All's well with my car and I could even afford the bargain basement price of an oil change of $29.99. I was so relieved and grateful to Rita for her help and the good outcome. I recommend Jiffy Lube and kudos to Rita! read more

I went to this location on Sunday morning about 10:30. They had me in and out in about 15 minutes. They did ask me if I wanted an air filter replacement, I told them no thank you and that was it. Terrible service experience. Brought my 3 year old car in to have the oil changed. Waited about 40 minutes which is ok but not great, then they went over my checklist saying everything was fine, but when I went to get in my car it wouldn't start. They then told me they couldn't start it either and they had to jump it. They told me I had a bad battery (which is a joke since they just told me everything was great), and then said I must have a problem with my ignition. I drove it home after jumping it and it works totally fine - so they must have run the battery out during that 40 minutes I was waiting. And no, it wasn't my fault - headlights were on auto which turns off automatically. I am the original owner and have never had a problem with the battery, nor have I ever run the battery down. I know how to work my car. It is keyless ignition, so they probably left it turned on while they worked on it (engine not running). I will never come to Jiffy Lube again. I would have been fine if they would have just told me the truth about running my battery out, but they played innocent and blamed me and the battery. I would avoid this place. read more

Just went in for my synthetic oil change at this location for the first time. I was greeted by a representative who directed me to the waiting area. Josh called me up and we went over the type of service/oil change I wanted. I presented a coupon which they gladly accepted. My service was done in about 30 minutes. They were quick, informative and friendly. I remember Jiffy Lube always trying to upsell me in the past, but it was refreshing when they did not do that this time around. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I'll be coming back. read more

The employees usually place a sticker on the windshield that state the odometer reading that my next oil change is due, this location forgot to do that (other locations have always done it). It's true they had three vehicles ahead of me in the shop bays. Also, this was the first time that an employee at a Jiffy Lube asked me for feedback, I don't know if that's usual. A couple hundred miles later I realized that one of my small vacuum hoses in my car was disconnected, I am not certain if the employees were at fault for that. Just keep your eyes and ears peeled for anything unusual. read more

If I could give NO stars I would. It has been a while since I've come to jiffy lube. I took my car in yesterday to have an oil change, instead of getting my car back I got a death trap. The complete incompetence of the technician was UNBELIEVABLE. The weather strip that keeps things out of my engine was laying across my engine, possible fire hazard if it gets too hot under there. My transmission dip stick was was pulled basically all the way out, could have fallen into something else and ruined my car. The cabin air filter looked like they just threw it in there, didn't even try to install it correctly. The engine filter was installed properly but the hose connecting it to the engine was disconnected and anything could have fallen in it. I am completely unsatisfied with the service I received for the amount of money I spent. I expected WAY better service then what I got. My car is the main transportation for my children and am disappointed that the level of care was 0. I'll never return to jiffy lube and I most definitely will not recommend anyone to jiffy lube for service. read more

What should have been no more than 1/2 it took over hour and 1/2. I have a fleet car which should have been in their system, they couldn't find it!! Then they didn't have the air filter in stock .. The Jiffy Lube website says they open at 8 AM Mon.-Fri. I arrived at 8:15 AM. I saw employees in the building, but when I pulled up to the bay doors they left them closed and didn't acknowledge me. They knew I was there because I drove over their bell chord twice. So much for customer service. Why even bother listing business hours if you're not going to adhere to them? read more

I came in for a walk-up oil change. The wait times were not terrible but the service was less than average. When I went into my mechanic a few days later, they noticed that the oil filter was improperly installed and was leaking. Not surprising from a Jiffy Lube, I suppose, but I was hoping for an adequate performance. I will not return. read more

Bait and switch advertising. They put up a big sign saying 29.99 oil change . Tell them I want the regular oil change. Fast talking young salesperson gets me to unknowingly agree to an "oil upgrade" for an extra 24.99'so my bill is $60 plus I think they must have changed ownership because I have been here before and had no problems. First of all when you open at 8 am I expect to be serviced at 8 am. I went this morning at 8 am when they open and one of the techs told me he was not allowed to service cars alone and that I would have to wait for the second person to arrive (and of course he had no idea when that would be). I find this unacceptable. Either have two people on site at 8 am or open later when two people are available. Won't be returning to this Jiffy Lube! read more

DO NOT take your car here for anything, it is not worth the risk!! Let me try to sum up my experience as short as possible for my review. I went in for an oil change on November 4th, 2015. the manager came into the waiting room where I was, and told me they accidentally broke my oil filter cap. They attempted to "seal" it so it would be drivable to take to another shop because they couldn't fix the broken cap. 24 hours later, they still had my vehicle at Jiffy Lube and it was not drivable! Had to have it towed to a shop, where my car wouldn't start. The shop fixed my oil filter cap but my car continued to have starting problems ever since. No one could tell me how or what was causing the issues from the 24 hours my car was in Jiffy Lube's possession. I never had ANY issues with my car starting or with the engine. On December 14th, 2015 my engine blew out while I was driving with my 4 month old baby! My engine is toast. It is now December 29th and I have made four attempts to get in touch with the district manager after the manager said he no longer could help me. He refused to give me the district managers contact info. He keeps saying the district manager will get in touch with me. In the mean time, they have not fixed my engine or provided a loaner vehicle. We have been stuck without a vehicle during the busiest and coldest time of the year with no assistance, response, or care from Jiffy Lube! I am still waiting to even just speak with someone about my issue!! read more
